This is a fantastic hotel. It's a little bit far from Ikebukuro station (15 minutes on foot) but it's worth the slight hike. The room is small (as expected for Japan) but the amenities are absolutely amazing. There are just so many freebies given by the hotel, including free ramen and popsicles at night, free Yakult in the morning, free juice in the onsen rooms, free laundry wash (you do have to pay to use the dryer but it's only 100 yen for 20 minutes so it's not expensive at all), and of course, free coffee and toiletries. The onsen is amazing here. They have three spacious baths - a black water bath, a rotemburo (outdoor bath), and a cold bath. The hotel even has an extensive manga room! It's no wonder Dormy Inn is as popular as it is in Japan. I'm definitely going to stay at a Dormy Inn again!

This is a great hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms and general facilities are great too. The hotel onsen is wonderful after a days sightseeing (or to help ease the effects of jet lag). A perfect base to explore Tokyo.

Convenient location less than one block from Sunshine 60 and two blocks from the Sunshine City entrance. Absolutely incredible buffet breakfast: Japanese, Chinese and continental. There's also free ramen at night. Very comfortable and just loved the onsen (spa) area. There's free ice cream in that area at night and free milk drink in that area during the day.

이케부쿠로 역에서는 좀 멀긴하지만 호텔까지 가는 길에 상점가가 많아서 재미있습니다. 당연하지만 직원들이 모두 친절해서 좋다고 느껴야하는 세상이 되었네요. ^^;; 엘레베이터 천장에 먼지 거미줄? 같은 게 있었고 객실 공기청정기를 작동했더니 냄새가 너무 심각해서 청결도는 별하나 뺐어요. (청정기를 껐더니 냄새가 안나는 매직) 도쿄에서 천연 온천탕을 무료로 이용할 수 있어서 행복했고 남녀 시간이 정해져 있지 않아서 편리했어요. 목욕 후에 무료 아이스크림과 요쿠르트는 극락! 무료 세탁기 유료 건조기 이용이 공용/여성전용 나뉘어져 있어서 기분이 좋았구요. 침대 매트리스는 시몬스입니다. 로비가 있는 1층에는 상시 이용 커피머신과 얼음머신이 있고, 15층에도 얼음머신과 전자렌지가 있어서 편리해요. 객실은 10대 후반 딸과 둘이서 사용했는데 도쿄에서 이 정도 크기의 객실이라면 꽤 괜찮다고 느꼈습니다. 제가 머무는 동안 호텔 이용객중엔 일본인들이 가장 많았던 것 같고, 그 다음이 중국인과 한국인이었던 것 같아요. 밤에 무료로 제공하는 소바는 꼭 드셔보세요. 너무 잘 지내서 행복했습니다

We had a great stay and visited the onsen every day/night and enjoyed the ‘already paid for but didn’t seem so” yakult in the morning and ice-cream at night before/after the onsen soak. Half-portion ramen was also available if you’re hungry for some warm comfort food on a cold winter night or before you hit the sack. A rather disappointment was the cleanliness of the room carpet where many strands of hair of all lengths and colors were uncovered every day and night. Not sure if it had ever been vacuumed. Breakfast was one of the best we had in the past 13 days and 4 different hotels.

Thank you to the Dormy Inn Ikebukuro for a great stay! 😃 The staff treated us so well! The property was clean & well maintained with awesome amenities. They had a complementary coffee station in the lobby & a nice welcome treat in the room fridge upon arrival. Decent sized room compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan. But the natural hotspring was absolutely the best amenity! This made our stay extra relaxing after hectic days out & about in this busy city. Thanks Dormy Inn for a wonderful stay!

Overall, the inn is excellent but the room w a full bed size for 2 was tight. No where to really spread out and unpack luggage. However, we managed. This room would be adequate for 1 person. We could not get a larger room as the inn was fully booked.Reccomend booking a larger room for 2 people.

We loved this hotel! The onsen was awesome and so relaxing. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The only concern we had was that the pillows were so hard and not comfortable to sleep on. Other than that, this is a great hotel! It is so close to Sunshine City, a huge mall in Ikebukuro.

晚上十一點多才抵達飯店，櫃檯人員橋本先生好像是新進員工，不是太熟悉checkin 流程，大概半小時才拿到房卡，但親切禮貌，建議老員工多協助新同事，客人就可以早一點到房間休息。地點距離車站大概走14分鐘路程，推行李箱的話會有點辛苦。但是一向很喜歡Dormy Inn的飯店，有浴場、泡完後有冰棒、有夜間拉麵、豐富早餐，所以還是推薦給去池袋的人考慮入住。

Laundry is available inside the hotel - Free wash, coin dry. The hotel can store your luggage prior to checking in, and they can help you coordinate luggage forwarding service through Yamato Transport (for a fee, cash only). Convenient location if Sunshine City is your main destination, although the walk to Ikebukuro Station is a bit far (about 15 minutes). Our party did not use their hot springs but you should definitely check it out.

The breakfast was great, and the facility had a great sauna. The room condition is old but pretty clean. The only big uncomfortable thing was that when I checked in, some of the staff women who spoke English didn't help or explain at all. She pointed at the check-in machine even though they had an information sheet about the hotel. She didn't tell me, looked angry, and made me uncomfortable, but I saw her smiling at a Japanese guest by that time. However, other staff members are pretty kind and pleasant.

離池袋站34-35出口，要行去酒店大約18分鈡，酒店去sunshine city行5分鈡,旺中帶靜，中間點有好多食店及商店，夜晚宵夜亦有很多選擇，多數去日本我都會揀dormy inn,因早餐非常豐富，夜睇O21:30-23：00亦有免費宵夜拉麵，浸完溫泉早上有益力多，晚間有雪條供應，但呢間dormy inn增設日本漫畫房，任睇漫畫非常貼心，漫畫迷可選擇在此住宿
