Fordson Hotel, in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt

This hotel really shocked us with the level of hospitality they offered. We had some of the nicest interactions with the staff and they made our stay truly memorable. Andrew and Nathan, behind the bar of Mary Eddys, were experts in their craft. These were some of the best cocktails I have ever tasted. The front desk was always smiling and accommodating. The valet, Jake, was so awesome. He was fast to take us to the places we wished to see and drop us off and then pick us back up in the shuttle when we were through so there was no stress of driving and finding parking throughout our stay. He had a great attitude. The area around the hotel is still being redeveloped in a sense so I wouldn’t recommend walking to your destinations but don’t worry.. the shuttle is free and will help within their radius allowance. The overall hotel is gorgeous and we loved the amenities and the art installations in the building. A really unique vibe. We will be returning next month and plan to book here again. 10/10 will stay again.

Nice stay and the hotel was well done, with the historical aspect of the building really showing. The hotel required valet or you could park at a garage across the street for $5/night which was fine. Overall nice stay and would stay here again

Absolutely love this hotel. Very spacious rooms with a nice 24hr gym with sauna.

The property itself is very nice, our room was clean and check-in was fine. We used the valet parking service that was provided by the hotel, which we assumed would also be a service in the morning. This was not the case. We came downstairs at 5am to get our car and the gentleman working went outside, grabbed our keys, and came back inside to tell us our car was in the garage across the street. Thankfully it was on the main level. Thankfully I was not alone so my husband went across the street to get the car while I waited with the luggage. I see my husband is unable to get out of the garage because of course he didn’t personally park the car there and didn’t have the means to get out. The man who got the keys went across the street and opened the garage for my husband to get out. Did we load our own luggage while the “valet” guy sat inside? Yup. We paid $30 for valet services which didn’t exist.

This hotel is not kid friendly. Adult only pool after 4:00 I was told we could swim until 4:00. With check-in at 3:00 that is not really optimal. With kids the number one hotel amenity is a pool.

Very cool building. Very clean, cool deco, bar excellent, staff cool and friendly, pool small but great.

We loved the historic vibe of the property and being able to leisurely stroll around viewing the art collection. Mary Eddy’s restaurant was fabulous! The only thing that I think could be improved upon was the use of the hotel pool by private party guests. I specifically booked this property because the pool looked so inviting. We were prohibited from using the pool for a few hours because a private party booked it and when we arrived at the pool after the party there were no chairs available to us because all the party guests had taken up every poolside chair. Party guests lingered long after the party. We stood in the pool until 2 bar stools became available. I would like management to address this issue as we did not feel welcome in the pool in the property we were paying to stay at. All other parts of our experience were wonderful.

This hotel quality and the stay was very nice and the property is unique. Be warned if you’re bringing children that the pool changes to adults at 4 pm or 5 pm. We had children that wanted to go in the pool and we were not able to because it was a party atmosphere. The guest were also rude making the 30 mins the kids could swim very inconvenient.

The hotel is gorgeous and so interesting! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room(double queen) was spacious, clean very comfortable. We visited the bar for drinks, great service, beautiful atmosphere. We also used the hotels complimentary shuttle service(3 mile radius) to get to and from the Civic Center Music Hall to see Wicked. The hotel has several amenities we didn’t have time to use but everything we saw looked amazing, art displays, pool area and bar, fitness center & spa. The only thing I would note to keep in mind is that the hotel is located in downtown OKC and is surrounded by music venues. I’m assuming there was an outdoor venue close by and could hear the music in our room well past midnight. That being said I would still stay here again in a heartbeat!

Everything was FANTASTIC! Hospitality, atmosphere, accommodations, location, Great surrounding restaurants. The workout room was the BEST - complete with sauna and steam room. I will stay here again. Super Job, Fordson!

Awesome Hotel and staff. Restaurant was very very good. Service was a bit slow but the food more than made up for it. Room was huge and super clean. Floors very clean and fun art to discover all around. Highly suggest this spot.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious and extremely clean The parkade across the street was only $10 a day. We love that it is pet friendly! Our room was cool when we arrived but there seemed to be a problem with the fan on the air conditioning and we called the desk. They immediately sent two very nice and friendly men to find the problem. They fixed it and all was well after that and we were even given a gift card for our “trouble” and were told if it continued they would happily move us to a new room. We didn’t need that as it was fully functioning by the time they were done. I highly recommend this hotel.

Dirty bathroom. Poop all over the toilet. The ac didn't work. Front desk was going to get someone to look at it but never did. Unfortunate stay.

The hotel is pretty interesting and beautiful with its dedication to representing the art community. We were extremely disappointed that the pool was not declared to be public as this was the reason for the selection, was so my daughter could swim. We did not feel safe with the abundance of people who were not hotel patrons in the pool area drinking and such. I wish this was advertised on the site. The bed had some stains on the sheets (like a drink spill) and the bathroom was pretty dirty on the floors and such. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the valet service was a nice touch that we did take advantage of.

