The room was very spacious and clean. The location was only a few min away from the central area. I arrived at 1:40pm and asked if I could check in a little bit early. They asked me to pay 12 euros. I also didn’t find the luggage storage room safe, because the door is sometimes left wide open, and anyone with bad intention could just come and run with your bags.

It was a good price and a decent hotel. It is definitely a basic hotel, do not expect many amenities. The underside of the bed had not been properly cleaned but other than that, this was a fairly positive stay.

check in was echt drama, heb een uur gewacht voordat ik kon inchecken waarna ik vervolgens weer achteraan in de rij moest aansluiten, bij de incheckpaal bleef hij aangeven dat mijn kamer steeds niet gereed was (zelfs na de inchecktijd van 1500). personeel er bij geroepen, maar mevrouw kwam erg onvriendelijk over en zag het meer als een last om mij te helpen, terwijl ik niets begreep van wat de bedoeling was. I did not like the fact that I could not get regular TV channels. I asked the person at the desk how to work the remote and she was extremely rude, and when I said she was not being helpful she said "whatever". Also, the drain in the sink was plugged and when I filled it up a couple of dead flies came out and there was what looked like a cockroach in the shower. Had she been more helpful, or even polite, and had basic maintenance been better, I would have been a lot more complimentary as the hotel generally seemed nice and the location was very good.

It was modern looking and spacious room. We were traveling with two children. We got a room with a queen bed and a bunker beds. Only suggestion is to have some place that we can put the luggage or drawers.

As the check-in was via a terminal, with no human interface, it was impossible to even try to check in early. The computer just insisted the room was not ready until the check-in time. Place is noisy people don’t take the time to hold the doors and they make noise. Also my room was on the first floor, the windows with view of the street and I could hear people walking by at night. So if you don’t get into a deep state of sleep, just keep that in mind.

When we first got to our room, we were met with a very plain room (sparsely furnished, no TV) with an unfinished concrete ceiling. It was giving off "you're staying in an NCP car park for the night vibe." However, we really warmed to this place during our stay. The thing about concrete is, it has amazing sound-deadening properties. The room was so quiet, the bed was so comfy, we slept so well here. It's also right in the centre of Antwerp and central for everything. In the foyer, there is a coffee machine, a kettle, a fridge - everything you need. The hotel was really busy and vibrant, but the moment you went into your room, it was so quiet, it was like having the place to yourself. In short, we loved it here. You have to look past the brutalist modern design to see the gem glittering in its concrete setting that this hotel is.

Had a great stay at Citybox. The hotel is modern, with a great lobby where you can have things in a refrigerator, play ping pong etc. the self checkin works great and I was even upgraded for free. There’s aircondition in the rooms which they should but in here on hotels.com under amenities especially during the summer. It was 36 degrees outside so it was needed, but I had to write an email to the hotel and ask if they had aircondition because it doesn’t say so online. An email they promptly answered. Beds are comfortable, the bathroom is nice and overall it’s amazing value for your money. The location is a 5-10 min walk from the central station and a 15 min walk to the town square so it’s very well located

Only downsides were no tv channels (I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels that had tv channels) and marks on the wall underneath the table/desk in the room, staff were amazing and the area of the hotel was great

The check-in was awful, because the system kept saying the rooms weren't ready. Way past checkin-time. These checkins without staff only work when everything goes smooth straight away.. althpugh even then they take longer than a check-in at a desk with staff. Now we had to go look for staff and the people from catering don't know anything (of course...). So took a while to find someone and then there were more faults with the system, so there was a small cue of people. Took nearly an hour to get into the room... The rooms and hotel itself are very very nice! The staff as well. Just this stupid system of online checkins without a desk... really frustrated start of the weekend.

This hotel is very close to U Antwerp and was reasonably priced. It is on a small, quiet street one Metro stop from Antwerpen Centraal - although I walked the distance with two bags quiet easily. Rooms are furnished comfortably. Wifi is good but no television/cable service. A separately-managed cafe/snack bar on the ground floor serves breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices; i.e. coffee and a croissant for 5 euros. This hotel has electronic check-in and check-out to keep costs down. My electronic check-in was not working and there was a staff member who assisted me with check-in. Electronic check-out worked for me and took less than 5 seconds.

Check in automatico. mai arrivarci stressati, o se devi fare pipi. e mai chiedere supporto allo staff......Scortesi e saccenti. camera e hotel spartani, brutalisti, essenziali. a soffitto le pre dalles a vista, con sbavature di getto. impianto elettrico nel battiscopa (rotto). imp. cdz nel c. soff. del wc. La bocchetta di mandata getta aria fredda direttamente sul letto e non è regolable. buon bar dalle 8 alle 15, economico x il belgio, si può fare anche brunch. ombrelli e asciugamani opzionali, automatici, anche qui solo con carta di credito. pulizie camera non quotidiane, così l'ambiente è contento e poi anche tu, dai, risparmi sul prezzo...... dimenticavo, la TV in camera è finta, solo pubblicità della catena cytibox.

hotel is really clean and quiet. I love the style of the rooms. There is a sliding door across the bathroom to stop them slamming which adds to the overall peacefulness. My only gripe was that the e-check in was down and the reception wasn’t really visible and took a long time to check in.

The only issue was check in. The check in machines asked for payment when we’d already paid, but the lady who assisted said they only checked the credit card. When my bill arrives I don’t want to find we’ve paid twice. They need a receptionist. The breakfast cafe food was very good

Relatively close to station Functional, spartan but clean room rather than a cosy, comfortable feel. Efficient self check in, although rather impersonal but I guess it is a 3 star hotel and priced accordingly - no extras, but basic essentials

We only had 24h in Antwerp so this place was perfect. Not even 10 mins from the Central Station, and then around 15 mins walk to the main market square. Very, very reasonably priced and we would recommend to anyone when in the city.

This property offers microwave & fridge in the lounge .I would have used them if my stay had been longer, The opportunity to cook my own food is a big attraction as massive savings can be make compared to always eating out .My only concern is that there is only 1 microwave so waiting to use it might be a problem

The room was pretty basic but very clean and comfortable. The lobby lounge area is nice and the kitchen and amenities were amazing and really convenient, great if you wanna save some money. Location is quite good too! Close to Antwerp Central Station and short walk into main part of Antwerp. Checking in and out was super easy too. Honestly i dont have any complaints and would definitely stay again

Spotlessly clean with an excellent location—near the train station and even nearer the flix bus stop. Staff let us store luggage all day, which was perfect. Smart TV worked great, breakfast looked genuinely good (we just didn't eat it), and it's perfectly positioned near old town and the main street. Safe and reliable.

Self service check in was straight forward and quick. Room was good and spacious but amenities were fairly basic. Bed very comfortable and excellent shower. Hotel was central to shopping, bars, restaurants and railway station.

The breakfast options were all excellent. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The only criticism is there check-in process. The kiosk system is painful. The staff were however extremely helpful. Thank you.
