I thought the pool was very nice. The property is also nice and clean. The staff was very helpful in helping us get a reservation for dinner at the last minute of the weekend.

The pool was amazing!!! Our room was a great spot after a day of enjoying the beautiful Cape May area!!

Cute property. not by the beach but a 10 minute uber ride. nice to stay if you want quiet accommodations after spending time at beach restaurants and bars. Beautiful pool area. Nice to start or end the day from being at beach. Property manager Tony is a great host

The heated pool is exceptional. The property is deceiving from the front. The rooms are clean and pretty. They have cottages on the rear of the property and a beautiful pool with some grills av!ailable and table with benches--so cute. Oh and the beds are comfy.

Great place, clean newly renovated.

Overall the Cape Cottage Inn was nice. However, it was at a very busy intersection and extremely noisy. After we got to our room, we found long brown hair (2) on the toilet seat and didn't notice until we were ready to checkout, a black hair in the bed. Neither my husband or myself have brown or black hair!

Amazing! Super clean and quiet

The room had a musty smell to it. The floors in the bathroom were dirty as was one of the towels. It was a cute motel and the room was fine. Comfy bed.

The staff was kind, courteous, and attentive but the room was unkept. We, two blonde headed patrons, found multiple long, black hairs in our bed and in the bathroom. Our shower did not drain for the entire stay so we were showering ankle deep in used bathwater. I'm sympathetic to the efforts of managing and maintaining a beach hotel over an entire summer, but it was difficult to find comfort in the space

We have stayed at this property a few times, but this is the first time we are staying under new management. Our room was nice, new bathroom upgrade until we noticed our room was infested with flies, and not just one or two, way more. We would kill them and come back and see more, overnight we woke up to a swarm of them on each of the windows. Management basically told us we could switch room at 11pm at night - we were only there one night stay. Nonetheless all we received was an exterminator would be by in the morning, but that doesn't help us once we were gone. Some type of compensation, maybe a discount to our room would have sufficed. But instead we dealt with it. Highly doubt we will be back. OH and should mention their waterfall in the pool was not on or according to them waiting on a motor part for it. This was never mentioned in our booking. For over $200 stay very disappointed. You need to do better for your patrons.

Room felt sticky, we had to lay a path of towels for our shoes not to stick or our socks to not get dirty, as if it was "cleaned" with an old mop. The TV remote was sticky as well, we had to put it in a ziploc bag to use. Although we followed the rules for flushing, the toilet was very borderline to say the least. The bed was not comfortable. We stayed on the ground floor and could hear the upstairs walk and pipes bang everytime they used the shower.

Definitely a misrepresentation from beginning to end. Keyless entry was fine. The room was not very clean. Bathroom towels were stained and the sheets were like sandpaper. Where was the pool? Never saw it. Way way overpriced for the poor motel experience. Requesting refund - thank you.

Great place and quite the value; bonus you can book single nights. Only complaint is there were long black hairs all over the floors and found several in the sheets. Had to wipe my socks off….

The room was quite large with two king beds. Simple bathroom but clean. Needed better lighting options. Only one bedside lamp that didn't work. We never saw anyone at the front desk. The poolside was attractive with a waterfall feature. The cottages looked charming from the outside. We would go back there. It suited our needs.

We ended up in a room in the motel part or the property not the cottages. The motel was a little loud since it faces the street but not awful. The room must have been remodeled but it was done sort of average. The room was clean and had a good AC unit but the beds were very worn in and sank in the middle. Also the bathroom door was broken. We walked around back to the cottages and they looked really nice and the property grounds were very well kept. The pool area was also very nice. This property was very convenient to the cape may activities but was a car ride away from the hustle and bustle of town. I would stay again but would try a cottage.

Very & Comfortable. Best night sleep away from Home. Including 4 pillows per bed. As a frequent traveler - this will be our top stay venue when in Cape May!

Wonderful place, very cozy and comfy.

It was a quick stay. Only two issues: key code didn't work so we had to get a key; the dresser with mirror was nice but no room to stand in front of it.

Clean, easy to work with. Walls and ceiling are easy to hear through especially when someone is walking above you.

Spent too much money on an average hotel room. Do not get a room on the ground floor if you don’t want to be up most of the night. You hear all the steps above you.

The beach aesthetic of the room was really nice. Room was clean but was lacking in some ways. Example…no coffee maker. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a hotel that didn’t have one. There were only 2 towels for my family of 4 (that included 2 women). I called the front desk for more and they only brought me 2 additional towels. In my experience, there are usually 2 towels provided PER GUEST. Not a deal breaker but inconvenient. Especially when paying close to $400 a night. Here’s my biggest complaint…the lack of electrical outlets for plugging things in like phone chargers. There was literally half of one accessible outlet in the whole room! It was in between the 2 beds and 1 of the ports has the lamp plugged into it. So if you wanted to use both ports you have to unplug the lamp. And if you slept on the far end of either bed you have no outlet for charging your phone at night. They had a beautiful vanity with a big mirror but no outlet. Which is very inconvenient if you have multiple people getting ready to go out for the night. My suggestion for the hotel is to add some more outlets, a Keurig machine for each room (they are so cheap now) a vending machine on property for basics like water and snacks and don’t be so tight with the towels. It’s a cute property that is clean and comfortable and I would stay there again but some minor changes would go a long way.

