Versante Hotel

Stayed 3 nights in October. Everything was perfect, except the in-room food ordering was a bit confusing (you need to scan a code on TV, and then order from your phone. It stuck at payment and didn’t go through for me). Rooms were modern and in mint condition. Beds are clean and cozy. The hotel is located between two skytrain stations, short walk to either. There’s an Asian grocery nearby and a lot of food selections in walking distance. Although very close to the skytrain, it’s very quiet in the rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle service was nice and you need to book it the night before.

Clean and attractive rooms, very nice outdoor pool and hot tub that are heated. We really enjoyed our visit and will stay again.

Always love staying at this hotel; very convenient if you plan to go to the Richmond night market. Staff are very friendly and the food at the Bruno restaurant was superb. Rooms are amazing and very spacious, love the tub and shower combo. Rooftop pool and hot tub is perfect; abit small but beautiful. Valet parking is $38 but if you park yourself in the lot, it’s only $30 for 24 hours. We definitely will be back!

Really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Pool was clean and relaxing. Great little gym onsite. We enjoyed our cocktails during happy hour at Bruno. Staff was wonderful. Free airport shuttle was a great touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; excellent transportation to and from the airport. All the little things in the room made a difference.

The room was spacious and exactly as shown in the photos, which I really appreciated. However, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The TV information mentioned that a different type of pillow could be requested, but when I called, the staff confirmed that they don’t have any other type and could only offer more of the same ones already in the room. That was disappointing and inconsistent with what was stated on the TV. The location was very convenient. The Capstan SkyTrain station is within walking distance, making it easy to get around the city. Pool & Jacuzzi: The pool and jacuzzi were excellent. The water was pleasantly warm, which was perfect since it was cold outside. My partner and I had the area all to ourselves, so it felt private and relaxing. Gym: The gym was simple but had all the essentials for a quick and effective workout. One small detail to keep in mind: if you accidentally turn on or leave the “Privacy” light on when leaving the room, housekeeping won’t clean it. We experienced that once, but I truly appreciated the printed note from the housekeeping manager explaining why — that level of professionalism stood out to me. During check-in, we carried our own luggage to the room; it would have been a nice touch if someone had at least offered help, especially since we arrived on our own and not through the airport shuttle. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Love the experience, pool, hot tub, gym and the room itself was amazing. The showers are great as well. Breakfast was really good. Only downside is parking which adds up if you are staying for a couple of days. This makes you consider other hotels as you can use this money towards an additional stay in the hotel itself but other than that everything was really amazing.

Please allow me to take you on this journey. You’ve just arrived at the hotel, pleasantly surprised to find a parking garage conveniently located right underneath. You park your car, feeling optimistic. But as you check in, you're told that parking isn’t included in the room rate — which was already quite pricey. Not only that, but you also need to go back down to the garage to pay for it separately. Still, you try to stay positive and say, “Okay, no problem,” and handle it. You head up to your room. At first glance, it looks nice. You start to feel better. You unpack, let yourself settle in, and decide to take a relaxing bath to unwind. But as you’re stepping out of the tub, you spot a used plastic bag on the bathroom floor — clearly not yours. Immediately, your heart sinks. You begin to wonder: if they missed something that obvious, how clean was the bathtub you were just in — completely bare, hoping to relax? You call the front desk. The staff member offers a quick apology, which is appreciated — but then adds that there’s nothing else they can do. No escalation, no offer to make things right. Just “we’ll make a note.” You ask if someone could at least come clean the room again, and they do send the cleaning crew. Now trying to move forward, you take another shower later that night. You reach for one of the fresh towels the cleaning crew left behind. But as you unfold it — you realize the towel is also unclean. At this point, you're just grossed out and incredibly dis

This is a gorgeous hotel that’s very clean. The bathroom is huge and the bed was super comfortable. The staff is very courteous and professional. We could hear some of the traffic from the highway but it wasn’t too bad.

The room and bathroom were pristine! Beautiful and unique layout. And platform is beautiful for a honeymoon stay. The only slight complaint I have is I mentioned I had a birthday stay. They gave me a small plate with pretty treats, as I’ve seen other hotels give me cake. But good for the price I paid. Very kind and accommodating too.

Super nice rooms. Noise from the road was incredibly loud, bring earplugs. Also had a weird high pitched ringing in our room. Staff was very accommodating.

Great Rooms, nice and close to airport, friendly staff, wonderful airport transfer for free. Close to a major train station. Good bar and restaurant. Well equipped gym.

Everything was top tier and great. Easy check in. Awesome rooms. Incredible shower/tub setup and bathroom. Great beds. The fastest TV guide I’ve ever seen. Incredible pool/hot tub area. Will be my hotel of choice near the Vancouver airport when I’m back.

