Lovely hotel, but of a maze trying to find the room in endless corridors. Would be nice if the pool was heated as the kids were a bit gutted. Room was a good size and good selection of TV channels. Food was decent at the bar too Tablet table in the kids area wasn’t working and the staff didn’t really seem to help at all? Also the bathrooms could do with new silicone as there was some mould around the tub. Minor things really

We booked the Holiday Inn Auckland Airport as it was listed with "Shuttle Available", but the shuttle is just the yellow hotel bus from the airport, which costs NZ$8 per person each way, plus NZ$0.50 tax, which added an additional $34 to our stay. The room was reasonably clean and modern, and breakfast was fine, but the hotel itself is quite dated, and the carpet in the corridors and common areas is stained and looks grubby. Also, the hotel is on two levels, but there is no elevator, which means if you have luggage you have to lug it up and down the stairs. Would not stay again.

The property is very closely located to Auckland airport and you can easily jump on highway to get to CBD or go down south. There is ample free parking which is a bonus as most places either don't have parking and if they do is very expensive. The Staff were exceptional from moment we checked in till we checked out- very friendly and accommodating. The overall rooms and some parts of the hotel seem little old/ run down due to age but from the convivence, exceptional staff and overall charges- I would highly recommend this place and will def stay again.

It was ok for an airport hotel for the night, but carpets were dirty & the whole place was run down and had a musty odor. Even booking 2 rooms months in advance & requesting adjoining rooms for our family of 5, we were split into 2 rooms across the gal from each other, which is a big inconvenience, requiring 1 adult to stay in each room. Buffets didn’t have much variety. Staff was pleasant. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The food was good, we ate in the bar, had a pizza and it was delicious. The buffet breakfast had a great variety to choose from, also you can order your eggs the way you like them. A great location from the airport however the hotel needs new carpet in all areas. The room needs deep clean especially the carpet as you can tell by the smell. My allergy started the moment we entered the room and didn't have a good night sleep because of too much dust in the air.

The hotel was very convenient for the airport with the yellow bus pick for $8 which is why we chose it. However it is very dated and no usb sockets in the rooms plus it was a shower over the bath, very slippy and you needed to be tall as the shower was so high up! We had an early flight but weee disturbed all night by either people chatting loudly in the hall, doors banging and people running up and down overhead. Basically all the walls are very thin!

Pleasant staff, great location. Sadly the onsite function centre runs through to late hours and with no noise restrictions this prevents a good night’s sleep. 2 nights here and noise was an issue for entire stay. Rooms are run down. Ideal for a stop in sleep stop overnight in and out. Sadly won’t be returning

We arrived very late, but there was someone to help us at the front desk. He was very nice and very helpful and gave excellent instructions. The libby was very neat and clean and elegantly decorated. Once we got into our room, we found it to be exactly as advertised, and very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable and we enjoyed a lovely nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

Normally I'd rate this hotel highly but this last trip... Reception called my room late in the evening, after I was asleep in bed. Waking me just because they forgot to take a $50 credit hold on my card! Obviously I was not getting up and dressed just to visit Reception for that! The phone in the room sounds like a piercing smoke alarm going off. Couldn't get back to sleep for some time. My complaint here really relates to one non-thinking front desk staff member. I would give this hotel another go in future and I have rated them 4 stars following past business stays.

Hotel was within close drive to the airport as I was meeting husband late at night from flight from Singapore. Check in was slow with a long queue and I was 3rd in line (3 more behind)with one check in receptionist. Buffet dinner and breakfast not particularly hot but good selection.

Good location for the airport, good transport links. Good location for a lot of car hire places with good onsite parking. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site is fairly expensive (though I would recommend cafe avión only 10 mins walk away) and some kids toys in the area where it looks designed to have some would be a nice bonus

The Hotel location and price was good for us, suiting our needs perfectly. But the buffet dinner was terrible. $45 per person for a very limited and only luke warm selection. Soup was just warm, veggies limited and also luke warm. Meat dishes were bland and again, luke warm. Our buffet breakfasts were a little better, but sadly our food experiences took the shine off our hotel stay. Would stay at the Hotel again, but would dine elsewhere.

This is a well priced hotel with basic facilities. Great for a quick overnight stay when flying in or out of the country. Staff were very nice. Beds were super comfy. Facility is a little run down but you look past all of that because it’s cheap. The buffet dinner was not good.

The dishes were dirty and kettle had rust and mold on inner coil. One cup had lip prints on it. No hot water for morning showers. Informed front desk on checkout and was given coffee voucher. Definitely not up to Holiday Inn standard.

The hotel was nice. The rooms were good. The hallways are dated. The breakfast was amazing. I would stay there again just for the breakfast. It has fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, the whole works.