The Mary Eddys is a nice, upscale restaurant with good service. There is a bakery within the building and I enjoyed the coffee and patisserie. The halls are cavernous with a vinyl plank flooring used throughout. If I had some complaints it would be these: The cavernous halls echo voices well. There are inside rooms adjacent to 4-story chasms filled with decorative LED light fixtures. Unfortunately, it was impossible to fully darken the room from the LED lights. I didn't know to designate not to have an inside room, because I did not know in advance that inside rooms were a thing. That was my mistake. Also, the refresh-rate on the LED bathroom lights was too low (if you know you know). Otherwise, the room was very clean, the common areas were frequently being cleaned, the staff was friendly, and the location was very handy.

Spacious, clean and convenient!

Enjoyed all the amenities available us. The rooms were sparkling clean and the hotel wa spectacularl.

It was a super cool old building. Loved the atmosphere. The shower curtin was disgusting but other than that great room and I loved the windows.

This hotel is wonderful!! Large rooms, very clean, loved the separate bedroom area and living room area! Super nice staff and very willing to answer any questions. Cute pool area and an overall wonderful stay. The only thing I would ask for is to please provide brighter lights in the room!!!! Very dim lighting and difficult to read in this room.

The staff were polite and helpful, the anesthetics were nice and fun. The lighting in the room was pretty dim and made it challenging to do makeup even with the provided mirror light. The sink was small and the cpunter tops show all the water on the cpunter and its very hard not to get so much water on the counter tops because of how shallow the sink is. The water pressure from the shower was incredible though. The tempature was easily tailored, and there was enough space in the shower. Lastly, the towels are hella soft and their closet offers good lighting and a full length mirror. This place is classy and sophisticated, and staffed by wonderful people.

The hotel is really cool. The history in the architecture is really awesome too. We enjoyed that aspect of it and staying somewhere a little bit more unique from other places! I will say that the rooms are pretty hot. It was hard to get good airflow and the thermostat is set where you can only turn it to a certain temperature. We were not able to turn it low enough to really cool it off. The bed is also not very comfortable. My back hurt pretty bad the next morning. We would’ve also really enjoyed going to the swimming pool, but it is a small space and it was very crowded with a lot of people who are very drunk. If that’s not your scene, it won’t work for you. So all the architecture and design was really cool. We will not be going back. The comfort was not what we were hoping for for a relaxing day.

Front desk had no idea about any food/beverage credit from booking through hotels.com that was advertised and shown with my booking. Hotel was very clean and fun design/layout, however the hallways to the rooms are very large/open and all concrete, so any noise echos very loud all night into your room as people get in at all hours and a lot of times are being quite loud and drunk. Anyone laughing or talking anywhere on the floor' sounds like they are right outside your door. Great water pressure for showers.

I liked the history and art in the hotel. I did not like that they changed my booked room from 2 Queen beds to 1 King bed without telling me. I think it was rude to not let me know of the room change or to offer a discount. We had no idea about the change until we actually walked into our room. We also got a room with no windows and the room was dark despite the lighting that they did have in it. The lighting in the bathroom was not good either but the shower was huge. The staff did apologize about the room and offered a complete other room - so we would be sleeping in separate rooms...which was not something we wanted. They then offered either free breakfast or a free drink at the bar. The staff was great was just bummed about the room and lack of view (the building has so many windows). The bed wasn't the most comfortable but wasn't bad. They also did not have any ice machines on the floor but will bring you ice up to your room. When they did, it was in a very small bucket - was not impressed with that. I don't like having to depend on the staff for that and was not nearly enough ice for us. The art on the wall on the 2nd floor was awesome. The hallways are very vast and also pretty dark, could use just a bit more light to the space. The bartender actually arranged for us to have the hotel shuttle take us to the venue that we were going to which was awesome and something we had not planned on. All in all I love the building and the staff...room itself, we were not.

Distinct downgrade from the 21C Hotel experience. Room that was provided (Lightwell King) was poorly located in hotel and blackout curtains were insufficient causing significant light to come in during night and made for a bad night of sleep combined with loud noises from other guests as they came in at all hours of the night.

They went above and beyond with excellent service.

Room wasn’t ready during my check-in time. I had to wait an hour no compensation no remediation just told to wait. Unacceptable at all degrees area is what you would expect near a city of low-grade.

Room was not ready two hours after check in time and staff did not even seem regretful.

This hotel is an old Ford Motor Co factory, which gives it some historic industrial charm. That was unfortunately overshadowed by abysmal communication/customer service from the staff. Like checking in at 3:40pm and room is not ready. They take my phone number and tell me they will let me know when room is ready. We return to hotel after 9pm—and they still hadn’t communicated with me. Room has a broken fridge, which despite repeated asking about, was never remedied nor explained to me. Hotel has no ice. Took several tries to get enough towels and a refill of the empty shampoo bottle mounted in the shower. Upon checking out, the bill was incorrect. They tried to fix it and print me a new copy but for some reason were unable to. They say they will email confirmation of the corrected bill to me ASAP, which now 12 hours later I still have not received. We stay in a lot of hotels and none in recent memory have been this frustrating.

