Lovely room with balcony overlooking the pool and canal. It was nicely furnished with everything we needed for an overnight stay. The pool was beautiful. It was a short walk to the beachfront with a range of cafes, restaurants, and shops. Only problem is that there are not enough parks, so you have to be lucky to snag one close to your unit.

Room was spotless, clean,bright,air-conditioning was on when we arrived so beautiful and cool. Staff very friendly. Pools very clean in and around the grounds,fantastic bbq area in the pool zone. Bbq tools,paper towel and cleaning equipment provided. Will definitely be back. We didnt want to leave. We had a self contained room with all cooking appliances, large fridge,washing machine,dryer,dishwasher the lot.

We were fortunate to be in one of the 4 storey blocks which had a lift and basement parking. It had a balcony overlooking the pool area, but was private when sitting outside. Our room was a studio with king size bed and cooking facilities, and the bathroom was equipped with washer and dryer. Starter milk, coffee, tea and sugar provided. Full size fridge. The pool was heated. There is another lap pool which is not. The studios share a lobby with the adjacent unit. Nice restaurant at the entry to the complex, and several more choices at the waterfront. Bus stop near the shops, just a few minutes away. The facility is on a lagoon, which is lovely for walks, and the waterfront area is easy walking with nice pathways. We would stay again in these blocks with elevators. Just a note on parking - there are about 6 parks outside each of the 4 storey blocks. The basement parking in one is quite tight to get into - fine for our smaller vehicle (Corolla Cross) but may not be possible with a Ford Range or similar.

An excellent place to stay. A really nice modern resort with 2 heated pools. Some nice restaurants very close and a short walk to a beautiful beach with a lifeguard patrolled area for swimming.

Great Studio apartment overlooking lagoon. Basic kitchenette with a good size refrigerator is provided. TV was fairly small and wifi was slow. Close to beach and restaurants, the location is convenient and quiet. Heated pool was popular with guests. Be aware some apartments are walk up to 2nd floor.

Easy check in with friendly staff. My room was very clean and neat. The pool/bbq area was tidy and welcoming. My bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows to use. Car parking was available. The property grounds were always tidy. A nice and quiet/relaxing place to stay at with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend this resort to anyone. This is my third stay at this establishment and I'm looking forward to staying here the next time I am visiting Trinity Beach.

Showers were moldy, did not drain properly, no where to set or place luggage, Minisplit was too loud to run while sleeping. Laundry fascilities were broken, flooded the floor, one was full of stagnent water. The pools were nice but poorly maintained. There was heaps of fresh kangaroo and wallaby poop all over the sidewalks everyday, no one was sweepi g it up.

The blue lagoon resort in Trinity beach was wonderful! I let them know prior i was coming later than check in so they put the keys in the box and had no problems, the room itself was very comfortable had aircon which was lovely to come back to after a walk as it gets quite humid everything was clean and they brought fresh tals and linen after the 3rd day and i had booked it for 7 days very close to to the beach only 5 minute walk and the recption people were very friendly would recommend staying here

Self check in was great and the whole complex was really quiet for a busy season however, the carpet was a little dirty in one spot and there were some dirty cleaning rags left on the bed when we arrived.

I didnt like that there was mould on the tiles and on the ceiling. The internet was terrible. I had better internet in vietnam we could not even up load a photo . The door handle need fixing. Was never informed of the maintenance man comming and then he just rocks up their was water damage on the carpet. For the price we paid i would of expected a lot more.

We found the one bedroom apartment very well equipped even to a washer and dryer. We were on the second level which meant a climb of two sets of stairs so if you have difficulty with stairs I’d ask for ground level. 3 pools in total but the infinity pool was heated which suited me. Easy walk to shops and restaurants and a good bus service to get you around if you want to go into Cairns or to Palm Cove.

Nice, is in a good location and clean. The only issue I had was I didn't get a good sleep in due to road noise. Also the wifi signal was weak/patchy and the fact you have to pay to use a pool towel. Otherwise the staff were very helpful and friendly.

No drawers on bedside tables or shelving elsewhere for packing away clothes and underwear etc. Only hanging space. A luggage rack would have been appreciated. No tissues in unit. Did like view from balcony and easy access to bus and beach. Receptionist was friendly and helpful.

