The pool was nice, a bit cloudy but quite spacious and deep. The motel itself was picturesque and the rooms were very clean and well put together. Check in and Check out was super easy too.

This was a lovely motel with large rooms and great kitchenette facilities. The lovely pool has a good shallow kids area, and although small for the number of guests they can have, we were the only ones there that day, so there was no contest.

The laundry area needs bit a of an up grade. 1 washer and dryer for whole place with room for atleast one more of these stacked units if not two. Plus adding in large table for setting items down would be huge benefit. Need trash bin also and room swept up with other guests leaving removed. Clean place. Has potential to be really nice with just bit of scrub up. Breakfast ordered in came w only one packet butter when 2 pie was toasts in order is just silly - number butter should equal pieces of toast. People working front desk were friendly.

Shower was dirty. Crockery was filthy especially mugs. Looks like they had been washed less than a teenage boys undies. Massive hole in wall they tried to hide behind the bed. Someone probably had an amazing night there recently but I couldn't sleep properly as I was scared it was a glory hole for all the creepy crawlies. There was a cockroach in the bathroom too and an ant farm around the overfull bins and rubbish all over the ground.

Room 254 had cockroaches in the bathroom. The bathroom floor was wet, no milk was supplied and the fridge freezer is way, way overdue for a de-frost. Photos of the cockroaches were supplied on check-out. The staff made me feel like it was my fault that I didn\'t tell them soon enough. No discount offered. "It\'s not their policy!" Not good enough. Will never stay there again!

Good value and size of room and facilities. The only problem was a group started talking in the carpark loudly from 7am. Which the whole motel would have heard. No chance for a sleep on a Sunday morning.

Yes this is an older motel but they have done a great job of making your stay very comfortable. Reception staff were friendly, efficient and professional (even when my booking changed several times). The room was very large, bed very comfortable with good quality sheets.

Booked a Delux Queen Room, which was pretty basic but comfortable. Furniture was old, as was the general feel of the room but the sheets and towels were good quality and clean. This is a big hotel so a fair bit of noise comes from the large parking area from early morning as car doors and boots close as people are packing - not a problem if you are also leaving early. Overall an OK overnight stay.

The room in general had a comfortable bed, was clean, good size, good air conditioning. The room walls and ceiling are paper thin. You can hear everyone that is outside, in the next room and above you. Can get very noisy.

Large room and clean. Check in after hours and aircon turned on ready for our arrival. Quiet room. Only negative was staff smoking outside our door in the morning when we were getting ready to check out. Husband asked politely if they could smoke somewhere else as it was filling our room and their response was that all rooms are allowed smoking outside of them. Not a great attitude. When we were packing the car a group of young staff were all sitting around smoking together outside the rooms. Not a great look but that was the only negative. Better look for the motel if staff are not smoking outside rooms but that's just my opinion.

Rooms were generally clean although there were hints of a mould smell. The hotel laundry smoke alarm constantly went off during our first 2 days including at midnight. Staff were smoking on the property in front of guests. We were often unsure as to who the staff were, there were no real uniforms or even staff badges. Staff entered our room without knocking. The staff member had been told by their manager to enter even though it was before check out time and we had not checked out.

Great stay as always. The rooms are very large and having the kitchenette is wonderful. It’s location opposite the parklands and river makes stretching legs after a day’s driving very enjoyable.

Chose this hotel in particular because it has a restaurant advertised. After being on the road for 4 days we were looking forward to a meal at a restaurant without having to get back in the car again. And maybe have a couple of drinks in the bar. The compendium I. The room says it’s not open due to lack of staff. This needs to be updated as this is the exact reason we chose this hotel over all the others that also had rooms available. Room was comfortable and had a huge long shelf to put suitcases on which is brilliant. Big TV and location is quiet.

I had the best night's sleep in a hotel! The room was super quiet and the blockout curtains are great. Just really comfortable even though the motel was pretty much booked out. Shame the restaurant and bar weren't open.
