Zermatt Youth Hostel

駅から少し離れているため、バッグを運ぶのは少し大変。コインランドリーがあるので助かった。ドライヤーがないので持参するべきです。 朝食もついていて最低限の寝泊まりができます。少し歩くと中心街にも近いので便利です。

マッターホルンが窓から見える。共用スペースが広い。バス・トイレは各階に複数あるため利用者が多くても自分が使えないことがなかった。

Nice and clean hostel with a shared sink in each room. The shower stalls are clean, but a bit narrow (width: no enough to raise both elbows out to shoulder height) Good breakfast :) Just 1-2min walk from the bus stop. However, the bus doesn't come around as frequently as some other places. Also, it's a pretty small bus, so depending on your timing, it could get tough getting on board.

La chambre était très bien. Lits confortables. Très belle vue des montagnes environnantes. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir utiliser le frigo de la cuisine commune pour conserver notre nourriture. Avons aussi apprécié le petit déjeuner compris avec l’hébergement et aussi le fait qu’il y a une buanderie sur place pour laver et sécher le linge même s’il faut payer. Nous avons trouvé que l’endroit était situé un peu trop loin de la station de train. Il y avait beaucoup d’escaliers à monter.

There are two buildings, A&B with 4 story with no elevator

위치가 역에서 좀 먼것은 흠이지만 버스를 이용하면 편리합니다. 1층에서 바로 마테호른이 보여서 일출까지 구경할 수 있어 좋았습니다. 1인실은 직접 침구류 씌울 필요 없어 좋았고 깔끔 하고 넓었습니다. 다만 엘레베이터가 없고 방음이 잘 안됩니다. 공용 욕실도 조금 비좁습니다. 하지만 가격 대비 무척 만족합니다.

The most challenging part was the walk from the train station to the hostel. Many stairs and uphill. However, there are taxis available. Staff was extremely accommodating, great breakfasts, comfortable room and super clean, which I love. The kitchen area was spotless, as was the hostel throughout. Can’t say enough good things about the hostel.

Very clean, organized. Lots of space. Able to use lockers and shower after checkout so could still enjoy the day in Zermattt

The 4 person room was great. Amazing views. Good location. Just beware when we come of the steps to get up to the hostel. Breakfast was nice. No kitchen as a downside and not the best for meeting people. But absolutely would stay again

Unfortunately we stayed whilst a school group was staying. There was alot of running around the halls, screaming and shouting in the early morning and in the evening. You would have thought they would put the group in one building, but they were spread out all over the three buildings. The facilities were fine, but meal times were so loud that we had to eat ver quickly and leave. Optional Dinners were very worth it. Four courses and delicious. We also opted for fondue one night, delish! The beds were comfortable, the room was basic and clean. The shower played up abit, hot then cold. Overall it was good

Another awesome experience with Youth Hostels. Beautifully designed, very clean, very comfortable, chef at dinner is truly 1st class

家族で4人部屋に宿泊しました。 2段ベッドに上段は、小さい子どもだと、落ちないか不安になります。 6歳の子供を連れて行きましたが、下段に寝させました。 建物、部屋、はとても綺麗で、無料の朝食も美味しかったです。

Well what can I say, we arrived in Switzerland jumped on a train and eventually arrived in Zermatt not knowing what to expect. We are an older couple not particularly fit although we do walk quite a bit particularly when away. We struggled a bit to find the hostel despite me saving plenty of instructions to my phone, anyway we eventually worked it out with the help of Google maps and a bit of luck. Yes the steps were a bit steep and I was out of breath when I reached the top but all that was worth it when we arrived in our room. The staff were lovely when checking us in really friendly and did see if we could have the evening meal, however due to there being a school party staying there was no availability. The room was warm clean and basic just as we had expected. The view from the windows however far exceeded our expectations to the side was the village of Zermatt with houses and lights dotted all round, to the bottom of the bed was the Matterhorn stunning! The breakfast next morning was a continental breakfast with plenty of choice and again staff were friendly and helpful when you needed anything. I was also so pleased I booked a stay a bit further up in the village as It made us walk round and have a good look, had we been nearer the station a don't think we would of gone up as far as the hostel and missed some of the town. We also found although a bit longer, walking round the road way to the hostel was less strenuous. I would definitely return to this hostel. Thankyou

Fantastic view of the Matterhorn, clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff, and area to sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Unser Zimmer hatte eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Matterhorn. Wir waren absolut schockiert ab dem tollen View! Und das für diesen günstigen Preis. Die Jugendherberge war gut ausgestattet und mit dem Ortsbus einfach erreichbar.

