Naumi Hotel is a clean and decent boutique hotel. They have self check-in as well as a few staff at the reception to assist, where necessary. The service is professional and polite but not warm. The room itself (on 6th floor) is clean and spacious, with a small kitchen sink. But the shower area is way too small (and I'm a petite Asian woman) and the drain cover is rusty. I made the mistake of looking up at the vent of the exhaust fan above the shower area and felt really uncomfortable at the accumulated dust/dirt in it. On the last 2 days of my 5 night stay (a Friday), the one and only lift broke down and stayed damaged till Sunday when I checked out. The hotel staff came to help with our luggage on the day we checked out. But even though there is a lift the adjoining Naumi Apartments, it went only to the fourth level. So we had to climb up and down 2 levels for a few days. I'm not sure if people with knee joint issues might be able to manage in such circumstances.

Great location, grandchildren enjoy the breakfasts , and the treats they can help themselves too. Spacious rooms, comfy beds , the showers are another storey, no matter what little door is used they leak all over the floor , a very poor design . The kids live the pool although pretty cool and a shame the spa wasn’t in working order .

I chose to pay a premium to stay here because of the pool and hot tub, but sadly the pool area was a bit gross - grubby, slightly murky water and the hot tub was "temporarily" out of action for repair, but looked like it had been in that state for a while with a missing tile and filthy inside. I only swam once in a 2 night stay where i normally would swim twice a day. The room was good, bed was a bit hot due to the latex mattress. Shower was just OK. Great location but not worth the extra 30% over other premium hotels in the City, in my experience

Fun place to say. Lovely staff. Easy parking. Great location. Needs some cutlery and plates. Pool was not heated. Spa under maintenance oh well next time. You have to go if you love bold colours, patterns and floral.

The room was very clean, colorful and had amazing views! The heated towel rack was an extra added touch although the bathroom was small and not much counter space. The coffee was great and the staff was very helpful. The only issue we had was that they ran out of parking so we had to park elsewhere.

From a superficial view the hotel was amazing. However, the cups in the cupboard had not been washed, the shower did not have proper seals which made the bathroom floor get wet easily. The lights system sometimes worked and sometimes did not. The beds were very easily moveable which made them separate from the bed head easily while sleep or sitting on the bed. The positive is how amazing the staff are and the attitude they bring to their work every day

Great location, clean, warm, and comfortable with interesting decor and available parking. It has everything you'd expect, the staff are friendly but not in your face, and I liked the eco-friendly aspect. Parking is super close and reasonably priced for its location. Only small grizzle is the shower which was tiny and had a showerhead that was installed for folk taller than me. Still totally functional, though

The room was amazing, super fun decor, very spacious, wonderful service at front desk. We had an absolutely wonderful sleep. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’ve had since arriving. I only have a couple of suggestions: heated pool, clean up the pool area. Plus, the shower in our room was…well intentioned. However, there were several shortcomings. The water goes everywhere bc the divider falls short and the sprayer shoots everywhere. Also you have to get wet to turn the shower for some reason.

Overall a good experience. Staff were friendly and the room decor was great. Detracting from our stay was an absolute fiasco with the parking. Despite calling ahead to check if there was parking, we got there an hour later and it had booked out. The alternatives close by meant shifting the car by 8am which none of the staff seemed to know. The one they recommended only allowed for a maximum of 12 hours so we couldn’t park there. Ended up parking miles away on Tory Street. Strange bathroom for the huge room - shower over bath with a tiny little screen which meant water went everywhere. There’s room for a larger bathroom with a walk in shower too. Also pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper - noise from Cuba Street went quite late

Upon entering the crazy print work in the lift and hallways, wondering what the room would be like. Entering this beautifully appointed room, with the largest TV I have seen and the view over Wellington stunning. The room was large, bed very comfortable. Definitely staying again

I loved the arty vibe of the place, we wanted to stay here for so long, comfy bed. Shower was rather small. The room said sound proof but wasn’t, the people next door were partying all night, was rather loud.

While we love staying at this hotel (our 2nd time), things we didn’t like about this room were, it was next to the gym (could hear people running on the treadmill at night and early in the morning), it had a shower over the bath which splashed water all over the floor and the toilet paper was 1 ply. The kitchen felt like it was a bit lacking. No cutlery apart from teaspoons, no microwave or toaster. Just felt like last time it was pure luxury but this time the extras felt like they were being skimped on. But beautiful decor and clean. So spacious and beds so comfortable.

Not the best experience. We were told the elevator was inoperable and we could cancel our reservation as soon as we walked in. Then right after the representative mentioned another elevator that was operational. This is not a very welcoming first impression. We had to ask for our VIP perk. And no upgrades or early check in was available. The room was good sized and clean. But the extra toilet paper was located in the closet. Who would look for it there when you needed it? And on the second day, the room wasn’t refreshed even by 2pm. We had to ask for service. I wasn’t impressed by this hotel at all. Very disappointing experience.

L'hôtel est très design et bien situé. La rue Cuba Street est très vivante et regorge de bonnes adresses pour le déjeuner et le diner. Le bar Lola Rouge est très agréable et les personnels sont aux petits soins. Les chambres sont spacieuses, en revanche la salle de bain est basique pour un hôtel qui se veut d'un certain standing et la literie pourrait être meilleure. En outre, le personnel de la réception était fort peu chaleureux et accommodant. Mais dans l'ensemble mon séjour à l'hôtel était satisfaisant.

At this price point, this place is underwhelming. Just to cite an example, I arrived early at about 11ish in the morning, I am ok if the hotel does not offer early check-in but the staff was cold. When I asked for luggage storage, she opened the door to a room and gestured me to put it in myself. My luggage wasn’t tagged so anyone could go in and take it away.

Zentrale, trotzdem ruhige Lage für einen Spaziergang durch die Stadt oder an den Hafen bzw. das Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Restaurants und Geschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe. Nur ein kurzer Weg zur Cable Car Station, um an dessen Endstation einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Stadt und Bucht zu haben und über den schön angelegten botanischen Garten ins Hotel zurückzukehren. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich, insbesondere Anita an der Rezeption, aber auch das in der Bar. Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden.

We were in a habitat room which was really big, comfy beds, wardrobe to store our bags and good bathroom. There were minimal cups and cutlery in the kitchen area. The design of the rooms and hallways were fabulous. Bar and restaurant great, although breakfast ended at 9.30am should be extended out. The girls on reception were young and nice enough, provided basic minimal customer service which comes with that generation. Apart from that we enjoyed out stay.
