Hotel in great location. Staff were great on arrival (Matteo/Davide/edoardo) and always friendly and accommodating! We were in the main building and very happy with our room. Rooftop jacuzzi was closed during our stay but had daily access to the underground pool/jacuzzi’s/sauna etc. Roof top terrace was lovely, great for breakfast and enjoyed one evening meal there also! Would recommend and would stay again.

Lovely hotel at a good price near Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore. Staff at check-in was kind and helpful. The room a bit small but typical for the location and price. The lower-level swimming pool was wonderful.

Awful smell from bathroom, presumably the sewerage system. Noticed on first night when we arrived late in the evening- kept bathroom door shut and hoped it would go away. In the morning, we opened the bathroom door and could not believe the smell. So foul and so strong. Went to reception and they said they would change our room. This took around 2 hours. We did eventually get a room change and upon first entering the room we were relieved that the smell did not seem to affect the room- we were wrong, after going out for a few hours and returning to the room we noticed the strong smell again in the bathroom. The bed was also very uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a plank of wood. The reception put a mattress topper on the bed, which slightly helped but overall was still uncomfortable. The spa also had a slight smell, and there is a large pipe across the top of the spa which has all rust across it which ruins the vibe. It is a shame as otherwise the location, the design of the hotel/rooms and the staff are all great. But I would not return due to the strong smell.

Location is fantastic, slightly quieter than some places but only a short walk to many of the things you will be in Rome to see. Pool is a little small but other than that, everything was excellent value for money.

Manage your expectations. Hotel was not what we expected. When we arrived we were taken out of the hotel, across the street to a separate building. The room had no window and there were black pubic hairs on top of the sheets. There was also hair all over the floor.

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo à estação, a diversos restaurantes e aos principais pontos turísticos, que podem ser acessados com uma caminhada tranquila de 10 a 15 minutos — o Coliseu, por exemplo. A equipe de atendimento é extremamente prestativa e atenciosa. As instalações são modernas e bem cuidadas, o hotel conta com elevador e os quartos têm um bom espaço, além de estarem sempre muito limpos. O chuveiro merece destaque: ótima pressão de água e aquecimento eficiente. No geral, oferece excelente custo-benefício e foi uma ótima escolha de hospedagem.

Anlass war ein viertägiger Städtetrip. Für drei Tage zahlten wir für ein Standard-Doppelzimmer inklusive Frühstück etwas über 600,00€. Die Lage des Hotels war sehr Gut im Stadtzentrum. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten konnten zu Fuß innerhalb 20 Minuten erreicht werden. Man sollte jedoch beachten, wenn bei der Buchung der Zusatz „Annex“ oder „Dependence“ bei der Zimmerbeschreibung vorkommt, dass es sich um das Nebengebäude des Hotels handelt. Dieses befindet sich schräg gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite. Der bauliche Zustand des Gebäudes wäre durchaus als Renovierungsbedürftig zu betiteln. Das Zimmer selbst war klein, aber für drei Nächte durchaus ausreichend. Allerdings wurden hier Dellen und Macken in den Wänden entdeckt, sowie Flecken am Kopfteil des Bettes. Den größten Renovierungsbedarf zeigte das Badezimmer. Silikonfugen waren aufgerissen und schwarz verfärbt. Die Fliesen in der Dusche hatten nicht mehr dieselbe Farbe wie im Rest des Badezimmers. Die Duscharmatur war voller Kalkflecken. Am schlimmsten war dann aber doch der Schimmel (!!) an der Decke. Die Mängel wurden der Rezeption gemeldet. Bei Ankunft am Ende des Tages roch es im ganzen Zimmer nach Chlor und die Schimmelflecken an der Decke wurden übergepinselt. Ein anderes Zimmer konnte uns nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden, da das Hotel wohl ausgebucht war. Beim Frühstück war die Auswahl nicht dem Preis entsprechend. Zu wenig Auswahl und nichtmal Brötchen. Hier buchen wir nicht noch einmal!

Die Lage ist top, Metro ca. 6 Minuten zu Fuß, Hop on, Hop off Bushaltestelle gleich um die Ecke, zentral zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, im Zimmer sowie in den öffentlichen Bereichen. Die Reinigung der Zimmer wurde leider auch nur oberflächlich durchgeführt. Frühstücksbuffet ist bis 10 Uhr, leider wurde bereits ab halb 10 Uhr nichts mehr nachgelegt. Späte Gäste hatten Pech… Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich, Personal beim Frühstück war genervt und hektisch. Die Nutzung des Schwimmbades ist bis 12 Jahren nicht erlaubt.

