Only one robe and slippers in a room for two people, got charged £150 on arrival randomly and was refunded this back but it wasn’t told to us until we arrived, pool was so cold and sauna is being refurbished - again, weren’t told, online says kids until 6pm & there was kids jumping in the pool at 7, again it said it shut at 10pm and shut at 8! Very misleading rules and staff that aren’t enforcing it. Other than that, was an okay stay but probably wouldn’t return.

Don’t stay here if you have children. The hotel has a discriminatory and unfair policy regarding its pool hours, whereby children may not use the pool after 6pm. It’s a ridiculous policy since families travelling on vacation are likely exploring the city during the day, which only allows the evening to enjoy the hotel facilities. We would have booked another hotel if this policy was known. We shared screenshots of the Marriott website and the Marriott app that do not disclose the discriminatory pool hours for children. It was only after we pointed out the non-disclosure did management update the website. Other items of note: - The location is not great - Restaurant staff are not very friendly and welcoming - Front desk and housekeeping staff were pleasant - Rooms and common areas are upgraded and modern We would recommend staying somewhere else on your family trip.

We had a conference in this hotel, The bar was open only until 10 o’clock in the evening without any flexibility and seat availability for breakfast is very limited for the total number of guest. Positive remark is the professional and courtesy of the staff.

Scaffolding outside the hotel and no mention of it on the website or even on check in. When we went to our room, our window had scaffolding outside. Work men started at 8am banging... when we complained they did not do anything, they just said they had complaints from other guests also. Staff didnt care. Pool area is a disgrace, mould everywhere and not pleasent. It is such a shame this hotel could be a great hptel.

A scaled-back operation from what it was some years ago (the dining area is noticeably smaller, there's no jacuzzi at the pool area any more and the swimming pool area could do with a make-over), this is nonetheless still my favourite hotel and it's a pleasure to stay here. I hope to be back very soon!

Leider war der Pool während des gesamten Aufenthaltes geschlossen. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man das Hotel bewusst wegen der Möglichkeit zum Schwimmen auswählt. Auch die Zeitangaben zum Frühstück auf Hotels.com stimmen nicht mit der Realität überein. Somit haben wir am ersten Morgen den Tag ohne Frühstück begonnen. Sehr ärgerlich. Ebenfalls gab es nur einen Bademantel in einem Doppelzimmer. Wirklich nicht nachvollziehbar, wenn zwei Personen gebucht wurden.

Un séjour décevant. Chambre King sinz pour cinq personnes . En arrivant je constate un evier de salle de bain cassé, baignoire remplis de cheveux , sous le lit un nid de poussière avec des objets d’anciens clients, une clim jamais nettoyé. Moquette remplis de tache, il y a eu tellement de chose que je serais même plus l’es énumérer… Un lit devait être mis à disposition pour notre fille de 4ans je ne l’ai pas vu durant notre séjour. Hôtel insalubre et je trouve ça vraiment dommage car à l’extérieur tout s’y prête . Payer 700€ pour ce genre de chambre je trouve ça vraiment décevant. Ça m’a vraiment déçu de la Belgique

Found out at check in that they were going to take a deposit for ‘extras’. I explained that I wouldn’t be having any ‘extras’ but she took the money anyway. Had I known previous to check in that they required a deposit I would have budgeted accordingly! I now have to wait 72 hours from checking out yesterday to get my deposit back. Room was nice, beds super comfy and clean. 2 bottles of complimentary water, tea/coffee/kettle, no milks. Only downside to the room was the bathroom. Not upto my standard, Dirty/stained along shower screen, toilet stained, bath where you stand to shower looks black, could be better. Overall was a decent stay.

Read a number of negative reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by room, comfort and service. Hotel is well located close to number of EU institutions, but not ideal if you are in Brussels for tourism. Beside the hideous carpets in the hallways, common areas have ok decoration. Furniture in rooms might be a bit dated, but rooms are nice, on the spacious side and with good, hard beds. The complementary WiFi is rather slow. Did not try the pool or gym. Ate at one of the restaurants in hotel, which served good food at decent prices.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, which was perfect for us with our two daughters. The bathroom was clean and large, and the buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious. The pool had a wonderful view that made our time there even more special.

Everyone I spoke to at the hotel was friendly and helpful - the room was a great size and comfortable. Great shower! The location of the hotel was perfect for us, with lots of day trips planned - the train station just a minute away and the metro also easily walkable. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

For the price the room was too shabby. The shower gave more water from the connection than the showerhead. Toilet had a waterstain that looked horrible. Most drawers in the room were hard to open. It all looked worn out. Personell was very helpfull and friendly. The location of the hotel was good for me as I had an appointment in the EU parliament building which was 5 minutes walk. Overall not worth the price

Personnel cordial et bilingue. Fontaine à eau aux étages et wifi appréciables. Buffet petit-déjeuner vraiment fabuleux. En revanche, le responsable du restaurant est tout simplement imbuvable. La présence des clients ne le dérange en rien pour sermonner son personnel. Désagréable au possible. Quant au confort de la chambre, le vitrage n'empêche pas d'être réveillé aux aurores par le passage des camions poubelles ou des bruits extérieurs. Chasse d'eau défaillante. Pas de brosse pour nettoyer les toilettes. Pas de tv connectée. Linge de toilettes en nombre insuffisant en fonction du nombre d'occupants. Horaires restrictifs de la pisicine pour les enfants si bien que nous n'avons pas pu en profiter. Couette aussi épaisse qu'une feuille de papier. Robinet de douche qui nous est resté dans les mains quand on a voulu le lever. Pour un Marriott 4 étoiles, on a connu mieux et au regard du prix, on s'attend à autre chose.

