REM Rivergate Garden Pool Signature Apartments

We were not able to check in when arriving and were told to wait outside the building for almost an hour. The ac was leaking onto the sofa bed. There were roaches in the shower. The pool was not available.

Our stay at REM Rivergate was off to a good start with detailed messages from the team, inclusive of who to collect our access keys from, where to find free wifi, transportation and air-conditioning instructions. Upon opening the room door, we were horrified to say the least. There were bugs crawling on the floor and in the fridge, stains on the furniture upholstery, broken cabinets and doors, and the overall look was comparable to a budget student dorm-room. I told the staff of our disappointment and they were extremely sorry and immediately gave us a new room which was much nicer and made the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. However, the bathroom door didn’t close which made for a small discomfort. The building is in a good location with amenities near-by. The pool is beautiful and has an amazing view however something that should have been included is that there are no towels provided for the pool, and to use the pool, your appartment host must meet you there and sign you in which was a bit strange.

Very bad experience, DO NOT STAY HERE!! If i could i would give 0/5 stars. We booked a room for four people, and it was so small we could barely fit. When we arrived there was no duvet on the bed, and when we asked they said they would give it to us the next Day…. When if finally arrived it was a used, dirty blanket and they absolutely refused to give us a duvet cover, even though there was one on the main bed so they obviously had them. We communicated this several times and they were rude and didn’t listen. The host were difficult and uncomfortable to communicate with, the toilet wouldn’t flush at times and the closet was completely broken and unusable. The aircondition was broken when we arrived. They did send a technician while we were out all Day, and when we came back our door was unlocked with a key in the keyhole. Anyone could have walked in and taken our valubles like passports etc, and it had been left like that all day… you also need permission to use the pool which they make difficult, and the people working there are not nice. There is no sunbeds that are in the sun at the pool, they are all in the shadow and they Get very mean if you try moving the chairs.

Location was great. Very central and easy to travel. The rooftop pool is amazing.

Apartment was fine enough for a short-term rental. Our main issue was that accessing the pool was a pain since it required the suite owner to check us in at the pool each time we wanted to use it, meaning they had to actuallycome to the pool and sign us in before the guard would let us use it. We were also informed that the pool was only open until 5:00, which was inconvenient since most tours etc didn’t finish before that. Otherwise, I had booked the location thinking it was just across a short bridge to the downtown core not realizing that crossing the bridge would be so unpleasant due to the insane traffic in the city (in Vietnam, really). It’s a far cry from strolling over a bridge in, say, Paris, so set your expectations accordingly.

Perfect accommodation right in the center of town. Close to shopping and many interesting places. Good pool area.

The key cards to the apartment were not in the mailbox that the email for the instructions to check in were sent to us. The contact did immediately place us into another apartment. Unfortunately, the a/c units in the apartment were not cooling properly and by morning, one unit in the bedroom was leaking enough water to flood the floor. There was a strong mildew odor in the master bathroom. The walls in the master bedroom could use a good scrub and cleaning. Still a good value for a large family. Luckily, we only needed to stay one night but the contact manager did offer us another apartment. We stayed in apartment 28.10.

The property is fair, not as nice as in photos. But the odour from the sewer came from the drainers’ openings was terrible, even I tried to block them by garbage can. Internet wifi was not working. Called for service but problem was not fixed until leaving (after 4 days).Communication is not responsive. Property is quiet and grocery stores are close by.

Great location and sparking clean

I was promised a fitness centre and arrived at the property to find out this was not the case. To use the pool you had to get someone to meet you at the pool . Property had a big issue with ants . Also it was advertised as a serviced apartment. No coffee or milk provided . I had to ask for water . I had the apartment serviced once in 4 days . I wasn’t happy with check in as it was extremely unorganised with many mistakes with the cards to the room even after asking for everything to be organised. Very disappointing.

We had three people, which was selected on Expedia. We were given two towels and less than a half a roll of toilet paper. Charging ports didn't work. Art was falling off of the wall. Hair was on the bedspread. Several attempts were made to get cleaning done, house shoes, toilet paper, towels, and nothing was done. The property itself has very large red posters saying no short term rentals, and clearly this is being operated as such. As a platinum member of Expedia, this was absolutely unacceptable.

Rooms weren’t very clean. One bathroom absolutely stunk and wasn’t useable.

Rooms were nice and clean, fast internet, I was able to work remotely. Property was close to everything.

I recently stayed at this location, and while the space appeared much larger in the booking photos, it turned out to be quite a bit smaller in person. Despite this, I had a very pleasant stay. The location is fantastic, and the host was incredibly charming and welcoming. Check-in and checkout were a breeze, with a friendly and accommodating process. The hotel provided all the necessary facilities we needed, making the stay comfortable overall. A good choice for those who value location and hospitality

Whe we where 5 minutes away from our stay, we contacted the manager they said out room was not available and could offer the 2 bedroom room and a 1 bedroom room for our family so we got separated from our kids and where on different levels, we where also not told that out room key could not get us up to where they where staying so we then got stuck in the elevatoer was very scary, our room was dirty and ripped wall paper air con did not work properly, we would never recommened this place very unreliable and unsafe apartment building, stay near cafe apartments it is a nicer area

Perfect spot—close to restaurants and the train station. Walked everywhere. The room was small, but we didn’t spend much time in it anyway.

It is not an easy one to check in where the security won’t let us wait inside the apartment, waiting outside for someone to finally come down & show us to the level & a bit tight for family accommodation and unfortunately we have to take Grab from this hotel’s location to everywhere.

Lobby desk staff unfriendly, unwilling to assist with questions. Pool staff unfriendly also. Would not stay here again.

Before we even got to the apartment they wanted money from us but we already pay through this website . On arrival they could not access our room so we were moved to a rather inadequate one to say the least. Whilst out sight seeing the next day we received a message informing us they had moved our room which in fairness was slightly better ,but they had thrown our belongings into our cases leaving our toiletries and clothes hangers behind which we never got back. Coming and going at all hours even though there is plenty of security which is more than needed as there are plenty of unsavory people hanging around at all times. Whilst getting ready to leave a gentleman knocked on the room and said are you still here two hours before check out. The rep was supposed meet us to take care of our cases as we had five hour wait before the airport after numerous calls no answer and security said we must wait outside and post the room/door access card in the box with no access to the toilet and the weather was on the turn which was not good due to the area. So with no choice we had to take a taxi to the airport and spend our remaining time there far from ideal when you have twenty hours of travelling ahead of you too say the service was poor is an understatement.

The staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. The security guard is also very nice and supportive. The window view is nice.

All were excellent. The staff is very kind. They picked me up from the airport and gave me a free sim card. They advised me where it would be better to exchange money. Top service. Thank you very much 👍.

It’s Good , thank you, but if you are arriving at night , please contact your host a day or hours before you arrive , so they can meet you at your arrival or give you a code so you can enter the building, I saw some ppl stuck outside

Check in was a bit confusing at first but convenient location that easily access city centre, room cleanliness did not really meet my standard and expectation but overall experience was not bad.

location was good, a bit far from the city, but there were a lot of cafes and restaurant surrounding. If you just want to relax at one place, this is a good one, but for someone want to explore Ho chi minh city, this might cost them a bit extra $ for taxi to travel around

Right in the center, near the market, near the park, when you go out the door there is a lot of food for sale There is also coffee for sale for guests to sit in front of the hotel and watch the street
