Great location with 5 pools! Hotel has access to the sea with a platform to jump from the cliffs. Walkable to Copacabana beach. Buffet breakfast included mimosas.

Surprisingly disappointing. Having booked a one night stay due to the availability of a kids pool (and phoning to confirm it was open) when we arrived at the pool with our kids at 9:30 on a Saturday morning we were told it was closed for cleaning. Room was fine but the whole hotel & decor was quite dated. Excellent views and location 10 mins drive from old town.

Perfekt beliggenhet, veldig koselig personale og store fine rom! Det var flere restauranter å velge mellom og vi kunne benytte alle bassengene i tillegg til bassenget på vårt eget hotell. Anbefaler også å benytte SPA avdelingen for massasje! Anbefales for både par og familier!

The stay was fantastic! It is a really lovely resort and so good to be able to use the facilities of all the neighbouring Royal properties with ease. Loved the location and views. Very easy to get into town and breakfast was incredible!

This hotel is not a 5star for sure. The Good- outside of the property is very nice with great views of the Adriatic ocean. Some nice waterfront restaurants nearby. And 10-15 uber drive to Old town. Breakfast buffet was great with good variety and options. There is not actual beach with the hotel but there is one 10mins walk. We did not enjoy the Zoe bar and relaxed by the cliff rocks. The pizza place was really good. And the neptune restaurant was great. Go to Cave Bar more abt 10mins walk from the hotel. The Bad- the rooms and inside of the hotel needs major upgrades. Though our room was clean and huge with great views but it needed major updates. Housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning the rooms. We had dinner buffet included with our booking and the dinner options were not great and very limited. 2nd nite we saw the same shrimp from previous nite in the warmer. We decided to skip dinner buffet and go elsewhere to eat. Staff were not very attentive. It was hit or miss on staff. Some were friendlier than others.

My review has been clouded by an issue we had with the room we were given - a leak from the shower room into the main room meant the carpet was wet when we walked into the room and there was a bad odour. We reported this on our second day and a maid came to the room to put an air freshener onto the carpet! We complained twice more and were ignored. This was supposedly a 5* Hotel. Breakfast was very poor - tasteless fruit and an off selection.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The reception staff greeted me with warm smiles and provided all the necessary information about the hotel's facilities and services. The property is beautiful, relaxing and the suites are clean and spacious. Only issue, I had to request an iron and iron board. The iron needed to be cleaned. Apart from that, where the hotel is situated is great. Uber is cheap, Old town is not far away and Uber cost to the airport was only 30Euro. My family and I had a fantastic time. Thanks to everyone at Royal Princess Hotel.

Great location. Stunning view. Many walkable restaurants around. Hotel is little run down. Needs small touch ups. Our room was spotless. Specious. Two full baths and a sofa bad with king size bed in the main bedroom. However headboard was showing signs of aging. Peeling leather. But it was clean. Staff are very quiet. Very kind but little shy when asked something. But at the same time very helpful. Only issue we had with staff attitude was at the front desk. Sadly Manuela had issues with us minute we walked in. She had major attitude. Almost made me feel I was forcing her to answer simple questions. Something like where do I wait for my taxi? Or if I can have iron to iron my clothing. It was such a bad experience I didn’t want to call or go down. I was almost scared she would be there and I’ll get that attitude again. But rest of the staff saw and acknowledged what had been going on. And they apologized on her behalf. Breakfast was great. Had all that my kids love. Their pizzas are delicious. It’s about 15-20 minutes from old port. Makes it more quiet. But for sure taxi is needed to go. And it wasn’t bad at all. Between €9 and €11 euros.

We couldn't fault this hotel at all. It was truly amazing. We felt so well looked after all week. The suite we had was spacious, with 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette and lots of storage space. The breakfast was top quality, plenty of choice and served over a span of 4 hours which was convenient. We can highly recommend this hotel and if we return to Dubrovnik, wouldn't hesitate in staying there again.

The room we had at the Princess was amazing!! Awesome views great breakfast! Hotel is very close to cheap public transit to the main gate of the old town. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Dubrovnik and relax at the same time!!

This property is gorgeous. we have the opportunity to stay in a very big room with two independent rooms, a kitchen and two full bathrooms. Ocean view was the crown of the room with an Amazing view. A nice champagne bottle was a complementary welcome.

Very nice, clean, spacious rooms. We didnt want to be near the Old Towns traffic and noise. You are a 35 minute walk or a 10 minute UBER ride depending on the traffic for 10 EURO each way. This hotel you are on the sea and have a very private beach.

Didnt get the room we requested. Only booked for 1 night. Booked a jr suite with an ocean view. Instead we got a large room with a kitchen on the ground floor facing the street. Staff was unwilling to find an alternative room option.

Amazing views and a nice change from crowed old town. Very walkable promenade to sunset beach area featuring restaurants, cafes, etc. I would stay here again. Property could use a bit of touch up, thus 4 star (stained carpet, furniture, etc - nothing major but certainly not 5 star). Staff/ service was very good.

Wonderful experience at the Royal Princess. Staff was great as was the morning breakfast buffet. Surroundings were gorgeous. Everything overlooks the Adriatic Sea. The promenade was a delight to walk every day to Lapad with numerous restaurants and stops along the way. Staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Would stay in a heartbeat again.

The stay was fantastic! It is a really lovely resort and so good to be able to use the facilities of all the neighbouring Royal properties with ease. Loved the location and views. Very easy to get into town and breakfast was incredible!

arrived on an early flight but there was no rooms ready for an early check in (11.30) ? - hotel was clean and tidy. Breakfast was more than expected with very good service. Position of the hotel was ideal with easy access by walking along a promenade to Lapad. 3 bus routes to the city were only 100mtrs away with at least 4 buses an hour. Checkout was slow - only 1 person on the desk at 10.55 and it took over 20 mins. to process 4 families leaving and 2 arriving (there also was a queue behind us). Happy to visit Dubrovnik again and stay at the Princess.

