The staff were very friendly,room was great very clean it was like a little studio condo had a stove fridge freezer, etc. The town is really quaint and a lot of good restaurants, my only complaint is there are so many homeless. The sidewalks smelled like urine in the mornings, and all the shop owners were squirting off the cement out front. During the evening, they were all getting their sleeping places and I saw some doing drugs. I heard sirens outside my window and police talking to all the homeless trying to get them off of the street. A lot of mentally ill homeless it was kind of scary at night, especially going solo. Somewhere in the middle of the street, screaming at everyone yelling obscenities. I definitely won’t go back, not because of the hotel but because of my safety concerns. They did have security out front 24 seven which was nice, but I didn’t feel comfortable going out at night.

Great rooms for an excellent price. Yes, the area is busy and the vulnerable population is prevalent in the area. However the building is under key card lock 24/7 and the staff is very friendly.

Check in was fine but then when all we wanted was to settle in after a very long trip, we were subjected to a hard sales pitch to schedule our attendance at a 90 minute Wyndham properties presentation. This was unexpected and not appreciated. The app used by the valet service didn’t work so we spent quite a bit of time trying to confirm that our car was actually there. The hotel and valet staff were helpful but could not send us a message with the link to retrieve our car. The room was large, attractive and comfortable but the window seal was broken so we could hear every conversation on the sidewalk below it.

Awesome experience! I’m BIG on customer service and they nailed it! Prior to arrival I received a text confirming details of my stay. They have a VIP chalk board for guests with your name that makes you feel special. Harmony checked me in and was fantastic. She was patient, kind and knowledgeable. I was able to check in early from a long flight and prepare for the conference I was attending at the convention center. A plethora of local restaurants to choose from. Homeless are around but unavoidable. Felt safe with key card access to the hotel. My room was clean and quiet, it had a kitchenette area that was a plus. Will definitely return next time I’m in San Diego.

Loved this hotel. Very funky and located in or adjacent to the Gaslamp area of San Diego. Rooms were clean and serviced every second day. Room was spacious but my only negatives were that there is no safe or mini fridge in the room. Very close to Broadway and the 5th Avenue Trolley stop. Would I stay here again… definitely

This hotel was convenient for a conference I attended. I love how walkable it is to things, but it is quite loud in this area in the evenings. I travel with earplugs, so I was fine - but definitely something to know about in Advance!

I heard sirens outside my window and police talking to all the homeless trying to get them off of the street. A lot of mentally ill homeless it was kind of scary at night, especially going solo. Somewhere in the middle of the street, screaming at everyone yelling obscenities. I definitely won’t go back, not because of the hotel but because of my safety concerns. They did have security out front 24 seven which was nice, but I didn’t feel comfortable going out at night.
The staff were very friendly,room was great very clean it was like a little studio condo had a stove fridge freezer, etc. The town is really quaint and a lot of good restaurants, my only complaint is there are so many homeless. The sidewalks smelled like urine in the mornings, and all the shop owners were squirting off the cement out front. Great location close to all the great restaurants and bars. Rooms were very clean, large, comfortable. Great little kitchen area with fullsize fridge in the room. Firness center well maintained and nice. We will stay again.

Awesome experience! I’m BIG on customer service and they nailed it! Prior to arrival I received a text confirming details of my stay. They have a VIP chalk board for guests with your name that makes you feel special. Harmony checked me in and was fantastic. She was patient, kind and knowledgeable. I was able to check in early from a long flight and prepare for the conference I was attending at the convention center. A plethora of local restaurants to choose from. Homeless are around but unavoidable. Felt safe with key card access to the hotel. My room was clean and quiet, it had a kitchenette area that was a plus. Will definitely return next time I’m in San Diego.

The resort is in a great location near downtown San Diego. The resort is very clean, The units are updated. The neighborhood feels safe to walk at night and day. Staff is helpful and friendly. Hot coffee in the morning is served in the lobby.

We had a good room although they have the community shampoo and conditioner which were empty to start. If you’re looking for a restful stay this isn’t it. It is VERY LOUD at night if you’re in the front. We could hear talking and partying all night long. If you enjoy that type of thing, then party on! Staff were amazing! We got a lot of freebies which is always fun. Not their fault it’s loud, it’s just the area.
