This is a beautiful old property run by great people. The owners were very helpful, and Ally, who was on for breakfast each day is a real star. Her croissants are the BEST! Having constant access to the lounge, with tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolates a real treat. Location is fabulous, walkable to everything. Note that this is a very old house, so the floors creak. We loved our stay.

A lovely old-world room, beautifully appointed with period furniture and charming antiques that create a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. The continental breakfast, served in the elegant communal dining room, was excellent, with a wonderful variety of delicious options to choose from. The selection of teas, served in delicate porcelain teacups, was a delightful touch that perfectly complemented the experience. We had a very comfortable overnight stay, and the electric blanket was especially appreciated on a chilly night. Highly recommended.
