We have booked a sea view king room but we are very disappointed with the experience we had. We are not allowed to use the outdoor terrace because there is an event booked on the first day. And then we are not allowed to enjoy the sky bar on the second day morning. What are we paying for is just for the room? The public areas can be just closed because of the event without any advance notice! It is very bad arrangement and experience for the guests. Are we supposed to just stay in the room? Are we staying at the quarantine hotel??

The most frustrating hotel, ever. Such a good vibe, lovely staff, ruined by weird rules, times, and a management that sucks the joy out of a stay. It could be such a good hotel. But it isn't. The area is quiet but that also means you need your hotel to provide services in the evening. Forget it. 7pm prompt, the pool shuts. 9.30pm prompt, everything else shuts down. Coming back from the city and need a soft drink or snack, forget it. There is a tiny 7-eleven in the MTR station a few minutes away but that is it. The upkeep is also struggling, painting and repair work is poor quality, the lifts become overwhelmed really easily so you can be delayed getting out or in to the hotel, the much lauded 'Arca Sky' bar does not exist anymore... the list is long. It COULD be and SHOULD be a great hotel. But the way it is run removes any joy or fun to be had. The staff apologised for many things and kept saying "sorry, we're a small hotel". It has over 150 rooms... at 10.30pm, after all the services are shut there are five people chatting at reception, 4 people behind the (closed) bar chatting, two people down at the ground level welcoming people and pressing the elevator buttons. But, can you get a refreshment or anything other than a soda or beer for extortianate money from behind the desk? No. Walk to the 7-eleven back at the MTR or get ripped off and pay $380 for a bottle of cheap wine or $4 for a Sprite. The management need to change as this place could be the best in HK. It isn't ATM

A super pet friendly hotel with great amenities for pets. Definitely a perfect place for fun with your furry babies!

Spacious room with nice view. Breakfast was poor, didn't worth the money, not much to choose. Swimming pool and terrace was closed , this was one of the reason we book at this hotel, So disappointed.

This is an amazing hotel with great service and views over the water. It’s an easy and quick MTR ride to the centre. There is a great rooftop pool. We loved our stay!

Lovely hotel a great room with view over the bay ,on the 33rd floor . The location is a little outside the main areas of Hong Kong and Kowloon , but good access on the MTR which is 6 minutes away . Very disappointing to find that the swimming pool on the roof was closed as this was one of the reasons we booked this hotel . No advance notification that it was going to be closed when we booked

Overall quality very good, location a bit quieter but close to MTR station with quick links to central. Terrace on level 3 very nice, pool deck on roof closed for winter (some light damage to mural artwork on roof level likely to be repaired during winter maintenance). Rooms and public area all modern and in good condition. Staff replaced used amenity kit on first night, but on second night provided additional toothpaste without replacing toothbrush (ie more eco on second night). Rooms decent size and modern, good amenities and luggage rack area provided. View from sea view rooms very good. Staff very helpful, especially Winston. Would have appreciated instructions on how to use coffee machine, and a reminder that only bottled water or water specifically labelled “drinking water” should be consumed in Hong Kong.

The rooms were cleaned to an excellent standard. The staff were very helpful at all hours. The location is good and the roof top pool was excellent.

We stayed at the Arca for a week with our two small children and it was absolutely stunning. The view from the two bedroom Seaview suite Is even more amazing in real life than it is in the pictures. It took our breath away when we arrived. The beds are also really comfortable and the towels really fluffy. We had all the facilities we needed to make our stay really comfortable. It was particularly great having a filtered water tap in the kitchen area and having kitchen towel provided. There were also slippers and dressing gown provided which was a lovely touch. The staff were very friendly and we found it to be a great location for getting around with good transport links. We didn’t really want to leave. The two bedroom suite is a perfect base for a family with small children in Hong Kong. The rooftop bar with Pool was a really great space However, the pool is not heated so is really too cold to spend too much time in. But the loungers next to the pool are lovely places to hang out on. The restaurant was also very good with a beautiful outside space. We would not hesitate to come back again.

The mattress and duvet have a noticeable damp odor, making the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, drinkable water is only available from a shared station in the corridor. This becomes quite disruptive at night, as the room doors are not soundproof, and the noise from other guests can be disturbing.

A pleasant stay overall, good size rooms and good maintenance. Staff react quickly to resolve screen casting function on smart TV which is very good. An area for improvement is the bedsheets and pillow case smell musty, possibly due to storing sheets while still a bit damp.

客房空間寬敞舒適 但客房濕度偏高，感覺不太舒服 雖然有提供抽濕機但幫助不太，很快就滿水要不停倒水。 職員十分有禮貌 黃竹坑站步行5分鐘左右 希望能改善房間濕度問題 會再考慮入住

房間向海，風景不錯，整體衞生尚可。 不過被單上竟然有一條毛，有點核突，要噴酒精才敢訓。

前台接待人員有禮，且給予提前入住。房間乾淨整潔，裝潢還很新，床及寢具也很舒適。唯一也是許多酒店房間的通病是隔音不夠好，晚上遇到鄰房沒公德大聲嚷嚷的房客，自然影響休息。

Beautiful hotel, hard mattress

This hotel provided everything. A spacious room with black-out automatic movable window, plus sheets too. Mini fridge, soft-closing doors and drawers, temperature-controlled water dispenser in the corridor, and fast wifi through-out. Only downside was the lack of BBC World News or any English TV channels.

