Breakfast buffet is awesome! My family enjoyed it. Getting out of the parking garage is a little bit challenging but having a parking is definitely a plus! Hotel staff/receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that our room wasn’t ready in time for our check in.

Good quality hotel with good front desk staff. The room was very large and well furnished. Nice gym with a good mix of equipment and my wife enjoyed the small dry sauna. Garage was under the hotel and fairly big, but was 25 Euro a night (I recommend booking a nearby spot for less than half that f you don't mind the inconvienence). Location was moderately close to the center (15 minutes walk) and a block or two down from metro/tram stops.

Good hotel. Modern in many ways and a spacious room. Nice gym. Washroom needed more attention for cleaning. Cleaner wanted us to vacate our room for cleaning purposes 2 hours before checkout. Definite language barrier but didn’t want to take no for an answer.

The atmosphere, wait staff and food at the restaurant were fantastic and the variety of options available at the daily breakfast brunch was outstanding! Our bed was very comfortable and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job taking care of our every need. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Goede locatie op loopafstand van de meeste Brusselse bezienswaardigheden. Parkeergarage onder hotel is ideaal al is het in en uitrijden wel een kleine uitdaging. Kamer, bar, fitness strak en zeer netjes, maar voor de sauna moet je het niet doen (klein). Personeel ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was ons te duur.

We arrived on a day where the systems were being upgraded, and a few issues with our room, but the staff worked their hardest to sort it out. Pros: - The staff were excellent. Some might be a little inexperienced and had to go up the chain, but the willingness to help was definitely there, especially on a day when systems were being upgraded and everyone was stressed. - Location was decent. 5 mins walk to the metro, walkable to the old town as well as food and shops. Quiet in the evenings. Cons: - The hotel room was stifling HOT as air conditioning wasn't on yet this time of year. With the huge windows, the temperature was like a sauna at times. Might be better in later part of year when aircon is turned on. - The initial room we were put in was a little weird. There was ciggerette smells in the room, the kettle had soap in it. - Room condition was a little dated. Shower kept leaking water out into the main area.

My wife and I stayed at the Thon Hotel in Brussels while attending a wedding, and unfortunately, we left feeling more exhausted than when we arrived, due to persistent disturbances from housekeeping. Despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door each morning, housekeeping knocked repeatedly and even called our room phone to ask if we wanted cleaning service. Then proceeded to bang their vacuum against our door. This happened every day of our stay, making it impossible for us to sleep in and rest up for the evening events we were attending. On the fifth day, we stepped out of our room and politely asked housekeeping in the hallway for two fresh towels. The response was unexpectedly rude, we were told “no” because a €5 bar voucher had already been placed under our door. We explained that we didn’t want or use the vouchers, and after not taking no for an answer (we needed new towels), a second staff member reluctantly handed over towels. This was not the level of hospitality we expected. We’ve stayed in many hotels and have never had to complain about service before, but this experience left us disappointed. Based on this, we don’t plan to return to the Thon Hotel. Our room’s bathroom’s glass door was also broken and didn’t close. Room 32.

This hotel was a great value and had a lot of character. We enjoyed our room because it was extremely spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and even upgraded our room because we asked for a large bed. I think this hotel has everything if you're looking for a good value place to stay with a little bit of character and in a great location. I would stay there again.

I have stayed at the Thon several times before, whenever I visit family in Brussels, and have always given glowing reviews and have been very satisfied with my stays. I had booked this stay some while ago as a pay at the property deal as I usually do. I arrived at the hotel just before 21:00 after a family dinner. I was astonished to be told that the hotel was overbooked and no rooms were available due to the school holidays. I was offered an apartment in the Residence Stephanie which I had no option but to accept. I was offered a free breakfast as some compensation. The Residence is a block and a half from the hotel, but fortunately it wasn't raining. The apartment was adequately sized with all the facilities you would expect in a serviced apartment, however none of these were actually of use to me as I was only staying one night. The bed was comfortable but due to the layout of the apartment there were no bedside tables, nor were there reading lights that could be turned out from the bed. I also found the apartment quite noisy with a lot of street noise, despite it not facing directly onto Avenue Louise, The bathroom and shower were clean and very good. I returned to the Hotel in the morning for breakfast and complained to the check in staff about being moved and the noisy apartment, however all I got was a promise that the next time would be a better experience. The breakfast was, as always, excellent with a great choice of cold and hot food.

