The house was as described. Smelled slightly of dog and was not the cleanest place we’ve stayed. There was a mixup with the host confusing our check out that caused a bit of undue stress but the host was quick to answer messages and a phone call. Worked for what we needed but we probably wouldn’t stay again.

This lovely cottage was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It was just perfect for 3 of us to stay in while visiting family nearby. Communication with the host was great! We were there during a very hot summer weekend, and were amazed at how cool and comfortable the A/C wall units kept the place while silently running. Very impressive! (Seriously, they never even made a sound!) We highly recommend this cottage and look forward to staying here again soon!

The owners were quick to respond to any questions or problems we had. The beds are comfy and the a/c can keep you perfectly cool, even when it's 100 degrees outside.

This lovely cottage was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It was just perfect for 3 of us to stay in while visiting family nearby. Communication with the host was great! We stayed 8 nights and the house was very clean and the furnishings were nice and in great condition. Seating is an issue so it will not be comfortable for more than 2 people. There are only 3 steel counter stools with no backs and a 2 person couch. We had some trouble with check in as I was not given a contact phone number and did not receive the code 1 hour prior via text. The kitchen is very nice but could use a colander. The owner was very nice to deal with and did answer when we called. There is traffic noise but it is out in the country which we enjoyed.

This is a nice remodeled home. It is lacking lighting and dressers to put clothes. Instructions to use TVs, no ability to obtain APPs with out a pin for their Roku TV. We could access all those that were already placed with our own subscriptions. I fixed the loose toilet lids. We would have liked written instructions on using the heating unit and washer and dryer. There were no bowls for salads for mixing or for popcorn. It would have been nice to have a toaster. It was decorated nice but no lamps for lighting in the living room and no real seating in living room one small couch. This property could really only be used for 2 single adults for short stay. My friend and I stayed for one week. Just needs some more user friendly additions. Thanks

Home was perfect for our needs. Good size rooms. The 1 and 1/2 bath was great! Plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen is well stocked. All the appliances are modern. The air conditioning was great and quiet! The owner was very responsive. No complaints here! Thank you!

The house was cute. Not much seating it’s really set up for one or two people. The outside could use a good cleaning up. The beds were small but comfortable. We had trouble with the closet doors. My two grandsons stayed one night with us so it was too small for that. The fireplace was not plugged in and there was no room in the plug ins. Don’t mean to be picky but hopefully it will give you suggestions. We also had to go buy a toaster. Usually that’s included? We actually checked in on Sunday and checked out on Saturday.

Very clean, updated house, nice location but the very worst beds ive ever slept in. They are tiny and very uncomfortable. Might be ok for 2 people, 1 in each bed, but not for a family of 4.

Yellow Door Cottage was convenient to our family's home, reviews were positive. These were main reasons for choosing this particular VRBO. The host responded quicky to a concern that we had upon check in & took care of the concern promptly & above expectation of what we expected. Host checked back with us to assure all was handled to our satisfaction & it was. We will stay here again when in area & do recommend it for others. Close to about anything you want or need. Big thank you to host for all you did to make our stay comfortable.

My daughter and I took a weekend trip to visit my dad. The house was so cute, extremely clean, quiet and very close to not only my dad's but to plenty of stores, restaurants, etc. The host was wonderful and responded promptly to my questions.

The yellow door cottage is private. On a busy road but cottage set back enough. It was very clean inside and very nicely decorated with cute details. Beds very comfortable..ac worked great. All you need for a nice stay. I felt at ease leaving my digs there for short intervals. We would stay again))