Everything was amazing, the room was absolutely gorgeous and clean. The room was so fresh and the colors were bold and beautiful. An absolute dream of a hotel. I will never stay anywhere else anytime I have to stay near Vancouver. So conveniently close to the airport yet tucked away and quiet. Stunning floor to ceiling windows with amazing views, you can even watch the planes take off. I can't say enough good things about this place!! Highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. I am so happy to have found this hotel, it's definitely top shelf accommodations. The staff were so kind, accommodating, and helpful. If I could give this place 100 stars I would because they totally deserve it. I will be returning often. Thank you for such an outstanding experience and amazing stay.

There is nothing cookie cutter about the Versante. Beautiful and unique room with many convenient touches. Stunning bathroom with large tub and shower.

Very nice bathroom facilities. Comfy bed. Too many light switches. Very confusing. Sliding door to closet wouldn’t work. Pocket doors to bathroom didn’t work. No free movies.

My corner room had an amazing view and was beautifully decorated. Very spacious, clean. The bathroom was outstanding with a free standing tub in the shower room - also with a great view. Will definitely stay again.

Friendly, over-the-top service made it a most pleasant stay. Proximity to the airport made it a great choice. Lived the vibe, the cleanliness and comfort, and the amenities. Highly recommend!

Staff were amazing when I asked for help, the corner king room was spectacular, the food from Bruno for room service delicious, and the bed so comfortable. The difficulties for me were navigating self-parking, navigating the immediate area, multiple valet areas around the building with no one in front of Versante, and no help moving luggage (I had many bags) except for a caddy which had a wonky wheel but did help me get the job done, or help outside. I did get lost going around the block driving from self-park to valet which put me almost all the way to YVR terminal - Would highly recommend using GPS even if you’re circling the block. Overall, I’d recommend staying here knowing that staff are so kind and the facility is so visually fun. Oh! And heated bathroom floor!

Very helpful and professional staff who facilitated a quick check in and answered any questions during our stay. Valet parking took the stress out of finding a spot nearby. Room was very clean and unique, a breath of fresh air from the standard hotel room. Minutes alway from the outlet mall and countless places to eat. Definitely would stay again, highly recommended.

One of the front desk staff is very rude. I never see this kind of service at a hotel.

Great property, room was clean, spacious and well maintained. However, check in was not good because the room wasn’t ready on time. Staff was generally nice but I wouldn’t say it was 5-star service however it is a fantastic property.

The staff was amazing when we arrived. We were to return our rental vehicle and return by Uber but they offered to go with us and bring us back to the hotel. Was not expecting that at all! Staff was very pleasant and shuttle to airport was smooth and comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious but lacked privacy from the outdoor pool. While the outside area isn't the best, it's close to the airport, making it a great hotel before a flight.

Very clean and comfortable room, very close to the train station (not even 30 mins from downtown Vancouver) with good restaurant options and amenities around the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

No shops nearby middle of construction zone

Wonderful staff, comfy rooms, nice gym. Unattractive surroundings and not pedestrian friendly. You can walk (across several lanes of traffic) to a nice Italian restaurant and to Starbucks - you just have to be careful!

Really happy we were allowed to check in 4 hours early! The ensuite is out of this world—spectacular shower, so spacious, great lighting options! Unique decor. Room was clean and bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The area is developing so there’s quite a bit of noise and construction outside but it’s quiet enough at night. Courteous staff, especially our airport shuttle driver, and a really nice restaurant with attentive service at dinner (Bruno). We particularly loved the multitude of single gender neutral bathrooms on the second floor! Definitely a great hotel.

This is a very delightful hotel that has generous rooms with fabulous amenities. Usually stay at a Fairmont hotel at the airport but will book the Verisante again in the future. The Bruno restaurant is fabulous! The best meal we have had in years and we have sampled fine restaurants around the world. Great outdoor pool/hot tub and Gym.

Excellent modern hotel with great amenities (restaurants, fitness center and more) plus clean and very comfortable rooms. We enjoyed how easy the check in was, how friendly the staff was and that it was very quiet at night. The fact that a tasty breakfast was included was also a nice perk. Overall a 5 star stay and we will join again

I highly recommend this charming boutique hotel. We chose it for its convenient location near the airport, complimentary shuttle service, and competitive pricing compared to other nearby options. I would absolutely stay here again. The on-site restaurant was stunning, the service exceptional, and the food truly outstanding.

Gentleman at front counter on check-in was great. The room was nice and clean. The food at the restaurant was not good and the service was not to level one would expect. We had two sides and two mains with dessert. The sides were really good. The tomahawk chop was 3/4 fat. Not the usual cut used for tomahawks. Whenever we needed service we had to flag someone down. Bottom line nice room but way better places to eat for the money.

Beautiful hotel room. Loads of space. Very clean and new looking. Food in the restaurant was lovely but quite fancy.

The hotel is alright. It's not five star - in a terrible neighborhood by the airport. I would rate the stay better but their restaurant gave me food poisoning - I received pork that was completely pink and undercooked. Within seconds of taking the first bite I started to feel nauseous and just awful. The chef said "what do you expect, it's pork". Pork should be white, Sir. I'm surprised Forbes gave that terrible restaurant a nod.
