It's a nice hotel to spend the night or few nights. Rooms are nice, pool its big and clean. I had trouble with the AC in the room and staff were hesitant to switching us, and prefered to check the unit, a couple of hours went by and then they switched us. After that bad first impression, everything was in order.

I really like this hotel and I hope the manager sees this and takes it into account. I’ve stayed here at least four times, and each time there has been an issue with the room. It has leaked when it rained, the bathroom mirror light didn’t work, there were bugs in the room, or there was mold in the bathroom. There’s a lot to love about this place. The grounds are always spotless. The lawn is beautifully maintained, and the pool is consistently clean. The rooms are actually nice minus the things I mentioned. The food is excellent, and the staff are very kind. But they need to do a better job keeping up with the rooms. If maintenance doesn’t improve, the overall quality will start to decline.

The property was well maintained and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. It’s walking distance to the nearby plaza and restaurants. The gym area was also well maintained and clean. They do require a $50 per day deposit up front but it is refunded if not used.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, stores, banks, etc. The staff is lovely, super friendly and helpful. One of the biggest assets they have, in my opinion, is that their pool is open 24/7, that was a plus for my family and I. The pool is also the most perfect depth, temperature and size. The highlight of our stay was our waiter Kiuston and his crew, him and his team really made us feel like family. We looked forward to spending time by the pool because of them. I hope to be back soon.

Fantastic hotel, staff are wonderful. Went for my birthday, clean hotel, lovely big pool, eateries close by. Got around using Uber but plenty of taxis too. Bavaro beach 10 min taxi drive away. Airport 20mins away. The staff are truly amazing here. Are hotel lunch which was delicious. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. Nothing was too much. Relaxed on the cabanas. Coco bongo is walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel

Christian the Bartender was Great. The Girls who waited and Bartended acted like they were doing us a favor. actually leaving the Bar to clean tables and just helping other people because she didnt want to make a drink on the menu. House keeping Never brought new towels every day. We had to call everyday to get towels. Building was Beautiful. front deck was very helpful. food was very good Drinks very good. Prices were very reasonable. The area had No Beach but a short taxi ride. Would stay again.

Our room is as dirty from the time we arrived. Our walks were dirty and sheets. We called down to the front desk and I was told they would send someone up. We had to call several times before they sent someone up. The finally sent someone who changed the sheets. Noone ever came to wipe down the walls.

This hotel should be renamed to the “AC-less Hotel” because the air conditioning is non-existent. Seriously, I’ve had cooler air hit me walking passed a stranger on the street on a 100 degree day. When we let the desk know, they sent a guy up with an infrared thermometer which he aimed inside the air duct. Of course it’s going to be cool INSIDE of an aluminum air duct! We asked cleaning staff and they said every room is like that. We even heard a neighboring guest get into a yelling match with an employee about it and demand to be moved to a room on the lower level. The lobby is the same way, VERY warm! Other than that, it was decent but we didn’t spend much time there nor use any amenities.

Hotel condition is very good and clean. Buffet breakfast has a good selection. The only drawback is tthe air condition in the room which you cannot set at the temperature you like. Room temperature is constantly around 74-75 degrees Fahrenheit which is no comfortable.

Great hotel. Clean, spacious, excellent food, and service. Great pool and very safe area with several shopping and dining spots within walking distance. A few issues with room. A couple lights and plugs didn’t work. The bathroom door doesn’t provide any privacy. The shower let’s water out onto the floor.

Absolutely loved it, Maria at the front desk and Ruth from the bar area, oh I can’t forget the tall gentleman at the front desk he was Awesome. Funny part is the staff was so affable, I met a Haitian guy named Ben, he was super cool and the place was extremely clean.

Poor service!!! Would never come back here again. Room is small and the two queens bed is more like two double bed! The receptionists was rude and Expedia charged my taxes for 6 people when I only booked for two! Unbelievable! When I told the receptionist he was like there’s nothing he can do and was not willing to compensate in any shape or form. The hotel also have hidden charges I booked for breakfast and they charged me for coffee. They said coffee is extra charge! What kind of hotel charges extra for drinks in buffet when I already paid for it. Super rude will never come again

After spending a night with no air conditioning in the rooms and the customer service telling us that they knew about it…we got no discount, no reimbursement or no options to solve the situation. They just told us that as we booked through Hotels.com we were not entitled to get any sort of compensation even though it was completely AC Hotel fault and the booking platform had nothing to do with it…UNBELIEVABLE! It just made no sense.

We got 4 rooms in the fourth floor, we got in there and told them there was no air conditioning, they told us they knew it but there was no other room available…for some reason they didn’t tell us in advance. The heat was unbearable. When we came down for checkout they didn’t want to reimburse us as we booked through Hotels.com which made no sense. Really a disappointing experience…definitely never coming back.

Great location, walking distances to great restaurants, downtown and about 15-20min drive to the beaches. Our stay was very pleasant, great staff, room was comfortable. My only complaint would be our room was not as cool as I would like to sleep at night. Otherwise, highly recommend.

The AC Marriott Punta Cana is a luxurious hotel, in the middle of paradise! The room was comfortable, and fancy. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful to me as a tourist visiting from another country. It’s a convenient walk to restaurants and shops. The Ribeye at the AC and the breakfast buffet were delicious! So many healthy options to choose from. I recommend the AC Marriott if you are visiting the DR for the first time!

check in was fantastic, bartenders were great, the rest of it was rubbish. Noisy rooms could hear everything next door and in the hall ways to all hours in the morning, food was terrible and very expensive for wht it was , would not stay here ever again.
