It is a lovely hotel within walking distance of restaurants and the Grand Place. We did the Dining in the Dark and it is a unique experience. Fredrick the bar tender is great and the staff as a whole was wonderful We stayed there in the middle of a 14 day trip as the information on hotels.com said they had laundry service. I even sent them an email to confirm which they did. When we checked in a Friday at 2 pm we were told there was no laundry service on the Weekend and not laundry bags in our room. A quick conversation with staff and our laundry was picked up and returned five hours later...a big help.

Beautiful, boutique hotel nestled on a back street close to the center of the city. Within walking distance of most sites and close to a major park. The Hotel itself is charming, and the staff accommodating and lovely. Breakfast offers a nice variety of tasty offerings and there is a dinner service offered in the very pretty courtyard in the evenings which we found absolute delicious. I would recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back again.

Once inside the Stanhope Hotel in Brussels it is a nice Hotel. It had a great fitness center for us. Our room was pleasant. It was a good size & the bathroom was ample with good lighting. The bed was comfortable & it was quiet at night. The breakfast was located in a lovely area of the Hotel. It was a very good breakfast, however, the staff was coffee challenged & one day it was good, the next it was awful. They need some training on that level. We didn't realize that the Hotel is mostly a business Hotel & is not located near the City Center. We had difficulty in finding restaurants close by & had to walk a ways to find them. Also, to get to the Palaces, museums, etc., we walked quite a ways through very industrial areas, with heavy construction & traffic all around plus very noisy streets. Although the Hotel was nice, we would not stay in this particular area again.

My son and I spent New Year’s here and even though it was freezing, and my son had a little tummy ache the staff was very kind and brought him some tea and macaroons on the house. They were so kind. The area is really great to walk. there’s plenty of shopping with high-end boutiques as well as many restaurants. It’s not far from Joe and the juice which is my favorite place as well as exkiCafé. I love the sauna is my favorite part of the hotel. We had a suite and it had a great view of the garden. It was an amazing place to spend New Year’s.

My husband and I traveled to Brussels to celebrate our anniversary, and we had a truly wonderful experience at the Stanhope Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and took excellent care of us throughout our two-night stay. We loved the thoughtful touches, such as the special treats available daily in the reception area for guests. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant, where the service was both professional and top-notch. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully prepared. To our delight, we were even greeted with an anniversary card and gift upon arrival—such a lovely surprise! A huge thank you to the hotel manager for making our stay extra special. The Stanhope is located in an area that is very walkable from the historic area of the city but seemed much quieter than properties closer to the Grand-place/ Grote Markt. Our room was very clean, spacious and beautifully restored. Small touches like a fresh rose in the bathroom showed that we were indeed, staying someplace special. The staff were all kind and helpful. We would definitely stay in the hotel again , should we return to Brussels.

I really love Stanhope hotel and like to stay there when in Brussels. Only thing this time was that my room was really warm and the AC didn’t seem to work. As I had a loft room it was even hotter upstairs in the sleeping area, and the bathroom was like a sauna due to the floor heating. I had to open the window for a few hours to let the worst heat out.

The room was really big and impressive. On the first night there was a lot of noise from the street, so they moved me to a different room. The service was good. I didn't eat at the restaurant, as it was expensive compares to other options around. It is easy to arrive from the airport, and it is around 20 mins (walking) from the center. There is a nice park near the hotel.

First time visiting Brussels and this hotel was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the decor of hotel and the room. I was extremely comfortable. Walking to city center is about 15/20mins. The hotel is perfectly placed where you are close enough to the fun but not the noise. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Hôtel neuf et luxueux proche du Palais Royal et à 20 min à pied de la Grand'Place. Chambre très spacieuse et joliment décoré. Petit-déjeuner copieux mais qui mériterait une autre gamme pour les produits laitiers et un meilleur choix de viennoiseries surtout quand cela coûte 30 euros. Personnel attentionné et à l'écoute. Nous reviendrons.