Great location. Stunning view. Many walkable restaurants around. Hotel is little run down. Needs small touch ups. Our room was spotless. Specious. Two full baths and a sofa bad with king size bed in the main bedroom. However headboard was showing signs of aging. Peeling leather. But it was clean. Staff are very quiet. Very kind but little shy when asked something. But at the same time very helpful. Only issue we had with staff attitude was at the front desk. Sadly Manuela had issues with us minute we walked in. She had major attitude. Almost made me feel I was forcing her to answer simple questions. Something like where do I wait for my taxi? Or if I can have iron to iron my clothing. It was such a bad experience I didn’t want to call or go down. I was almost scared she would be there and I’ll get that attitude again. But rest of the staff saw and acknowledged what had been going on. And they apologized on her behalf. Breakfast was great. Had all that my kids love. Their pizzas are delicious. Overall we enjoyed our stay but after arranging the previous day for our breakfast boxes as we would need to leave in the early hours of the morning they did not prepare any breakfast boxes. This was a bad experience with two small hungry children. However they send us to one of the other hotels in the group that had two extra breakfast boxed but it was horrible. Dry bread without any butter. So unfortunately we were disappointed the moment we left...

The room we had at the Princess was amazing!! Awesome views great breakfast! Hotel is very close to cheap public transit to the main gate of the old town. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Dubrovnik and relax at the same time!!

The Royal Princess is located on a beautifully manicured property with absolutely stunning views! The breakfast is very good with many choices. We found the location to be perfect. It is tucked away enough to be quiet and have a resort-feel. The property is located on the promenade which connects you to Lapad Beach which has many restaurants and a very nice beach. The walk to Lapad is only 15 minutes and is nice and scenic. You can also hop on Bus 6 which you can catch from a bus stop 5 minutes from the property and get dropped off right in front of Old Town Dubrovnik. We highly recommend the Royal Princess and would not hesitate to return!

Very nice, clean, spacious rooms. We didnt want to be near the Old Towns traffic and noise. You are a 35 minute walk or a 10 minute UBER ride depending on the traffic for 10 EURO each way. This hotel you are on the sea and have a very private beach.

Amazing views and a nice change from crowed old town. Very walkable promenade to sunset beach area featuring restaurants, cafes, etc. I would stay here again. Property could use a bit of touch up, thus 4 star (stained carpet, furniture, etc - nothing major but certainly not 5 star). Staff/ service was very good.

We enjoyed this property. Behind it is a beautiful promenade that links many other hotels and properties along the water. This has so many restaurants, cafes and shops. It was very convenient, plus there’s a bus stop nearby where we took the bus to the Old City several times on our trip.

This hotel is not a 5star for sure. The Good- outside of the property is very nice with great views of the Adriatic ocean. Some nice waterfront restaurants nearby. And 10-15 uber drive to Old town. Breakfast buffet was great with good variety and options. There is not actual beach with the hotel but there is one 10mins walk. We did not enjoy the Zoe bar and relaxed by the cliff rocks. The pizza place was really good. And the neptune restaurant was great. Go to Cave Bar more abt 10mins walk from the hotel. The Bad- the rooms and inside of the hotel needs major upgrades. Though our room was clean and huge with great views but it needed major updates. Housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning the rooms. We had dinner buffet included with our booking and the dinner options were not great and very limited. 2nd nite we saw the same shrimp from previous nite in the warmer. We decided to skip dinner buffet and go elsewhere to eat. Staff were not very attentive. It was hit or miss on staff. Some were friendlier than others.

We couldn't fault this hotel at all. It was truly amazing. We felt so well looked after all week. The suite we had was spacious, with 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette and lots of storage space. The breakfast was top quality, plenty of choice and served over a span of 4 hours which was convenient. We can highly recommend this hotel and if we return to Dubrovnik, wouldn't hesitate in staying there again.

The property is in a fabulous location with incredible views over the cliff. In general, the facilities are very good but 5 star is a stretch as the in-room facilities like coffee (sachets in a 5 star?) and shower was so-so. The breakfast was the low point. You aren\'t told there is a freshly cooked option (it\'s obvious the staff are trying to minimize that), you aren\'t shown to your seat, items on the buffet are not replaced or cold....staff try to avoid your gaze when you look for anything, they turn off the coffee machine at 10.30 precisely and tell you it\'s "broken"....it was an absolute mess. It was what I would expect in a bad 3 star hotel. It\'s such a shame as the hotel could be great.

Ala carte restaurant, on the night we dined in, had most of the food not available and the waiter himself thought two of the foods we thought to have were not quite fresh and advised against. For this I would praise him as he was concerned about the health and safety. Their buffet restaurant was the worst we have ever had in any 5 star hotels so far. I could easily score this hotel to 1 star only for that buffet. On the other hand, rooms were absolutely gorgeous, beautiful decor and clean and posh. Sea view from the rooms was stunning. Great hotel and overall facilities were good. Poor evening meal facilities and respite trying to resolve this with the hotel we failed to be able to get a table between 6.30 - 8 on three nights of our stay. I would advise against booking half board. Breakfast was good , pool and spa lovely.

Lovely spacious room for our family. Great restaurants on site and a wonderful location. About a 15 min drive to the Old Town area. It was great to be able to walk down the promenade which was so charming and convenient for more dining options. The only downside was that the fitness center was pretty basic and there were not enough free weights for a proper workout. Would definitely recommend this spot!
