Beautiful hipster like hotel with an amazingly cool lobby, smell and vintage look, modern rooms and bathrooms, awesome food and location in Utrecht, 15 mins from Utrecht central on foot along the canal or around, or 1 tram/train stop from Utrecht Central Station. You can rent bikes too. Must book here!

We had a lovely stay at this place! Super well connected to the city center (stating in front of the hotel to catch a bus or a train). You're there in 5 to 10 minutes. Spacious room. Lovely staff. Room with a view on the canal. They sell exit ticket for the secure and closed parking in front of the hotel. What more can you ask for? We can surely recommend!

Excellent hotel, in a fantastic location for exploring Utrecht. We found it to be very family friendly with games to play in the reception areas and we really enjoyed the tables canalside outside for eating/drinking. We felt safe, looked after and the hotel visually very cool. The breakfast options were 10/10 we will miss it! The evening restaurant food was fab with options for all tastes. Travelling as an Autism family we found the hotel to be super welcoming and inclusive.

Super fint hotel, parkeringsgarage lige overfor og man kunne vouchers til parkering i receptionen. Værelserne er ret små, men der er super fine forhold i loungen i stueetagen, som man kunne sidde og hygge sig i. Der var ikke super godt styr på morgenmaden i "rush-hour" men kom man indenfor den første time til halvanden, så var der masser af muligheder. Hotellet ligger i god afstand til downtown Utrecht, med flere fine spise muligheder i nærheden. Vi lejede cykler på hotellet - fantastisk måde at komme omkring i byen på og de fungerede helt fint. Eneste minus for mig var de hårde senge - men der er vist en smagssag...

Heel praktisch hotel, gelegen aan de rand van de stand tov station Vaartsche Rhijn. Is op 25 minuutjes wandelen langs de grachten en winkeltjes van hartje centrum. Tov het hotel is een parkeergarage waar het hotel mee samenwerkt, vraag naar info in het hotel. Nette stille kamers en vriendelijke service, enkel in Engels. Ontbijt is ok maar brood zou lekkerder kunnen.

Great hotel, funky and fun, the kids loved it! Lots of toys/games/remote control cars in reception. Great location, 5 mins walk to the edge of the centre. The breakfast was amazing! Hot and cold, doughnuts, all types of cereal, even a bloody Mary station! Would recommend for families. Staff also lovely.

Das Hotel befindet, sich in der Nähe der Innenstadt und ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ein großer Minuspunkt ist das Frühstück. Viel zu wenige Mitarbeiter kümmern sich darum, es ist chaotisch, die Tische sind schmutzig. Es wird viel zu spät nachgelegt. Insgesamt scheinen die Mitarbeiter des sehr jungen Teams schlecht ausgebildet zu sein und teilweise wenig engagiert. Schade, es wird viel Potenzial verschenkt.

Very clean, modern hotel which is very good value if you don't mind the absence of a wardrobe or the loudish, non-controllable aircon. The location is convenient and the price is low for Utrecht. It's right next to a station and a tram route and 5 minutes walk from the edge of the old town. The sound of the aircon bothered me but my wife didn't notice so I suppose it depends on your tolerance to background noise. It would have been nice to be able to turn it down or off but there are no controls in the rooms. The lack of a wardrobe didn't bother us but we were only there for 2 nights. If we'd have been there longer it would have been a pain.

Excellent location, comfortable, clean, and above all quiet - even after a week of staying there I was not disturbed by noise, my #1 concern when in a hotel. I specifically loved the lighting in the rooms. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I had the comparatively boring side for views, but I expect people on the canal side have a beautiful view to boot. There is basically no storage for clothing, be aware. There is also no phone to contact the main desk. Though they offer only body wash instead of bar soap, they do not provide a washcloth with which to use it. The bar and coffee service were convenient and unusual for me - American hotels are wildly overpriced and not appealing. Having espresso available right there was helpful more than once, and people reguarly hung out in the lobby in a way that I never see in the US, without question because it was an easy and inviting place to be. Service was mixed; some folks at desk were very friendly and helpful, others were pretty unhelpful/unkind for a traveller with questions rooted in intrinsically limited knowledge of cultural tropes. But that's to be expected anywhere. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Overall the hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is worthwhile. Proximity to the old quarter is decent, but having a bike definitely helps. Service was slower than it should be - we waited over an hour for a sandwich and salad the first day. On another day our room did not get made up until after 6:00 p.m. and only after I asked at reception. They claimed it was because we had the DND sign on the door, but that was only for 15 minutes to avoid being surprised in the shower (like happened the day before!). Overall I’d say the staff gave an effort, but need more training and clearer communication.

Great location and close to the train station. TV didn’t work, but we were moved to another which also had a better view. The only other problem has was on check out when a meeting room fee had been added to our, which we had not booked or used. This was then deducted from the bill.

Nice rooms, clean, big bathroom. Strange to have facilities in the bathroom for old people ( seating in the shower and a handle on the wall next to the toilet.... Friendly staff, but, the breakfast was a disappointment, being vegan, choises are limited compaired to the non vegans, but if you come 1 hour before the end of the breakfast time (9:30 am), it was very busy, very hard to find a place to sit, but also, bread to cut and fresh fruit bowl was gone, nothing left,we were too late.... That is in my opinion inexcusable, it means you didn't prepare for the amount of guests in your hotel. The next morning (Sunday) we got up at 7 to prevent this from happening again, it worked, but does not feel like a treat.... Pity there was no soy yoghurt.. Nice touch is the free water (with mint, lemon) and juices, coffee and tea, during the whole day. You can see the hotel from far and it's very close to the train station

Das Problem in dem Hotel ist das Frühstück. Zwischen frischem Salat finden sich auch noch Blätter vom Vortag. Das Rührei war kalt und das Tostbrot auch schon echt trocken. Allen in allem würde ich das Hotel für 1-2 Nächte wieder nehmen. Nur mit Sicherheit ohne Frühstück

This is a hip, charming hotel on a canal bank in Utrecht. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was clean and quiet. The in-room bathroom is very tiny, but it was still well-appointed. We opted for the hotel breakfast, which was an excellent decision. The food was delicious. The lavazza espresso machines did not disappoint. The pastries were fresh. There was even a self-serve Bloody Mary station and cheesecake on the weekend. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we are in Utrecht.

Perfect laid back hotel, clean, friendly and contemporary. All staff English speaking and area available to park our bicycles 🚲 reception area clean and quirky lots of interesting things for our 1 year old grandson 👦 The only downside, breakfasts very expensive 🤔