Faith was extremely helpful and accomodating, once we found our original room's AC unit was not turning off. She quickly found us another room (larger room) which turned out perfect! We loved staying there and highly recommend it. Easy to get to, convenient access to other areas of Cape May and centrally located.

After having arrived from a three hour flight and a one hour car ride with my daughter and grandchild, I get to the hotel and realize they never sent me a code to get in to my room as they said they would after I chef in onlin. I reached out to them by text letting them know this and when they finally responded they sent me a room number and a code that did not work. Again I sent another text, asking them to please help us because I was outside of the room with a baby and luggage, but they did not respond. We had to bring down our luggage again because we needed to go to a gas station to use the restroom. They finally answered after 30 minutes asking if I were able to get into the room, I responded saying how could I get into the room when the code does not work. 20 minutes after they sent another text with instructions on how to obtain a key of the room from a closet under the stairs. This whole experience was very scary considering we had never been in this area and unable to have access to our hotel with the baby at 12 AM.

minus the little hiccup with Hotels not sending me the code to get into my room and i had to call the number on the door(the lady i spoke to that owned the hotel was super nice and helped out alot ), everything about the stay was lovely..room was super clean, bed and pillows were very comfy, water pressure was excellent and the temperature stayed consistent, was very quiet even with the quests there.. definitely recommended to anyone looking for a stay in Cape May

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive both before and during our visit, which made everything so easy and stress-free. We stayed in the double room suite, which was perfect for our needs — it had two spacious bedrooms, a full kitchen, a dining table, a cozy living room, and two bathrooms. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The location was super central — most places we wanted to go were just an 8 to 15-minute drive away. The pool area was also a highlight, with plenty of tables and umbrellas for relaxing. This place also has cottages which are super cute. We truly have no complaints and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, whether you're traveling solo or with a family. Thank you so much for a great stay!

We were there for my daughter’s graduation from the Coast Guard and the manager was super friendly and helpful. We drove in from Philadelphia airport and we arrived a couple hours earlier than the check in time and since our room was ready she let us in our room early.

We were late in the evening to arrive and had trouble with our key code but gave them a call and it was resolved right away. The room was very clean and quiet. Definitely recommend.

Was very well located close to all our activities

Staff was very kind, the rooms were very clean, the cool temperature was much appreciated especially during those humid summer days. The proximity to beaches made the trip very convenient. Overall had a great time. Would love to come back and check out the private cottages next!

The hotel was perfect. A little farther away from the Cape May "downtown" which made it a little less congested. Decor is lovely beach-y theme and bed was super comfortable. Next time if we have longer, we'd love the adorable cottages.

Very clean and web pictures look like the actual room. A little loud at night since it’s on a busy road. Not walkable to any sites but it’s great value. Would stay again when visiting Cape May.

Isolated neighborhood

The Cape was perfect for our first visit to Cape May. Everything we wanted to see and do was within a 10-minute drive, depending on traffic. The room was clean and ready upon our arrival, parking was easy, and it had everything we needed for our little getaway. Thank you from R&C.

Close to the main area in Cape May. Only a few minutes by car to the beach, shopping & restaurants.

you are right on the road

We were looking for a place away from the downtown Cape May craziness but close enough to get to local restaurants and the ferry to Lewes. This place fits the bill. It is an older fixed-up hotel kept remarkably clean (we were not in the cabins). The only problem (other than the high seasonal costs of anything in Cape May) was that the nearby rail trail is not accessible by walking unless you want to take a chance along the busy road to the ferry. Otherwise, the place was just as we expected.

Just a weekend trip. I didn’t like that we needed to drive everywhere but the property is lovely…beautifully landscaped, pretty cottages, and so quiet. A perfect respite from the chaos of Cape May and Wildwood.

Great stay, comfortable beds, conveniently located to many things we wanted to do.

The only down fall we found was that there was no coffee pot in the room. Otherwise it was great.

Parking was great, rooms were clean outside was clean, nice basic room, shopping, and great food 8 mins away. No one cleaned room while we were away.. Maybe we’re were suppose to request it..?. Air conditioners filters were caked up with dust!

Room was very clean. Important to note that this is a digital check in. When we arrived at check in time (3:00), the office was closed. Through the text messages, I was told the code to check in would be sent at 3:30. Also, NO coffee on site anywhere.

Our rom door stuck everytime and had to be slammed shut, and apparently so did everyone else’s. We were awakened several times by slamming and banging doors. Walls are thin and it was noisy even in the off season. Road nose is a huge problem as well as bright exterior lighting that flooded into the room because of inadequate window treatments. Pillows were so think and hard and miserable. There is no coffee anywhere to be found on this property. Room was very clear so there was that.

This motel was very good. They did have coffee at the office but was made late. The room could have had a chair in it as it had plenty of room for one.
