Hotel has been renovated since the last time I stayed, unfortunately parking is still an issue as they don’t have their on site facilities but at least it was a comfortable night sleep. Breakfast was average so I recommend outsourcing it in the nice bars in the area

Great 4 star hotel at a very reasonable price.. Nice reasonably price restaurant and nice bar. Breakfast was superb and the tiny waitress from Thailand who was there was great, a wonderful personality. Only drawback was the lift was not working and they tried to put us on the 3td floor, my wife just cannot do that many stairs so I asked for a room on a lower floor which ended up behind an upgrade at no extra cost.

The staff go above and beyond at this hotel! They were so helpful with everything! We were also delighted to get a room with a bath, as we just have a shower at home, so a hotel always gets a bonus point from me for keeping their baths in use! The Copthorne is in a great location for the restaurants and pubs of Aberdeen. There is no onsite parking, but we got the train into town, so didn't need parking. The only thing I maybe didn't like so much about the room we had was the white paint and cool white lighting. I like my decor and lighting a bit cosier. It was very bright and clean though, and the mirror especially was well lit - always a plus for those of us who will be applying make-up. If you pay for your breakfast when you check-in, it costs £11, which is excellent value. We also thought the breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely come back to the Copthorne.

the location is good for central Aberdeen, but be warned that the hotel no longer offer guest parking, this is not a big issue as there is a multi storey car park over the road.

We enjoyed our stay at the Copthorne Hotel. Met by friendly staff and received an upgrade. Although early a room was ready so were able to get into our room. Everything was really fresh and clean. The bed was really comfy. Also had wifi and live football if wanted to watch which you don't often get. Breakfast was really fresh and nice tasty produce. Great choices.

Our Club Room was a good size but really hot and stuffy and that was with the window open. There is a fan to use but noisy. There was a permanent smell of dampness around the hotel. Our experience at breakfast was poor. Selection of teas very poor as they were waiting on a delivery. Scrambled egg was solid,look warm and inedible as an example of the standard of poor quality of food offered. Overall found the staff to be disinterested and lacking in a passion for the job.

Staff were friendly, hotel within a 4 minutes walk to the shops and bars. The hotel was clean with very nice decor, the breakfast was great. The room was big and spacious with coffee and tea available, the bed was very comfortable and got a great sleep.

Rooms quite warm, but clean & comfy bed. Breakfast service was horrendous, 3/4 young staff on, didnt look like they had anyone managing them, they were run ragged due to the inefficiency of the kitchen (i presume) never were there ALL hot ingredients to choose a breakfast, either no bacon or eggs or beans or whatever else!! When they did produce something there was only a small amount at a time & obviously didnt last anytime as everyone was waiting!! These poor young staff were getting the brunt of the inefficiency of the kitchen. In saying that they couldnt even keep on top of the juices, cereals & milk on the fridge/cool station. The breakfast was served till 11am we were in at 9.10am, i counted 24 people at breakfast, i dread to think of the scenario of a full restaurant. Dont understand why the quantity 's werent larger when coming from kitchen to try & maintain a reasonable offer. Also need someone to manage breakfast staff so they have designated areas / jobs, instead of them all chasing their tails. Very disappointing end to our one night stay, has put us off from returning.

Big room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and in a convenient location. Unfortunately it was quite noisey due to other residents letting their doors slam closed behind them. This happened throughout the night. This was particularly bad during the weekends. Plus very squeaky floor boards. If I stayed here again I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

All room doors slam shut. No chance of a lie-in in the morning due to the constant banging of doors in the corridor. Please fit dampers to the doors! The quality of the TV reception in the room is awful. Standard terestial TV channels all pixelating, many standard channels missing. This is the age of streaming and cable. No excuse for bad reception. Unfortunately, I've had this at various hotels in Aberdeen, and elsewhere in the UK.

It was really obvious that this room had just been refurbished - it felt brand new! Think some of the bathroom was older but who spends their time in there? Everything was spotless. It was a pleasant surprise to see a mini fridge in one of the cupboards of the desk and I loved having the separate table and chair too. The chair was even more comfortable than the bed (which was great too). It was easy to pair the TV with my own devices and great to find I could open the window. I didn’t look into the location much before I booked but as someone who doesn’t drive this was really easy to find. Short walk from the city centre, just enough to make it quieter and easy to do without needing to get my phone out to check direction in the lane. The room was almost perfect but it was a bit frustrating not to have any power outlets by the bed. There’s USB-A built into the lamps but that doesn’t help if you use USB-C. I’ll remember an adapter next time. The only other negative was the way the rail to get out the bath sticks to far into the shower. With sticking to the curtain it didn’t leave much room. Bit those are really small points. I’ll definitely be back

Our room at the hotel was at the very back of the 3rd floor above a very busy street which was noisy, we were also near to the fire escape , smokers were constantly going down the stairs for a smoke and banging the fire escape door on their way back , our room was perfect but for our mattress, which was far too soft, the buffet breakfast was below average, we have stayed at this hotel a few times and this was our most disappointing visit

Reception staff are lovely. Room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. Shower was a little tight. Handles on wall a bit space constricting and bath is very slidy. Rubber seal on shower door waa broken so water went all over floor. The bar is good and and comfortable. We struggled to get service at times though, had to go to reception to get them to find the bar person. Breakfast was hot and tasty.

Food ordered in restaurant 6.30 pm last Friday never arrived. We felt extremely sorry for the delightful lady who was serving us and was very embarassed about the delay. She kept assuring us that the food was on the way, when it clearly wasn't. She was courteous, friendly and tried as hard as possible to get us our food, but we left after waiting 75 minutes and bought sandwiches and crisps from the Co-op instead.

We booked at last minute due to a cancelled flight and what a find! The Hotel is super modern, stylish and well maintained. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly, efficient and really helpful. Customer service is an important part of the overall experience and this was second to none in all areas, the reception, bar and restaurant. The room was clean, well presented and exactly what you expect from a hotel of this quality. Walking distance to Union Street down some lovely cobbled streets.

Car parking really nearby is fantastic. Room large and spacious, bathroom a bit dated and pillows are uncomfortable (caused a neck headache). Breakfast adequate, food average, orange juice heavily diluted. However, great price overall for the accommodation.

A great choice for My one night stay in Aberdeen. Location is ideal when having a night on the town. Rooms were comfortable, great bed. Food was nice but nothing special, however I did enjoy the breakfast. I was disappointed with a steak that was tough so maybe try something else. I'd certainly stay there again.