Unfortunately we weren't overly pleased with this hotel. There was a bad smell in the bathroom for several days, the drains were clearly blocked. There is very little furniture in the room so you have to live out of your suitcase, there is almost nothing apart from a tiny wardrobe. No proper mirror outside of the bathroom. The windows are paper thin so you hear all the noise from the street. Breakfast was ok, nothing more.

For the price, this is a good hotel when visiting Rome. It is in an ideal location and not too far walking to the Repubblica station. It can be a bit noisy, as the sound-proofing isn't the best, and the hotel is on a main street with a lot of traffic. There were a few hiccups, however. Upon arriving, my room door's automatic lock did not seemingly work. I alerted the front desk. It did take about 15 minutes to have someone finally come check the door, reinstall a new battery pack for the lock, only for the staff member to realize the issue was not mechanical; the door required strong force (slamming shut) to engage the automatic lock. Thus, I couldn't effectively settle into my room after flying 12+ hours. I don't blame the hotel for this issue, as it was resolved. But it could have been avoided if they were more familiar with the quirks of that room's door. In addition, on one day the power went out in the hotel for 10 minutes without warning. I had to ask a maid, who then had to call down to the front desk to relay a message that "they were conducting brief maintenance." Otherwise, the front desk was generally helpful. I did not use the hotel's facilities, so I can't comment on those. I did have a great experience booking an airport transfer (be sure to read the rules and book 24-hours in advance). Would I stay here again? Perhaps. There are many hotels in this area, some that are mid- to -upscale. I would be curious how they compare to Hotel 77.

I was a bit apprehensive to visit this hotel after reading some reviews, but I had nothing to worry about. Location - great location right in the centre of everything, all attractions can be easily reached, either by open top bus or walking. 5 minute walk to the hop on hop off bus & metro & 10 minutes walk to main train station. Room - we had a corner suite on the 5th floor, friends had the same room on the 4th floor. Room was spacious & immaculately clean. Bathroom is large with a walk in shower, toilet, bidet & sink. Had coffee & tea making facilities, a wardrobe, safe, fridge, 2 bedside units, large to & plenty of places for clothes. Any requests for extra milk toilet roll, issue with room was dealt with immediately. Spa & pool - this is located in the basement & open till 10pm, you booked a time slot at the desk & again this was immaculately clean & we visited on a Saturday evening enjoyed our visit in there, we all used the pool & jacuzzi area & my husband & friend used the gym, sauna. Breakfast - nice selection for a small city centre hotel, cooked breakfast (bacon, sausage egg) pancakes, cereals, cakes, toast, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt. Plenty of selection. Only issue we found with breakfast was that some hot food was not on a hot plate so could be cold & the toaster was extremely slow. Served on the roof terrace which gave a lovely view. There is also a bar up there in the evening that served drinks & food. We visited this once but found it a little expensive compare

It was a great location if you wanted to sights and be a 15-20 minute walk from the big attractions in Central Rome. However, the hotel is not really 4 stars, there is chipped paint in several areas and they just have one elevator , which fits 2 people comfortably and 3 people in a tight squeeze. This is for a place that is 7 floors! I walked a few times to my 4th floor room to avoid the wait. The "pool" is more of a wading pool, about 2-3 feet in depth and no more than 5 meters in width. You wont do any real swimming, but it can be nice after a long day sightseeing. There are a couple small jacuzzis that kids might like. For Americans (which I am) the air condiioning was just ok. The room eventually got cold enough for me, but it took time and I would say Americans are used to colder max settings, The walls were also thin, we could hear other people in rooms talking at normal levels, its definitely not soundproofed. The beds were also very firm, Ive travelled a lot and it was the hardest bed Ive slept in. I was able to sleep fine, but it will not be for everyone. The morning buffet was pretty decent overall. We didnt go to dinner there, but it looked like a nice place to have a drink/eat. However, there are plenty of good restaurant choices in the neighborhood as well. Overall, for my trip , it was fine, but I really wouldnt recommend it to anyone I know. It was clean enough, the staff was professional and courteous, but its just not a real 4 star hotel

Even though I only stayed one night my experience here was beyond what I expected! Being my first time in Roma and traveling by myself this accommodation was pure luxury. All staff was incredible, friendly, accommodating and efficient! I arrived well before my check in time and was offered free luggage storage, I took them up on it and went out to explore, when I came back to finish my check in I was in the lobby less than 3 minutes and my bags already waiting for me in my room! That evening the bartender stayed open a little longer to allow me and some other guests to hang out and enjoy a brisk evening and he did so with a smile on his face and a welcoming conversation. Next morning while on a rush I asked the desk to please call me a cab to the Roma termini and even tho it was a 10 minute walk I couldn’t afford to loose a single minute, the desk called them without hesitation after the suggestion and I swear it took me longer to get out the door than it did for the taxi to arrive. The bed was comfortable, private and secure room and clean bathrooms, the type of accommodations and standards I have not seen even on Hilton and Omni hotels before! The location is also extremely convenient with major attractions and tour meeting points within walking distance! I regret I don’t remember any of the staffs names but I surely appreciate all of them!