Rooms are modern and spacious for Hong Kong. Staff were great. The views from the hotel rooms and rooftop pool is fabulous.

The room was nice inside but I paid for city view and I had only big bilding exactly in front of the window, so I had no view, they don't offers bottles of water you must take from a machine that is filtred the water.. The location is far from the attractions, the reception is in the same place with the restaurant at 3th floor (for a 4*hotel is inacceptabil). Overall I didn't enjoy the stay, in the photos is everything very nice, the reviews are very good but the reality is different.

All the staff at the front desk and the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Besides, there are many bus routes and a railway station nearby making public transportation very easy.

The location (close to the MTR station) was perfect. The room was large with a comfy bed, great shower and good bathroom products. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant had tasty food at reasonable prices (for a hotel).

Amiable and nice staff. The room is clean and up to a 4-star hotel standard—comfortable and pleasant stay. Good customer service is an asset to the hotel. Keep it up!

Overall satisficed with the stay at Arca. The only complain is the conciserge. They need get sharper with their service and be more reliable.

Our two weeks stay was truly exceptional, despite a minor issue with the room, which was promptly and courteously resolved. Special thanks to Yvonne at the front desk and Josephine in housekeeping for their kindness, professionalism, and outstanding service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. We look forward to returning with our dog on our next visit. Highly recommended!

We had a great size room for Hong Kong. Close to MTR and Ocean Park. Best feature was Vincent the Concierge he was so friendly and so helpful best Concierge I have experienced in my many trips to Hong Kong. Thank you Vincent for making our stay great !!

Staff service is really poor and inexperienced, swimming pool closes at 7 which is way too soon, didn’t have chance to swim at all due to storm signal

This was a comfortable hotel if you only look for a kids and dogs friendly vacation place. Customer services were disappointed. I booked it for celebrating my girl’s birthday. Cake was sent wrongly. A birthday card for greeting wrote my helper’s name. However. while mistakes were made they were helpful, yet this experience made me hesitate to come again if I need to organise family event in the future.

There is a big mall called Southside with a MTR subway stop 5 mins walk from the hotel. Lots of dining options there including McDonald’s. There is also an airport bus A10 at Ocean court which is about 8-10 mins walk from the hotel. The advantage of the airport bus is that you don’t have to change trains several times. The rooftop pool has a great view and decent size.

We like the best is the size of the room. And the layout and design of the room is very nice. We dislike the most is the neighborhood. The hotel is located in the industrial area and the worst is just built along side a big and smelly sewage canal.

We had a room on level 25. The staff at reception and room cleaners were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable (although there was no couch, just a seating area on the windowsill). The bathroom was good and the shower great. The rooftop infinity pool offers lovely views. The only downside was limited dining/bar options in the area. The hotel has a restaurant on L3 and there is an African cafe in a neighbouring building (L15) but besides that - we couldn't find much. There is a mall at the nearby Metro and there are a few eating options in Aberdeen but we found only 1 bar. The hotel is about an 8 minute walk to the Metro and you can be in Central 10 minutes later.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

The location is not as great. You need to walk around 7mins -10 mins to the MTR station and nothing around the hotel for convenience store. The closer one is from the MTR station. If you need drinks, make sure you buy it from the MTR station 7-11 before walking back to the hotel. Walkable distance to Aberdeen for restaurant there. Other than that everything is great there. Friendly staff, clean room, good facility, great view (sea view), quiet. Nice pool view. I would definitely stay there again if I ever go to HK again.

The hotel is very nice, clean and room is very big. You could hear the metro train passes, but it is not too loud. Good room service as well. The breakfast is so so, but given the price in HK, that is probably ok. I expected they have more Chinese/HK food, but it is English style. But I did not see the bacon for the breakfast. I wish they provide hot milk( I mean really hot milk not room temperature one). Other than that, all good. I mean, it is worth staying and the hotel gives us free cookies and body spray when we arrived( that is also very kind of them). We will come and stay if we come to HK again.

Room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately the pool was out of service because of the winter. Also there was some sort of renovation going on. Due to that we couldn’t really enjoy the rooftop at all. Also the food (restaurant and breakfast) was a little bit what you would have wished more. Service was fine.

For a Dog staycation (or any vacation) the Arca is terrific. Location is excellent - right on the doorstep to the MTR (tube) and lovely quiet walks around the hotel. When I say the hotel and area are dog friendly - that’s an understatement. The whole area is dog friendly which is great! In-room dining was good also, quality and big portions. Swimming pool wasn’t open yet so will try that out when I return (already booked again!). Thank you so much Arca!

My husband and I stayed at a very comfortable room over looking the marina. What a very nice view to wake up to every morning!! I also really enjoyed my dining experience on the patio. Good food, very friendly service and reasonable price! They even have an art exhibition on site!! I would definitely recommend Arca to my friends!!

The pool was beautiful rooms were very comfortable nice shower and washroom facilities. Great amenities and replenished daily. Overall, very nice place to stay although dining and drinks were quite expensive. After two weeks, the music playlist was a bit monotonous.
