It is a very clean hotel with excellent cortesi from all stuff, it is situated in a very safe area there are stores and restaurants galore , lots of night clubs and caliente casino right across the street. Coffee all day long and free parking plus valet parking Great place to stay one or several nights.

The elevator was almost down every day. After a long walk, climbing three floors was disappointing. So, if you're older and have any mobility problems, make sure you get the first floor. Call before you reserve to make sure they will accommodate you.

First off, parking is provided by hotel. It is across the street. Once you park, go to hotel and give them the parking ticket you received. Once you leave hotel they will give you a card to cover the parking fees. The hotel is decorated well, front lobby, stairs, hallways and rooms. The room was quite and very little to no light enters the room. The darkness in the morning is great as you can rest a little longer. Hotel staff were very open to talk and assist with questions we had. Front desk, valet, and manager were friendly. I would stay again. Felt safe at all times at hotel.

This hotel was a good location and value, with fun theming throughout. We enjoyed the drinks on the rooftop bar as well. Room was clean and had fridge. I knew booking it that there was no window, but we did miss it. a/c in room kept room cool but was noisy, as well as guests walking thru hallways at evening felt like they were in your room with thin walls. Staff was friendly. Thought $30 USD cash only deposit was odd for room keys. Overall good stay though and would recommend.

No parking available. Had to pay an extra $12. I believe when you book a hotel with parking, they should have a spot for your car. I had to pay an extra $12. The TV did not work, and decorations fell off the wall. I usually stay at a different hotel, but unfortunately they were booked for the weekend.

Hotel property and room was really nice. Staff is really friendly and easy going. The hotel is in the downtown and rooms and shower was super clean. The lights in the room was a little too dark, also the elevator was broken and you need to use the stairs. But the location is close to everything, you don’t need to drive. I loved

The place is nice but staff was very rude, I was forced out of my room to be cleaned and it took more than two hrs for the cleaning lady to be done and all she did was take out trash and redo bed and in a bad mood making faces at me and being rude. I mentioned I didn’t want the service that day because I was sleeping and they literally forced me out. Receptionist was very disrespectful as well and in a bad mood, not welcome at all. I asked for manager and I was told that they were busy and not available, wish I could get my refund.

I have stayed at Rio Rita before and this was my 2nd time staying here. This time the customer service by the front desk staff was absolutely the worst ever. We had 2 rooms, 1 for 2 nights and 1 for 1 night. My friends staying 1 night checked out of their room after 1 night and put their backpacks in our room until they were leaving after dinner. We went out for lunch and when we returned the front desk stopped my 2 friends from coming up to our room due to a hotel policy not allowing "guests" in rooms. I spoke to the 3 front desk staff and the valet guy, who translated because he spoke perfect english. I explained to them that my 2 friends were guest last night and they have copies of their IDs and are not just random people off the street. They are just staying with us until they leave after dinner. After discussing this and explaining that I am a repeat customer, they said they would make an exception to the hotel policy. Everything was fine until we came back after dinner and went to the room to get their bags so they could depart. Again, the new desk staff tried to stop us from going up to the room and we had the same argument with them. We told them we already got permission from the day staff and they need to communicate better within their team members. We told them we are just going upstairs to get out stuff. 5 minutes later the front desk guy came up and told my friends that they need to leave. Unbelievable! We cancelled our trip and we all left. Staff are so friendly and rooms are clean and cute. The area is great if you like the lively atmosphere. The lady at the front desk was so very nice I can’t remember her name but she was so nice and the guy Christian that was working with her. The free breakfast young lady was super sweet too. It’s a hip place and very welcoming and I will be back.

We stayed 1 night and put our backpacks in our friends room because they were staying another night. The evening front desk staff kicked us out due to the hotels "no guest" policy. The daytime staff already approved an exception to the policy because we were guests and they had copies of our IDs from the previous night and we were leaving after dinner. The evening front desk guy came to my friends room and told us we had to leave. My friend was in the bathroom and we told him we are all checking out and leaving as soon as he's out of the bathroom. This guys would not leave until my friend literally flung opened the bathroom door while he was on the toilet and yelled at the guy that "we are all leaving after I'm done on the toilet!" Only then did this guy leave the room. Just the worst CS ever. These people have no clue about making a judgement call. We are not partying or make noise or causing trouble. We were just sitting in the room waiting to digest our dinner so we could get on the road without any problems.

The service was excellent, not one rude staff or close to it at all. All friendly and professional. Security 24/7. Parking is free, however, it is across the street, in front of the hotel and it's public parking. They do have good lighting and the structure has staff there all day/night. The room I had which was on the 2nd floor was small but decent. It is all covered up with their wall paper which is neat, but no windows so no natural light. Then again there's nothing pretty to look at which was fine with me. There's lounges/patios on each level with free coffee/tea. It would be nice if they allowed you to have a beer on the patio to enjoy fresh air but it's not allowed. It's walking distance to bars, restaurants, pharmacies, and shops.

I liked this hotel. the only problem was: 1. the elevator was not working, 2. the music from surrounding venues was audible inside the room, it would be great if they provided complimentary ear plugs or better sound proofing options. i would stay there again, super close to all the action in revolucion..

Hotel Rio Rita is a nice little hotel on Ave Revolucion. I stay here every time I come to Tijuana. It's about 10-15 minutes from San Ysidro and sits in the heart of Tijuana's tourist district, while being within walking distance of Zona Norte and Zona Centro. First time stay here and for the price of the room, you can't find a better place. Very clean and convenient located rightin the middle of Revolucion and a about 2 blocks from Zona Norte. The room albeit small was perfect for that one night stay. I had only one mishap and that my room didn't have a blanket. Staff did bring one to me. But great stay. O i forgot to mention there is a nice bar on the 2nd floor with a great balcony view of the street life. Nice TV and heat lamps to keep you warm.

Very nice and friendly place. Convenient location off of Revolucion Blvd. Staff very friendly, clean rooms, awesome decor. Quiet and secure. There is parking for the hotel as well and breakfast voucher. Second time here.