For the price, this is a good hotel when visiting Rome. It is in an ideal location and not too far walking to the Repubblica station. It can be a bit noisy, as the sound-proofing isn't the best, and the hotel is on a main street with a lot of traffic. There were a few hiccups, however. Upon arriving, my room door's automatic lock did not seemingly work. I alerted the front desk. It did take about 15 minutes to have someone finally come check the door, reinstall a new battery pack for the lock, only for the staff member to realize the issue was not mechanical; the door required strong force (slamming shut) to engage the automatic lock. Thus, I couldn't effectively settle into my room after flying 12+ hours. I don't blame the hotel for this issue, as it was resolved. But it could have been avoided if they were more familiar with the quirks of that room's door. In addition, on one day the power went out in the hotel for 10 minutes without warning. I had to ask a maid, who then had to call down to the front desk to relay a message that "they were conducting brief maintenance." Otherwise, the front desk was generally helpful. I did not use the hotel's facilities, so I can't comment on those. I did have a great experience booking an airport transfer (be sure to read the rules and book 24-hours in advance). Would I stay here again? Perhaps. There are many hotels in this area, some that are mid- to -upscale. I would be curious how they compare to Hotel 77.

Room sockets were broken and falling out. The light was hanging out of the socket as well. Manager wasn’t very helpful. The amenities were not working throughout our whole stay, pool and jacuzzi a big reason why we booked this hotel, so we can utilise in the heat. So waste of money. Stay clear

Hotel in great location. Staff were great on arrival (Matteo/Davide/edoardo) and always friendly and accommodating! We were in the main building and very happy with our room. Rooftop jacuzzi was closed during our stay but had daily access to the underground pool/jacuzzi’s/sauna etc. Roof top terrace was lovely, great for breakfast and enjoyed one evening meal there also! Would recommend and would stay again.

Careful booking here. They have a building across the street where the other rooms are so you’ll have to go across the street to access the amenities in the main hotel building. Also, you have to be dressed up and have “nice” shoes on if you’re going to hang out at the rooftop bar. They will tell you to go change or they will refuse you service. Then if you express your concerns, the hotel staff will just make up excuses and tell you you’re the problem.

Read a lot of reviews about this place and they were so mixed that I became worried, but kept the reservation. I’m glad I did. The location was excellent as it was within walking distance of just about everything. The rooms (2) were fairly modern and comfortable. The shower was awesome by the way. The staff was friendly and helpful and willing to go above and beyond

Værelset var rent og pænt. Dejligt badeværelse. Sød øv hjælpsom betjening. Fedt med spa i kælderen til de ømme fødder. Lokationen var fin, nemt at gå rundt til alt og tæt på Termini så perfekt når man kom med toget fra lufthavnen. Eneste minus var at det trak lidt fra vinduerne.

We really liked Hotel 77. It was within easy reach of Termini station when we arrived and other locations such as the Colosseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain were within manageable walking distance. The hotel is small and friendly, staff are welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the spa pool a couple of times, perfect after a day of sightseeing and walking. The room had everything we needed and was comfortable. The roof top bar and restaurant was great for lovely late night views with a cocktail and a delicious breakfast with lots of choices to suit us all. We would recommend this hotel and plan to go back.

Stayed at Hotel 77 in Rome and had a great experience. It's in a perfect location—walking distance to shopping strips and major tourist attractions. The room was clean, staff were friendly, and everything was convenient. Ideal spot for exploring the city!

This is an amazing place to stay centrally located to many attractions and some great restaurants. Walkable to many other places in Rome and 8 min walk to the central station so easy access from the airport. The staff were helpful and our room was perfect.

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo à estação, a diversos restaurantes e aos principais pontos turísticos, que podem ser acessados com uma caminhada tranquila de 10 a 15 minutos — o Coliseu, por exemplo. A equipe de atendimento é extremamente prestativa e atenciosa. As instalações são modernas e bem cuidadas, o hotel conta com elevador e os quartos têm um bom espaço, além de estarem sempre muito limpos. O chuveiro merece destaque: ótima pressão de água e aquecimento eficiente. No geral, oferece excelente custo-benefício e foi uma ótima escolha de hospedagem.

