We booked here for the pool but they didn’t mention it was under maintenance. We were given 4 drink vouchers as compensation. Kids had a bath instead but I took 40 mins to full up to half way. Our room also had milk or yogurt spilt on the ground and not cleaned properly! Just a very disappointing trip.

We love staying at the grand millennium and this is our 4th visit now. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. The pool is excellent and great for the children. The one drawback was having to park at the civic this time round as the hotel car park was full so it did cost us more that we initially planned for but that’s a small drawback. Next time we come up we’re going to try the breakfast as it’s usually out of our budget but it looks so good in the restaurant in the morning.

Our stay with Grand Millennium Auckland was fantastic. We purchased a Club Access room which was very worthwhile. The food in the Club lounge was fresh and delicious. Pre Covid we used to come to GM and enjoyed the Club deal too. We did miss not being able to order a hot breakfast in the lounge this time...but that's the only criticism we have. Loved everything! Thank you.

Perfect location as we went to a concert at the Town Hall. Very close to lots of cheap eats and shopping. We had booked a Club Room which included access to the Club Lounge, parking and breakfast. Great time had at the lounge with canapés and drinks, and breakfast had lots of choices.

Very dirty for a hotel. Corridors are filthy looking. Carpets needs changing. Perhaps the elevator and corridor doors and walls needs changing. Not very appealing entering the vicinity. The parking premises was disgusting, chairs and desks taking up parking space. No where to park. The fire exits have been used as a way in and out of the hotel. Very filthy looking. The elevator is disgusting and very dodgy, seems broken or about to break. I can not imagine how waiters bring food in and out of that elevator cause how unhygienic it looks with out covering trolleys full of deserts and things. Very unpleasant to look at and witness.

The rooms are fine, if relatively basic. Room service menu is very limited and does not offer a wide range of options. Pity too the Japanese restaurant has no menu any longer and is only a buffet offering. Staff are helpful (especially the front of house gentleman at the breakfast restaurant). However, there was one day the room was not serviced at all

Staff didn't want to to be at work and couldn't get a smile from one of them. Bed was poor with no support. Bathroom Bath tub hadn't been cleaned with other guests toe nail clippings left. very dispaopointing visit didnt stay for the full period.

The location is close to Sky City Tower and a short walk to the harbour. Excellent breakfast and dinner options. Service was excellent. However, the room was too warm, the aircon took a long time to cool it down and I couldn't leave it on overnight because it was too noisy. I had to do a lot of online conference meetings and the lighting in the room was not great. I

Overall, it was really clean and very central to Auckland, and I had only a few very specific nitpicks. Grand Millennium is a bit old-fashioned for my taste. They are renovating floor by floor and had not gotten to the 11th yet, so all the trim and decor was pretty dated. Staff were friendly and helpful, although the concierge mostly just used google maps to recommend places upon request, which I could do myself. I wish that the junior suite had a desk or even an outlet anywhere near the table; I had to do work in the lobby.

Really nice, big room. The only thing is there is a really big bathtub and a really small shower! Low water pressure in the shower but the toilet ran for like a minute and flushed crazy and splattered water everywhere! I reported it at checkout because surely there was something wrong with that toilet!

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. And the washroom was large with a tub and separate shower. The restaurant was great and there was a coffee bar in the lobby. Very convenient. I would stay here again.

Upgraded room with a comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom with a tub. Very clean and tidy, the only issue was that the light switch turned on all lights in the room (except for some very dim beside lamps) would have been nice to be able to select a light or two

Drain was blocked in shower and upon calling reception, no one came to repair it. Also it became a mission to find our booking at the hotel eventhough we provided our reference and booking number. A simple error like putting first name and last name from the receptions end had us wait for almost an hour .. we had to even explain to the lady at the counter to switch surname and 1st name to check but still it seems she was struggling with english. Had bad experience however we liked the lobby of the hotel and bed in our room. Cant complain about the location also. Please update your service desk and maintenance team

The hotel is borderline 4 stars. If valuated as a 3.5 stars, it is very good. It is also very family and children friendly. Business travellers may consider quieter options closer to CBD. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The exercise room was well equipped but noisy due to adjacent pool fillled with playful children; definitely not adult swim friendly. Reception and concierge were friendly and helpful, though the check in process was overly extensive resulting in long queues. The breakfast had a good variety and the restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. Recommended for families with children.

Room was too dark with lights on in bedroom. Aircon was not cold enough. Fan control on high speed was like being on low speed.Old style aircon units in ceiling. Waiting at reception to check in and check out .Only one staff member. Service to slow .

That shower was low pressured so it was really unpleasant for a five star hotel and the buffet breakfast was really disappointing to say the least for the Price. would definitely not be having the breakfast at that hotel again

The location is very accessible to main attractions- skyline, walking distance to shopping center . Only comments is the breakfast menu are all the same everyday. Suggestions, should have a variety/different menu every day. Overall the breakfast are good.

Reception staff were great. Housemaid also very good. Breakfast at restaurant was over crowded. Waited 20mins for food, plates to be replenised. Staff tried really hard to keep up however not enough staff to satisfy the demand. I missed on the full breakfast as 5-6 dishes were out and wait was too long. Otherwise i enjoyed my stay
