This is a sweet small hotel right by the lakeside. It was very clean and well appointed. The included breakfast was really good. The room was comfortable and a decent size, with really lovely decor. My only negative is that the walls are quite thin (can hear toilets flushing, etc!) It’s a 20 minute walk downhill from the railway station (I think there are buses back up), and a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry terminal to go anywhere on the lake.

The staff acknowledged our request for separate beds when booking but they didn’t provide it and wouldn’t change it for the first night we were there. We were told we could get the beds ready ourselves! Not great customer service

Although rooms retro/dated, very clean, fantastic location - close to the square, harbour and the beach. Continental breakfast served - fruit & baked products very fresh. Perfect start to the day :)

I stayed at hotel Aurora for 3 nights with my mum. We had the best stay, the beds were so comfy. The staff were amazing. The location was brilliant and the roof top area was an added bonus. Couldn’t fault breakfast either. I’d quite happily come back. Thank you hotel Aurora for a great stay.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic with a great selection. The location was also excellent, close to the lake, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommended!
