Room and bathroom are very (very!) small. Disappointed the hotel Onsen isn’t tattoo friendly still. Place was clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. There are many APA hotels in the neighborhood. Make sure you choose the one that fits you. Would recommend, but I’ll choose a different hotel brand for my next visit.

Very clean. Staff was friendly. Fresh towels were brought every day but trash was not taken out of rooms. We don’t know if we were supposed to leave it out for staff, but they are so thorough with explaining every nook and cranny that not mentioning it felt like they would have cleaned it. It piled up fast.

It was ok for sightseeing around Tokyo however the room was extremely small, no room one side of the bed and shuffling room the other side. We had to sit on the bed to allow the other person to get to the bathroom. Clean towels, robes, drinks provisions etc were put outside the room everyday even though we didn’t need them. We only used the towels and even if we just left the used ones out everything was left. We ended up with 6 clean robes before the cleaning day (room cleaned every 3 days). On rainy days umbrellas were provided free of charge which was very much appreciated. It is in the heart of Shinjuku so very lovely with bars and restaurants.

Great location. Accommodations are small, however, you’re in Tokyo, so sufficient. What was not so great was room climate contorls. The room was either too hot or too cold. You can adjust the room temp to a point but ultimately the hotel has full control. Aside from that, we would stay again.😁🇯🇵

The area was perfect for a tourist. Don Quixote was across the street, many restaurants and shops in the area. I didn’t not like the set up of the bathroom. The bathroom is slippery and elevated compared to the main room. I ended up slipping my last night which was not a good way to end my trip. The room is tiny but clean. I would recommend for a solo traveler but no more.

Exceptionally small room, not good for 2 people. Room temp could not be controlled in the room. Arrived in late March and could not heat the room. It was set to cool even though the outside temp was 10 degrees Celsius.

AC operation satisfactory.. Room cleaning daily outstanding. A big shout out to house keeper from Nepal fort her positive, professional and friendly attitude! Namaste! Before checking out we asked for help from the front desk concerning Airporter luggage pick up. The employee was not knowledgeable about the issue and we were helped to navigate the phone to succeed.. howerever..at one point the gentleman told my wife that usually the customers handle that themselves. I felt that was an inappropriate comment. If one does not know how to help.. one should get someone else to help the customer instead of saying that! Please don't be too harsh on the person responsible. : )

Longest check in period I've erer participated in. Mostly caused by having a completely automated system.with very little staff on hand to help with the faulty system. Other than that it was as expected. I suggest maybe show up a half hour early for check in and get to the front of a very crowded chaotic line.

Clean, no-frill property in the Kabukicho area of Shinjuku. Not a lot of amenities and the area is surrounded by host/hostess bars, with the occasional prostitutes soliciting on the street. Close to Korean restaurants and the Shinjuku Donquixote (less crowded than the one in Kabukicho). Walk to Shinjuku station is about 15 min and one will pass by many restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues along the way - definitely a more “colorful” side of the Tokyo night life. The rooms are clean and efficient. Everything needed is in the room. The small size of the room means that there are no closets or storage spaces, but the space beneath the bed is sufficient to store large luggage. In-room WiFi is fast and sufficient for working and surfing the net. Bathrooms are small but has a deep soaking tub and decent water-pressure shower heads. Overall the experience is fine and one gets what one pays for. Efficient use of space makes the small rooms easy to navigate and comfortable. For budget conscious travelers who enjoys the hustles and bustles of Kabukicho this is an appropriate choice.

Perfect location and Close to everything, The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and convenient stores, there’s a Tullys coffee shop just a walkable 10 minutes & a train station next to it. Other areas walking distance are Okubo park, the hospital, Kabukicho tower, Gracery Hotel ( Godzilla Head) taho building, and bus station.

The property was close to many stations. About a ten minute walk from the hotel. Very close to shopping areas in Shinjuku. The hotel was nice, cozy room, coin laundry, communal bath, respectful staff, nice restaurant on the first floor. Some buildings near the hotel are not family friendly. Better to stick to the main streets when finding your way around.

I stayed 5 total days, the room is small...but it works if your trip is short and you don't have a large suitcase. It's located about 15 minutes from Shinjuku Main Station, and 5-minute walk from Higashi-Shinjuku Station. Lots of food options, and close to the heart of Shinjuku. Great for a solo traveler/couple.

I only learnt after entering Japan that APA hotel rooms are small! The room was nice and had good facilities but we could hardly move around. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious - a combo of Japanese and western. There’s plenty to do in the area and nearby Shinjuku. There are a lot of APA hotels in the area too. Guest laundry room was super helpful to use during the summer.

Great accomodations. A 10 minute walk to metro. The breakfast is pricey at $15 but there is no alternative in the area - but the breakfast was very good. Dozens of eating establishments down the nearby allys but they are not open early.

The room was small (queen size), although this is not uncommon in Japan. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was particularly small, not much room for getting ready. Toiletries included which was a nice touch. The breakfast was often busy / crowded and there was much choice. There are a couple of supermarkets / family marts within walking distance.

Check in was un organized. Counter staff didn’t seem to know what was going on. So much confusion just to order a taxi. Restaurant for breakfast was expensive for what you got and again not organized. Rooms were small but I guess that’s normal for Tokyo.