Check in said 2pm but room wasn’t ready until 5pm. Bag was lost in the bag drop but was eventually found. The bag was moved to a different room. There was no bin in the main room either only a bin in the bathroom. Apart from that bed was very comfy and spacious room. And good location

The breakfast was really good and the room was great too, especially the shower and the bed. Just a few things; we reported that the light in the shower did not switch off at any given time, therefore it was on straight for days and nights, to our surprise this was not fixed after reporting, the hotel mentions that they have a green policy, so this did not match. Another thing was that we sent a message to the hotel 4 days in advance however they did not respond until I asked again, now I understand that the reception can be busy so this was not my issue, the issue was that we never got a response on our question, when we arrived to the hotel, nobody wanted to help with our question, no pro-activity whatsoever, I am really sorry if the question was difficult, but it was where we would be able to watch F1. It was first on the next day when we insisted for them to help us with it that they decided to call a sports bar which confirmed that they were showing the game. Very disappointing and it truly felt we were not cared for - if we had known the answer, we would never have asked. Service was way below average and not what you would be expecting from a 4 star hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Thon Hotel for a week and felt exhausted every morning. We have never had to leave a hotel with a complaint before. House keeping was ridiculous. We left the “Do Not Disturb” card on the door and they proceed to wake us up every morning by either knocking, and/or calling us on the phone to ask if we needed our room clean. We were here for a wedding and had late nights, to where we needed to sleep in for the next evening of events. We could never sleep in all because of housekeeping. Upon that, housekeeping would consistently bang their vacuums against our door, as well. Lastly, about 5 mornings in, we had opened our door to housekeeping in the hallway. We asked if we could get new towels and the first woman just flat out told us “No” because they had already slipped some €5 voucher for their bar, under our door. We told them we didn’t want the vouchers (never used them) and the second housekeeping person in the hall reluctantly gave us new towels. There are more stories of annoyance from Housekeeping, but these are the major events that left us unhappy. We are not fans of this hotel and won’t be returning.

Absolutely nothing that I could really fault during this stay. The room that we had (we were given an upgrade), was really massive. The room was very clean., it was well laid out and just pleasant to stay in. Another plus was that it is right at the back so away from the main Avenue Louise so was very quiet. Reception and other staff were just excellent throughout of our stay. Absolutely nothing to fault and lots to compliment about them. Very help knowledge of the local area. Breakfast was typically excellent. A wonderful selection and the staff were really helpful and attentive, Lots of facilities to use in this place, but we sadly did not have time to use them all. Overall all that I can say is that we had a brilliant stay and that was in a large part cause by the wonderful staff on site.

Easily accessible via Louise Metro station or tram. Nicely decorated facade and lobby area. The room was a good size and welll equipped. A lovely breakfast at this hotel. The staff were lovely upon checking in. I have been here a few times before in recent years, and it is pleasing to see that the hotel has maintained high standards.

We had a lovely long weekend at this hotel. Lovely neighbourhood and a short walk from both Eurostar and also up to Metro Louisa. The superior room was great, as we had the large sofa bed for our teenage daughter too. Great time.

We loved this place. We booked the Superior room and they upgraded us to the Deluxe room with sauna. Having our own sauna was great. The rooms are huge, nicely furnished with plenty of storage space, great bathroom, beautiful view. The hotel is well maintained. Personnel is very attentive, they have sweet treats for guests every afternoon. The area is a little away from the Grand Place, about a 20 min walk to the Palace, Museums and Park, but the location is great, all the best stores are walking distance and there's plenty of good restaurants nearby. The tram stops in front of the hotel and the metro is a couple of blocks away. We definitively recommend the place and will go back to it if we return to Brussels.

La stanza era spaziosa, pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. La posizione perfetta, direttamente su Avenue Louise, una via piena di negozi e servita dai mezzi. Il personale gentile, disponibile e professionale. Scelta perfetta per un soggiorno in famiglia. L'unica pecca un sottopassaggio frequentato da barboni se si vuole attraversare la strada in quel punto ma si può evitare attraversando prima o dopo.

We had a lovely stay! The breakfast was outstanding - especially the potatoes, chia pudding, and huge amount of freshly baked choices! The hotel is big but staff were always friendly and helpful. Our room was bigger than it looked in photos and although a great, well connected location it was quiet in the hotel at night. Well maintained and well equipped, nice eco friendly additions.
