I paid for 3 nights parking which they had to refund because there wasn’t enough space - why sell more tickets than you have spaces?! Service in the bar was really slow - staff were new I assume - but everyone was friendly

Staff were friendly, room was very clean and comfortable. All communal areas clean and smart. The bed was also very comfortable and the room was mostly very quiet (save for some drunk guests who decided to sing in the corridor at around 1.30am!)

The room good size the bathroom was awful other guests or cleaning staffs hairs in the sink and bathtub, the handles and shower rail so dirty and rusty i brought my own cleaning products to disinfectant the whole room The iron is crap the ironing board and cover was disgusting bring your own if you visit.. Its hard to understand how this hotel gets great reviews they are more exspensive than other Swindon hotels, the lift was out of order as for the ice buckets the only nice way of putting it was disgusting this could be a great hotel if rooms were checked and thoroughly cleaned the toilet was so tiny to use .

Incredibly good value for money. Spotlessly clean, large rooms, comfy beds, terrific breakfast buffet, good bar. Only minor gripe was a lack of staff in the bar area on Sunday after breakfast. Took a while to get a coffee, then staff dissappeared again. If you're staying with kids, note you can have 2 adults & 2 kids under 12 in one room, with a king sized & queen sized bed. We didnt pick up on this & booked adjoining rooms. They delivered a activity/snack bag for the kids to the room, nice touch. Despite the minor gripes we were very impressed with the hotel & would recommend.

The hotel in general was nice, the main issue was the room I was in (313) had a large gap underneath the door leaving a lot of light to come in from the hallway making sleeping difficult

The hotel is clean, which is really lovely to see as it is very rare to have a clean hotel nowadays. The only downside was the air conditioning was not working as it was set to automatic mode where I couldn't control it. I had to wait a while to see if this could be fixed, but eventually I was moved to another room where it worked fine, so no issues. The only thing I would say is that it kept turning itself off every couple of hours so I had to keep getting up to turn it back on again. It would be much better if the air con is fully controllable in each room, especially for people like myself who suffer with asthma. However, the staff were really friendly and helped as much as possible.

Convenient hotel, with great staff. Room was a good size and the bed was really comfortable, and everything felt clean. Major downside was the complete lack of soundproofing, which meant I could hear phones ringing and people laughing in other rooms, which really makes you feel like you have no privacy, and every noise in the corridor from 6am onwards wakes you up. Also lack of shower pressure - it was more difficult than it should have been to do basic things like wash shampoo out of my hair. Effort has obviously been made to give the main areas a facelift, but the rooms feel tired and in need of some TLC. However, within the limits of a tired hotel, it is managed well, and I would on balance be ok to stay there again.

A pleasant enough stay for the price paid, but for this to be a 4* hotel a lot needs doing. The rooms are run down in some areas (paint scuffed, dents in doors, minor interior damage) and no safe or fridge (which I feel should be compulsory for a 4* hotel) The room itself was spacious, large comfy bed and I had a good nights sleep. There was an ironing board and heated mirror in the bathroom. Shower was good, bathroom a little cramped though. Good paid parking at the back of the hotel. £6/night is a fair price.

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from Swindon Railway Station. It's a large building standing at a road junction. I've stayed in larger rooms at Leonardos Hotels elsewhere but it was the same good quality with satisfactory fixtures. The bed was firm and I would have liked some softer pillows. The room was very quiet with little noise outside the hotel or within the building. The buffet breakfast was varied with an array of tasty items including well cooked sausages and also poached eggs cooked to order. The staff I met were pleasant and helpful and I would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel couldn’t do enough for us. We visited as a group of friends celebrating our friend’s special birthday. We were able to check in early, they looked after our cake for us (as it was an extremely hot day) & even gave our friend a complimentary birthday drink! Thank you for making it a lovely stay!

Check in was good, 1812 bar staff and breakfast staff were good. Manager was not helpful when I had to complain for the second day about plumbing issues (and then electrical ones as well) The noise has definitely increased from previous stays. I think the club side of business is now seems more important than the hotel side. I had dirty water coming back up the drains, dangerous electrical issues

Overall our stay was very pleasant with no issues. We stayed for 1 night with my partner and our daughter. The check in was quick and easy, I saw people complaining for the parking in previous reviews but I think it is nothing to complain. The hotel is at really good location and £6 for parking/overnight is pretty reasonable. Very nice and stylish inside with great bar and restaurant. The bed was comfy and the room sizes are pretty good. The only downside I would say is that you can hear the cars from the street and overnight they were couple of guys with fast cars revving and driving fast down the road. The breakfast was good you have full English breakfast with variety of pastries and cereals and some fruits. Nice coffee and fresh juices are offered too. People at the reception are very helpful and friendly. I forgot my watch in the room when we left and they post it to me with next day delivery you won’t get that at many hotels. Amazing staff honest people and very helpful. I am impressed definitely would recommend it for others who are considering for staying over. Thank you

Really nice hotel. But a bit of a pain to get to from the railway station with all the road and regeneration work going on. Why whoever is doing the work do not open the pavement area up at weekends is beyond me. No one working. But having to go out of the way to get to the hotel. But that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Hotel is on a busy road but from inside the room you can not hear the traffic It’s on the outskirts of town but easy to get a cab. Hotel receptionists were helpful and friendly and efficient on check in and out and when I needed to book a cab. The room was clean and tidy and would stay again

Stayed for one night in standard room. Have previously stayed in this hotel twice, but in their deluxe/superior room which was in a much better condition. Good choice of breakfast. Started clearing up breakfast 10.15 when breakfast is supposed to close at 10.30. Room good condition, comfortable bed, bathroom dated and bath had marks in it, so didn't use it. Staff helpful and friendly. Paid car park £6 for 24 hrs. About 10 mins walk to the station. Close proximity by car to Swindon Designer Outlet. Town centre/dining/cinema about 7 mins walk. The area felt unsafe late evening if walking.