The hotel it's was lovely. The rooms where really big and looked a lot more nicer than I thought it was going to be for the price. Staff where friend, and the pool was a bonus. The only downside was the Poet restaurant, absolutely awful customer service and actually rude. We went down for a coffee mid morning and the stuff said there was no need to book for our meal in the evening for our dad's 70th birthday. When we arrived in the evening a lady who claimed to be the owner of the poet restaurant stated that we had to make a reservation which we told her we where informed the opposite. She was really rude saying it, and there was clearly tables free. She made zero effort to be helpful. She could see we have a 1 year old and 2 year old and was out rude and even stated 'well I'm the owner and I'm telling you'. It was a freezing day and we wanted to stay it. DO NOT GOT TO THE RESTAURANT, its also over priced for what it is. A shame as the restaurant let the hotel down.

Traveling family of five w a lot of luggage. From start to finish the service provided here was simply outstanding. We arrived to check-in later than expected and the concierge made our arrival seamless. They took care of getting our bags to our room so we could eat dinner at their restaurant, which was about to close. The restaurant, meal and service were great. Our server was very helpful and informative about the area. Late check out and luggage storage was accommodated. We were so very pleased w everyone and everything from start to checkout.

Everyone I spoke to at the hotel was friendly and helpful - the room was a great size and comfortable. Great shower! The location of the hotel was perfect for us, with lots of day trips planned - the train station just a minute away and the metro also easily walkable. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Location is quite good. Centre is about a 20 min walk. The check in process was terrible. From the time that we arrived at the hotel to us checking in, parking, and then talking luggage up to the room it took an hour. Directions to the underground parking were not given clearly. No porter services or help was provided despite us asking for help as we had a lot of luggage. On the day we were checking out we were in fact told to just use the Porter trolley ourselves. The hotel building itself is ok and the location isn’t bad. But due to the experience we received from the staff we will not be returning to this hotel.

Found out at check in that they were going to take a deposit for ‘extras’. I explained that I wouldn’t be having any ‘extras’ but she took the money anyway. Had I known previous to check in that they required a deposit I would have budgeted accordingly! I now have to wait 72 hours from checking out yesterday to get my deposit back. Room was nice, beds super comfy and clean. 2 bottles of complimentary water, tea/coffee/kettle, no milks. Only downside to the room was the bathroom. Not upto my standard, Dirty/stained along shower screen, toilet stained, bath where you stand to shower looks black, could be better. Overall was a decent stay.

Read a number of negative reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by room, comfort and service. Hotel is well located close to number of EU institutions, but not ideal if you are in Brussels for tourism. Beside the hideous carpets in the hallways, common areas have ok decoration. Furniture in rooms might be a bit dated, but rooms are nice, on the spacious side and with good, hard beds. The complementary WiFi is rather slow. Did not try the pool or gym. Ate at one of the restaurants in hotel, which served good food at decent prices.

Personnel très aimable et pret à m'assister, chambre très confortable et spacieuse, y compris la salle de bain. Rien à voir avec ces douches où on a du mal a ne pas rester coller à la douche tout le temps. J'ai beaucoup aimé la qualité du savon. Le petit déjeuner a été une bonne surprise - tel qu'on trouve rarement dans les hôtels de ce niveau de nos jours, malgré le prix payé. Chez Renaissance il y avait un grand choix de produits de qualité, y compris de légumes frais ou en plat. Le petit bémol est le menu du restaurant au cas où on serait amené à y diner. Mais à cause de la localisation de l'hôtel, les alternatives sont à portée de la main.

Leider war der Pool während des gesamten Aufenthaltes geschlossen. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man das Hotel bewusst wegen der Möglichkeit zum Schwimmen auswählt. Auch die Zeitangaben zum Frühstück auf Hotels.com stimmen nicht mit der Realität überein. Somit haben wir am ersten Morgen den Tag ohne Frühstück begonnen. Sehr ärgerlich. Ebenfalls gab es nur einen Bademantel in einem Doppelzimmer. Wirklich nicht nachvollziehbar, wenn zwei Personen gebucht wurden.

Room was lovely and clean and spacious enough for us both with comfortable beds. The breakfast is nice with several options and seemed fresh and good quality ingredients. The biggest negative was the fact when we arrived we were told the Pool was not available due to maintenance. This was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel and so was extremely disappointed about this and was given no prior notice. If I had known I probably wouldn't have booked this hotel. We weren't offered anything such as late check out etc that may have made it more palatable.
Room was lovely and clean and spacious enough for us both with comfortable beds. The breakfast is nice with several options and seemed fresh and good quality ingredients. The biggest negative was the fact when we arrived we were told the Pool was not available due to maintenance. This was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel and so was extremely disappointed about this and was given no prior notice. If I had known I probably wouldn't have booked this hotel. We weren't offered anything such as late check out etc that may have made it more palatable.

The hotel was fantastic, the room was spacious and well stocked. The bathroom was large and well maintained too. The only negative was the loud noise from morning to end of afternoon due to construction. I completely understand that renovation is necessary in this kind of establishment: I just wish this inconvenience would have been mentioned at the time of my booking.
