Excellent hotel. Our stay was very pleasant. The amenities were amazing, the gym has a lot of equipment and they even offer yoga sessions. Absolute gem of a hotel! Incredible value for money. Service: A+ The service is friendly & warm and you can tell that the staff really cares about the property. Kika at the front desk welcomed us, showed us our room & even made great suggestions for dinner (Zermatt Kitchen). Amenities: A+ We had the entire spa area to ourselves on a Saturday - 12pm onwards, with a few people joining after an hour or so. All very respectful & polite. Yes, the spa is nude & mixed male / female. BUT --> There are towels & thin fabrics provided to fully cover yourself. I am a bit conservative & shy, but did not feel uncomfortable at all. I say Go for it! Because the spa amenities really are top notch. You will be wow'ed. Cleanliness: A+ The cleaning staff works so, so hard. Hats off to you guys! Location: A+ Right near the train station. A 15 minute walk to the gondolas up for hikes. Restaurants everywhere. Casa Mia right next store is also lovely. We stayed at the height of hiking season (mid-late August). Will definitely stay here again. The management & team should be proud.

Great hotel in beautiful Zermatt. All around nice staff. Good breakfast options and loved the afternoon tea with snacks. Room was comfortable and clean. Although a bit noisy depending on who’s your neighbor, thin walls and we could hear the tv from the next room. Don’t get the square toilets. Hotel is only a few short minutes from the train station which is a bonus. Great pool and sauna. Would stay again.

Kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and friendly are the qualities I would use to describe each and every front desk personnel we encountered. Our room(s) were clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The restaurant only serves breakfast, and it is high quality. There is a buffet included, but you can also order some items for free (like omelets) or for a small additional cost. I only ate the included buffet - and it had everything you could want - fruit, cheese, meat, eggs, bread, yogurt, cereals...There is also an included tea time every afternoon! We stayed in the penthouse suite, and it was marvelous. It had a kitchen, dining room, 2 sitting areas, 3 bedrooms (each with their own bathroom), and a patio facing the Matterhorn. The suite was exceptionally clean - you can tell the staff really take care of it. I want to recognize the staff because they were the most friendly, polite, and helpful staff that I have ever encountered in a hotel. Seriously. They deserve some serious kudos. A really wonderful stay!!

We booked the penthouse and with its direct, sweeping view of the Matterhorn, it was nothing short of spectacular. The spa is also amazing as is the breakfast. Stayed 3 nights with a friend. The hotel is beautiful with lots of great amenities. Although there was no AC, I found the room comfortable with the Dyson fan provided and window open in the evening. Breakfast had a great selection. Always started the day fueled. the afternoon coffee, tea, cookies and cake were a very nice touch. The location is unbeatable - a very short walk to the trains and cable cars. Highly recommend and would stay here again. Friendly, helpful staff.

Great location, spa, pool and service. Rooms are nice, but Zermatt does not do AC. They did provide a Dyson fan, but it was so loud that it was not usable. The outside air temp.is perfect so no AC needed.

Wir hatten uns durch die guten Bewertungen und den hohen Preis mehr erwarten. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Man erreicht die Innenstadt von Zermatt sowie den Bahnhof in 2 min zu Fuß. Das Hotel an sich macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Bar in der Lobby sowie das Frühstück können wir sehr empfehlen. Zudem verfügt das Hotel über einen schönen Wellnessbereich. Leider waren wir von unserem Zimmer (Junior Suite) etwas enttäuscht. Bis auf das Bad und die Betten war das Zimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen… Abgeschlagene Türrahmen und eher durchschnittliche bis einfache Einrichtung. Zudem hatten wir ein schlechteres Zimmer erhalten welches direkt am Aufzug lag und daher sehr laut war, sodass wir nachts öfters aufgewacht sind. Wir hatten uns bei diesem Preis und bei dieser Zimmerkategorie auf eine bessere Lage im Haus mit Ausblick eingestellt, welchen wir leider nicht hatten. Zusammenfassend ist das Hotel mit dem Wellnessbereich an sich schön und in einer tollen Lage, jedoch sind die Zimmer nicht den Preis wert.

Stellar service! Beautiful rooms. Very nice spa amenities including sauna, steam room, and various showers with different refreshing essential oils and varying temperatures. One of our party became too ill to travel, and the hotel graciously helped us arrange an additional night stay. Our first room was booked, but they found us a new room just down the hall, made it possible to move directly from old room to new room immediately after checkout from first room without even bringing bags down to front desk. We would have loved the hotel regardless, but the kind compassionate professional service from the staff was phenomenal and really pushed Schloss Zermatt to the very top. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

Great location. Amazing team, comfortable beds, the BEST hospitality. I left my purse with my passport, bank card and all of my cash for the trip in Play room of the hotel over night. Got everything back in the morning by house keeping staff who took it to receptionist. So glad we stayed at SCHLOSS Zermat.

This property was centrally located and absolutely perfect for our trip. The staff was incredible and our room spacious and clean. The breakfasts were amazing as were the 3-5pm coffee and desserts they offered in the lobby every day. Perfect place to stay!!!!