We had a double bedroom apartment, the room was in excellent condition minus 2 small maintenance issues. We had a full kitchen, large balcony’s and large screen tv, the only negatives for the property in comparison to others we stayed in across FNQ, was the beds were less comfy then others, the hot water wasn’t as hot as could be and lower water pressure and the wifi provided was only usable through half the house. The service and all other aspects were very well done and we would return again, 4.5/5

Nothing like advertised/pics. Threadbare carpets with nails sticking out, rotted wood in bathroom, only 2 towels for the 6 night stay for 2 people. Not advised of no lifts, given 3rd floor in the older section of property having to haul luggage up stairs. Outdated and very uncomfortable bed and lounge furniture. The word’ luxury’ needs to be removed from description. The highlight was that the property is 2 mins walk from the esplanade, the room wasn’t enjoyable so spent as little time there as possible.

We had a 2 bed apartment, it had enough space for a family of 4 with 2 single beds for the kids. Large kitchen/Dinning/Family area. Large 2 way bathroom. Staff were exceptional, very helpful with tourist information. We also had a toaster die and it was replaced the same morning. Short walk to beach, dining options and small local shop. The only issue we had was with the phone ringing with no one at the other end, we unplugged it. They said they are getting a new phone system.

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Lagoon very much. The double apartment set up was roomy, clean, well secured and perfect for our family of 5. We were very thankful for the lift to the 4th floor! We would say that the furnishings were a little worn and there were a few holes in the walls to be fixed up, and we could have done with a few more blankets as the duvets/dooners were a bit thin. Overall we had a comfortable stay. The office staff were friendly and helpful, special thanks to Joleen who stayed a little longer in her work day to get us sorted for a snorkel trip the next day. Thanks!

My Brother and I liked everything,the staff were more then happy to spend time with us to organise trips and outings even so it took twice as long,because my Brother does not speak English.Stacey and Joelyn were so lovely and helpful in any way.Thank you very much!I like to come back soon,if I can.The appartement was very clean and also a big thank you to the Room attentants who informed the Reception as soon as possible about the Credit card wallet and the medicen bag which was left behind by us,so a friend was able to pick it up from the Reseption desk.Thank you Lili Strub and Heinz Lobsiger

The staff over the intercom (used for late check-in) was horrible. The first time I tried they told me my reservation wasn't ready, the second time they cut me off in the middle of the conversation, and the third time I was finally able to check in. It takes 30min. The Wi-Fi in the room was slow.

The Blue Lagoon was brilliant, great place got a break from the cold weather down south. Loved easy access to Trinity Beach, cafes, restaurants and beach frontage. Also easy to get buses around which were free most of the time and easy Uber trip to Cairns and the Airport. Went for a trek up the hill behind Trinity Beach and played tennis, swam, went to golf driving range etc. Brilliant little break!

The resort is conveniently located, a short walk to the beach and places to eat. The one bedroom apartment we had was a good size with a kitchen, large bathroom/laundry, and a private outdoor area which gives access to the pool. There was plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was well set up with a kitchenette, plenty of powerpoints and powerboards. There was a full complement of crockery and cooking utensils including a teapot, a milk jug and a coffee plunger which were very much appreciated. No desk, but there was a table. There was another table on the balcony. We were on the third floor with access to a lift which was essential as my husband has mobility issues. The room overlooked the lagoon and we there were both sunrise and sunset views. There is no restaurant at the property but it was so close to some great dining options- all of which we tried, and only a block and a half from Trinity Beach. The hotel room wasn't as funky as a recent Cairns city hotel we stayed at but it had a balcony and if you are coming to FNQ for a holiday I recommend staying in Northern Beaches rather than Cairns city. The resort is family friendly but also great for couples. A very clever idea we appreciated was the way of getting natural light into the bathroom. The shower wall joining the room was glass with a three-quarter frosted panel.

Apartment was perfect, pools were clean and very relaxing. Easy check in and check out. Close walk to beach and wonderful restaurants. It was better than my friend and i expected and we will be back and definitely can recommend this resort! I felt extremely safe, relaxed and happy staying here.

We loved our stay. We loved walking around the lake, the swimming, our balcony overlooking the pool. We enjoyed the air con and fan. We had brekky at the cafe. Our kitchen had everything we needed. We would recommend staying at Blue Lagoon.

Unfortunately the wifi is very slow, smoke alarm was hunging down from roof with no battery Both A/C remotes had flat batteries we asked staff for new batteries and they gladly gave us new remotes. Great choice of places to eat within walking distance

We didn't have a car, so parking would have been easy. Restaurants where close by. The beach and swimming in the ocean was amazing. The resort does have a heated pool which is nice. It also had a lap pool near by.