Felt like sleeping just under the Matterhorn. Perfect for enjoying the mountains.

My family of four stayed here in a 4 bed bunk room with bathroom. Worked fine for us for two nights. Pretty quiet and functional. Easy access from the Main Street. Staff were very helpful. Cold Breakfast was good. View of the Matterhorn was excellent.

Stayed in a private room and we got an amazing view of the Matterhorn. The beds and pillows were comfy (the best in Switzerland so far). Not a super social hostel but they had a bunch of games in the main area. Served dinner each night if you wanted to buy. The breakfast was great!! So many different options and I liked it was all local. Would recommend to stay here! It is a trek from town with bags but very doable. The last little bit is via stairs (the way google took us) but you can get there via road to avoid the last steep set of stairs.

I am Silver customer so I have a welcome drink but the hostel don’t respect that, the people who are in there they are very unfriendly, we should remove this people there if they don’t want to work, ser Matt excellent but with these people make uglier the experience in this beautiful city.

Oldest guy at reception is very impolite Ithonk he is rasist he treated me as a criminal. I never use this place . Fxxx you MFr!

We really enjoyed staying at the Hostel in Zermatt. Friendly and efficient staff. Wonderful views from our spacious and airy room (in a new building adjacent to main building.) Tasty and ample cold breakfast buffet.

It was terrible, we have welcome drink and they didn’t give us, also was not comfortable the hostel, we try to take the breakfast at 9.05am and they said is already finish even when they said until 9.30, the receptionist bad customer service, always angry and doesn’t answer properly.

The only bad thing. Is the property is a little far from the town center and is about a 15 min hump up that hill. Other than that is pace is amazing all around ! Staff was excellent and friendly!

It's a great place to stay. It's clean and staff are friendly except from one kitchen staff who yelled at me in front of everyone having their breakfast at that time when I was getting coffee but instead of using their own mug, I've used my own flask to keep the coffee warm whilst having my breakfast. He just yelled 'NO NO NO. YOU CANNOT DO THAT. YOU CAN TAKE YOUR WATER BUT NOT COFFEE.' What's wrong with using you own flask? I'm not stealing their coffee? I'm drinking it with my breakfast. Is it now forbidden to use your own flask?

Great affordable location, there is a bit of a hike but there’s a free bus that goes next to it so you don’t have to climb the stairs.

체르마트에서 깔끔하게 이용가능한 도미토리 유스호스텔입니다. 체르마트역에서 걸어올라가는게 부담이 될 수 있지만 마테호른이 보이는 위치라는게 매력적입니다. 조식포함으로 아침을 먹을수있는게 좋았습니다. 조식은 일반적인 유럽 아침식사가 나옵니다. 온라인체크인을 하면 빠르게 입실가능합니다. 늦은체크아웃이나 침구정리 등 벌금규정이 있는것같으니 위반하지않게 잘 체크하는것이 좋겠습니다.

Excelente estadia! Um pouco longe do centro da vila, se você for a pé da estação de trem, prepare o físico, pois embora não seja uma caminhada tão longa, tem várias subidas e com as malas não é fácil! Mas a estadia em si, foi excelente, café da manhã incrível! Valeu muito a pena, recomendo!

Für Zermatter Verhältnisse eine bezahlbare Unterkunft. Gutes Frühstück war im Preis inbegriffen. Das buchbare Abendessen ist empfehlenswert.

Youth hostel that offers great breakfast included in daily rate. Its dinner is freshly cooked decent three courses for 20CHF, where any other restaurant in town start their main course at 25CHF. A budget friendly place for a few nights stay in Zermatt, considering how expensive the town is.

The e bus has stop 100 feet from hotel lucuert stop. The hotel is clean and quiet. Breakfast is typical European style but lacks a full breakfast selection. Buying the dinner service 6-7:30 each night Is both affordable and good. Would stay here again. I stayed in many 4-star hotels and the Zermatt Youth Hostel is cleaner than 4-star offerings.
