Very helpful, friendly staff. The spa is fantastic to have after walking around all day. Sauna helped so much with my feet and back. Everything very clean but a couple spots in the bathroom that could have been wiped down a bit better. Location very nice, quiet, and walkable. However, it is difficult to get a taxi directly from the hotel.

This was ok, but not great. Front desk was rarely staffed and were nit helpful. The Spa was never open. The stairs are narrow and steep. Location was the key. Right behind the Piazza Navona, close to the Vatican, Campo di Fiore and lots of cafes. Feels like a neighborhood. Meh. Wouldn't stay there again.

Great little place. We stayed one day and they gave us a later check out for no cost. It was a bit tricky to find and the taxi couldn't take us the whole way but the cabbie told us how to get there. Fully enjoyed the spa as well, just make sure you book the spa time beforehand.

We paid for a superior room, there was nothing superior about it. It was a tiny room with a window that looked out into a dingy enlcosed courtyard. There was a spa use included in our booking which we tried to use twice but both times were told the spa was full, sorry. Overall location was good but we did not get what we paid for at all and were put in a shoebox of a room, pictures are extremely misleading.

Chose this property solely for the swimming pool. They posted pictures of on their website. And the large rooms. It is not a swimming pool but a small Jacuzzi tub that is only heated to 70°F. The sauna was broken and in order to use the Jacuzzi, you have to make a reservation. The room amenities are zilch and the staff not accommodating. In a very local area close to restaurants which was nice, but would not stay again.

A really lovely, Roman property, full of historical details but modern, first class room and bathroom. Room spacious and beautifully decorated. Staff helpful and charming. Would have been 5 stars but for the fact that we booked because it has a swimming pool/spa - the website did not mention a charge: 50 euros before 4.30pm, 100 euros after that. Really expensive! Okay if there are a lot of you, but not for a couple. Such a shame.

Clean room and tidied and made up daily, very pleasant staff who were helpful. Spa was a nice addition especially after a long day walking around Rome. Excellent location, with loads of restaurants and shops on the door step.

Too overpriced for what this place has to offer. Bathroom is covered in mold. Our room was kind of in a dungeon and was hard to get to. There is generally no one at the reception desk. The housekeeping does a poor job at cleaning. The spa is just a hot tub nothing special there. It’s trickery to charge extra for the spa. I do not recommend this hotel and will never go back there.

The building itself is charming but the room we had could have used some work. The bathroom had mold in the shower and the shower head was leaking. The door to the bathroom had quite a bit of wear. Overall could have used some TLC. The room was also very small. The smallest on our trip. The spa was nice but the tub was a bit dirty, and as others noted it is not a hot tub, rather just room temperature. The area also wasn’t the greatest. While there was restaurants nearby this was a bit off the beaten path and lots of people selling knock off purses etc on sheets in the streets. In the start of our trip we stayed in another area of Rome and it was much cleaner and felt safer.

The location was quite easy to get to many areas on foot. Plenty of dining nearby. The hotel is very unique. I loved the doors and wood ceilings and the exterior of the building. The only complaints would be the mildew on the side of the tub, very hard and flat old pillows on the bed, cheap shampoo, etc., and the instant coffee was terrible.

Giving this a very low rating as the room itself that I booked was literally on the ground floor in the lobby area of the hotel. There were no other rooms available to switch into, and it cost more than US $1,000 for a two night stay in that horrible room.. The door to the room (#101) is maybe 2 meters from the seat that the front desk attendant sits in all day and evening. Unbelievable. I reserved the "Deluxe Double Room, 1 Bedroom, Jetted Tub" listing, which upon review after staying there appears to show photos of 2 rooms combined as one. Yes, it has a jetted tub and yes, it has a double bed, but YES it\'s also in the lobby of the hotel. If you book this room be sure that you are NOT confirmed in Room #101 unless you want very little privacy, and to be able to hear every conversation in the hotel lobby as well as the comings and goings of every guest all day and night. That said, it is a good location and is very walkable. The entrance is on a pretty quiet, narrow side street near to a lot of main tourist areas, though this also means that taxis can\'t make it to the front door and you\'ll have to walk you suitcase a bit to reach the hotel itself (not a big deal at all for me)

This hotel was a true Italian gem, with cozy, charming touches and a stunning exterior that felt like it was straight out of a movie. Our room was beautiful, complete with a fireplace. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all major attractions, yet tucked away so it was quiet at night. The only downsides were that there were no dressers to put clothes in, and one day they ran out of full-body towels, which was a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, the stay was great. This is a quaint hotel. Its outer appearance looks like an Italian experience. It’s in a great location. We walked everywhere, even at night. We felt safe. The location & spa area was what attracted us to choosing to stay here. However the room was quite small. There was no room to really store any of our clothes. The shower was SO SMALL, it was uncomfortable showering. I don’t know if all the rooms were as tight, but ours seemed so small, and my husband and I aren’t even really tall. We stayed here for three nights. Grant at the front desk was so kind and helpful. We would stay here again if we could have a larger room.

I had booked two nights at Relais Barozzi for three people from January 3-5. To my surprise, a few days before booking, I was contacted several times via Whatsapp calls and messages to say that due to "overbooking" we had been moved to their sister hotel 47 Goldoni (in a different area). I wrote back saying this was not acceptable to me, because I had booked Relais Barozzi specifically for the area, and also because when I checked on hotel booking sites, the daily rates for 47 Goldoni were substantially cheaper compared to Relais Barozzi for the same period. This felt uncomfortable. It came across as dishonest. I therefore said that I wanted to cancel the reservation and obtain a refund. They refused. I asked Expedia to be involved, and again they refused.

The staff was terrible. The heat did not work on our first two days and the desk staff refused to give us extra blankets. The slot for the key card that keeps lights on broke and staff came to my room, but did not fix it. Eventually, I fixed it.

Good location near Piazza Navona. No 24 hr staff. After a long 2 weeks coming off a cruise ship we expected better accommodations. No hot water to take a shower the first day. For the price what we paid nightly, we’ll stay elsewhere next trip.

Located in an old palace in downtown Rome, this hotel is in a perfect location. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a single night prior to departure from Rome to the US. The location is perfect since the hotel is downtown next to a ton of restaurants, and is conveniently located next to a Taxi stand (down the alley) for the early morning flight to the US.

The location is absolutely fabulous along with a great staff. It was a little difficult in finding the hotel at first but then was fine. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Wish we had time to use the spa facilities but we were too busy enjoying the city. The lounge area where check in is small and no breakfast area, but you are close to bars. We would stay here again for sure.

Schnuckeliges Hotel mitten in der Innenstadt. Zimmerschnitt außergewöhnlich, aber durchaus attraktiv. Nettes, kompetentes Personal. Frühstück in einem sehr netten Cafe/Bistro um die Ecke. Gerne wieder.