Didn’t honor our reservation and blamed booking third party. Downgraded us to a different room without notification

Grace at the front desk was so welcoming and accommodating! Our only issue was it took a while to get some ice due to staffing shortage. Service and hotel were top notch and we will definitely come back to stay! The happy hour at Mary Eddy's is unbeatable! Great service there and in the cafe next door. Have recommended to my friends and family!

Great hotel. Undergoing a change in ownership when we were there, so a little understaffed. Room Service didn't pick up the phone so we went down to the Pool Bar to order in person. Food was OK, took a little while to make and had suspiciously hard components in it, and the server just stood around waiting for us to say something before taking our order. But, the front desk staff was excellent, the valets are excellent (friendly - we did not use them though, for $23 less we could just drive our car across the street and park it in the exact same garage), and the space was top notch. The room was fantastic, big, tall ceilings and a great view. Air conditioner ROCKED. Best hotel AC ever, for sure. Slept so well. Enjoyed the art flare and the old Model T on display in the lobby as well. Very quiet hallways thanks to the size of the place. This was also a historic location, as the first permanent Ford factory in Oklahoma - and is mentioned in the Science Museum! The building is on the National Register of Historic Places as well. Just a really cool hotel, definitely worth staying at, a fantastic surprise to find. They were a little fudgy on their pet policy - one guy said three pets no weight limit, another said two pets and 50-lb limit, a third said no cap on pets as long as they fit through the door. I attributed that confusion to the ownership change, and didn't affect us really. They did not ask for specifics at the desk so I assume the three I put on our booking were fine.

Currently in transition from Hotel 21c to the Hyatt so things were a bit hectic during checking with their computer systems. However, love the managers and the costumer service.

We loved everything about that trip. The staff was more than accommodating and even offered us a shuttle ride to Paycom center. Picked us up at a timely fashion even when it was cold. Provided extra creamer for my wife’s coffee. Nothing short of a perfect experience.

I can not stress enough how AMAZING the staff was. Everyone was kind and considerate, went above and beyond at every level.

Great property the rooms are huge and the location is in the middle of everything I was able to walk every where I wanted to go. Hotel staff were great and helped me with a military discount at check in as well. Highly recommend this property

Our first time in OKC and I am glad we found this place. So unique and very convenient location. The staff is incredibly helpful. Rooms are very specious with comfortable beds. We visited for the event at Civic Art Center and this place is only 10 min walk away from the venue.

Night club was right outside our window and music was deafening until 2 AM

Great location! Easy walking distance to dining and nightlife! Hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful! We will be coming back soon!

My only complaints are it was a bit noisy at night, Friday night there was loud music in a surrounding building that kept us awake and on the weekends we had to pay to valet park as the close by $5 overnight garages were full. Overall I would stay again but maybe ask for a room on other side of the building.

It was a really nice hotel in a good location, we we're able to park and uber almost everywhere around downtown for under $10.

This is our go-to place in Oklahoma City. Located near mid-town it is a boutique hotel, close to the things we love to explore, dining, and more. Located in an historic Ford factory,it has an ambience that is rare in the midwest.

Excellent stay, very art deco. Only down side is homelessness population, but very grateful for the high patrol of local friendly police 👮

The museum on the first floor was unique was nice. The negative was that the area has no walkability. It is like a ghost town.

Very interesting place. Parking garage directly across the street that costs $10 for overnight parking. I felt very safe.

Food was delicious and the bar area is gorgeous. We truly enjoyed the art work and time spent in the hotel. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. The decor and industrial vibe is very fun. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is very cool. A nice mix of industrial and modern. The cocktails at Mary Eddy’s were good and Emily was a great bartender. Thanks to Sydney at reception, we felt welcomed and served well.

We loved the customer service and the cleanliness of the rooms. The design and decor were wonderful too. We especially recommend their breakfast.

The hotel was great. The restaurant was awful. We went diwn to the restaurant and were tokd there were no seats. We say at the bar for 11:2 hrs. At no time were their tables full. We were two people so it was easy to add us. The food was good but the manager was not.

This is a very cool, unique property, a lot of history & character, you can tell a lot has gone into the design. Room was spacious and well stocked with the essentials. Staff were, for the most part, friendly & helpful. Small things let the place down… as it is in an old warehouse/factory, the noise really travels. Middle of the night both nights i was woken by loud hotel guests in the hallway. Another time was woken early by the cleaners making excessive noise outside. Also a little frustrating that a private event all weekend meant that we were not able to use the bar in Mary & Eddys, and another morning unable to get breakfast in the bodega due to a private event. Would have been nice to have been aware of this beforehand, even just at check in, to know some of the facilities were not useable. A little communication would have solved this and reduced frustration i think, and as for the sound, maybe just invest in something for the hotel room doors that reduces sound coming into the room.

Our room was excellent. The staff exceptional. The experience at Mary Eddy restaurant was disappointing. Waiter forgot to put our order in!