We stayed 2 nights in the Hotel 77 and it was lovely and cool upon our arrival into reception. All the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and our room was ready 1 hour before check in which was nice. Breakfast at the hotel was great, wide variety of options, juices and hot drinks, and with it being on the roof top was an added bonus. Our room was perfect and the bathroom was big for a city center hotel. Location wise, it was about 30mins to the Colosseum and 1 hour walk to the Vatican. We walked to both to absorb the sights and sounds of Rome. Its also only an 8 minute walk from Rome Termini which was easy with a backpack or wheeled suitcase. Overall I recommend Hotel 77 and hope to go back one day. Thank you

We booked this hotel for the pool and it was freezing cold. We also asked for an extra bed or sofa bed which we would have happily paid for but were not helpful in providing. Housekeeping would not replenish toilet rolls and towels and when we asked for more we were told to come to reception to collect.. Breakfast was disappointing. We ate butter and bread rolls each morning due to the lack of selection and because they never kept topping up anything.

Clean and spacious room with great buffet breakfast on roof top. Our only idsue was the room was not prepared for 4 people when we got there and took the hotel staff some time to prepare it! For customer convenience, I hope hotel accept credit card for paying hotel tax rather than requiring a cash payment.

Great staff so lovely.. Rooms are modern and the spa is a lovely touch to rest up after roaming all day. Breakfast is plentiful and the guys up there are so friendly. The rooftop gives great views of the area and Santa Maria... They can't do enough for you here and I would book again

Short stay. Two nights. Out in the city didn’t spend a lot of time there. Did have breathy last morning at their rooftop restaurant. Excellent!

Great location near 3 metro stops, Opera House , Termini Station. Just behind Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore where Pope Francis is buried. Great Breakfast and friendly staff. We walked to the Colosseum and took Metro to Vatican area

The breakfast is very good, the spa is relaxing and enjoyable downstairs for free also. The location is fantastic. Right in the city centre. Comfortable rooms with shutters and balcony. Lovely. It's also Perfect for visiting Rome's main attractions.. Service was good.. but a little nosey.. and not many channels available on the room TV. Otherwise excellent.

I was a bit apprehensive to visit this hotel after reading some reviews, but I had nothing to worry about. Location - great location right in the centre of everything, all attractions can be easily reached, either by open top bus or walking. 5 minute walk to the hop on hop off bus & metro & 10 minutes walk to main train station. Room - we had a corner suite on the 5th floor, friends had the same room on the 4th floor. Room was spacious & immaculately clean. Bathroom is large with a walk in shower, toilet, bidet & sink. Had coffee & tea making facilities, a wardrobe, safe, fridge, 2 bedside units, large to & plenty of places for clothes. Any requests for extra milk toilet roll, issue with room was dealt with immediately. Spa & pool - this is located in the basement & open till 10pm, you booked a time slot at the desk & again this was immaculately clean & we visited on a Saturday evening enjoyed our visit in there, we all used the pool & jacuzzi area & my husband & friend used the gym, sauna. Breakfast - nice selection for a small city centre hotel, cooked breakfast (bacon, sausage egg) pancakes, cereals, cakes, toast, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt. Plenty of selection. Only issue we found with breakfast was that some hot food was not on a hot plate so could be cold & the toaster was extremely slow. Served on the roof terrace which gave a lovely view. There is also a bar up there in the evening that served drinks & food. We visited this once but found it a little expensive compare

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Hotel is good, but the fourth star is flattering. Breakfast is rather limited with no renewal from day to day. Location is excellent in the centre of Rome with easy access to almost everything including public transport.

The noise in the Room was equivalent to sleeping on the street. Don’t expect much help from the staff, no ear plugs or sound proof windows, also AC is not really there.

I specifically booked this hotel so my 5 year old could have access to a pool during the hot weather in Rome (August visit). When we arrived we found out that the pool was actually closed with no prior information of this. I found this incredibly frustrating and the staff couldn’t care less or be less helpful about it. We were offered access to their sister hotel pool, a 15 min walk away. We booked with the staff for suitable time slots and when we arrived at the pool we’re told we weren’t booked in at all. The staff there were incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. The photos of the hotel are very flattering and don’t give a real impression of it. Things are much shabbier, all glasses at breakfast had chips in them and the rooftop/restaurant area needs a big refurb.
