My wife and i with our 2 boys 8 and 10 stayed for a week the staff were awesome the food and bar was fantastic we had breakfast most days lunch a couple of days and dinner twice and It was all great. the pool is amazing and the boys had a great time doing the activities in kids club .we had a great time and i would return

The wait-staff were helpful. Though the cleaning staff tried to come in to clean the rooms at 9:00am and when I said that was too early .. she had the audacity to say that her shift ends at 2:30 pm .. ?! Subsequently our rooms didn’t get a thorough clean after . Ill- equipped gym with no free weights for a 4 star property - very disappointing. Overall not very professional for a 4 star resort and has the feel of a much more budget one.

Lovely hotel, clean room, nice breakfast and convenient location. The pool is really nice however there isn’t enough sun beds to lay on for everyone, you have to fight for your life or camp in the morning to get a spot. One day they have half cleaned our room, the beds were done but didn’t replace any tea/coffee, took towels and didn’t replace with fresh ones, lucky bathroom had extras. The majority of people staying there were retirees and families with kids in 70/30 proportion. The front desk seems understaffed and if you ever need a new towel after swimming in the pool it’s a bit of a wait. Our room was right next to the lift, which was making a lot of noise as people were taking the rides in it day and night, a bit of WD-40 and our stay would have been a lot more pleasant.

Excellent resort with kids. The pool is magnificent , with the sandy beach. Swim up bar is a bonus. It’s great you can order food even at the swim up bar. The resort staff very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast buffet is excellent, so much to chose from . The lady who is greeting you is super lovely. Rooms are clean and perfect for a good night sleep beds are extra comfortable. Everything is wonderful in this hotel so close to the esplanade like 5 min walk. Only issue I had, the let the public to walk in and swim in the pool, by 10 am there was no available chairs and most people who reserved the sun beds had their own towels from outside I even asked one of them they told me they can just walk in while the paying customers don’t get a sunbed, while I paid over $200 for a night. Due to the public traffic on Saturday the pool was hectic. They need to respect the customers and close the public out who just wish to walk in for a swim. Otherwise I loved the resort would return again

Rooms at the Novotel appeared to be recently renovated and clean. Bathroom was very small but very clean. Rooms were nice and spacious and clean as well. But there were these tiny bugs that were crawling around, and our AC literally leaked on the floor. They came and sprayed for the bugs and put some towels under the AC. The staff were all nice and pleasurable. The exterior of the property looked terrible though. Very dirty and old and run down. It was an okay stay for the short time we were there but I wouldn't stay again.

We stayed in room 121. The outside balcony area was filthy. The tiles had green algae growing on them which made feet feel dirty sitting outside. The floor in our room looked clean but our feet felt and looked dirty after walking around for a short time. Felt like sand on the floor boards. The staff were hit and miss. Most doing their job without the enthusiasm you would expect from a nice hotel like this. We wanted to eat at the terrace bistro one night so we were told to select a table on balcony. All the tables that were not being used had dirty plates glasses etc piled up. it took two attempts to get a table cleared. The bar staff were just standing chatting amongst themselves but when I asked for a small table to be cleared it appeared to be a big request. On the second request one girl came out and was friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely and bar staff more happy and friendly. Most of the common areas of the property were nice and lush greenery that had a nice tropical feel.

プールも毎朝掃除されていてとても綺麗だった。綺麗な砂浜もあり、子供達が喜んでた。週末はちょっとしたイベントでスタッフさんがおもちゃで遊んでくれて楽しそうだった。電子レンジは1日10ドルで借りれるとのこと。今回は利用せず。部屋も綺麗だったが、5階なのにアリがいたのは嫌だった。持ち込む物に気をつけないと蟻の大群に見つかり大変だった。口コミを見てシャワーで床がびしょびしょになるとあったので、シャワーカーテン持参したが、これがかなり良かった！最小限に抑えられ快適にトイレも使用できた。口コミがとても役立った。けれど、目の前にコインランドリーもあるし、徒歩で楽しめる立地は最高でした！アリ以外は全く不便なく清潔なホテルでスタッフ対応もよくまた利用したいと思いました。

Room was ok. Requested a room with pool view BUT didn’t get to stay in one. We were in room looking at the back of pergola area over outdoor breakfast area. Door into room needed fixing as wouldn’t close properly. Curtains are filthy, drag on floor. place needs a good clean and new curtains throughout

Lovely resort feel. Definitely a little oasis so close to the Esplanade. Staff excellent. Feedback - Staff slow to clean up food and beverage foodstuff waste. It’s left on tables far too long preventing people wanting to take a seat or sun lounge because of the leftover waste. Also birds come and feed off the leftovers.

Our 5th floor king room with the pool view was great!! very comfortable and clean, couldn’t fault it… Parking was a breeze all Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, Breakfast was fabulous and the meals were delicious, having a balcony was great > The only downside No separation and was in arms reach, On occasion it felt a little bit awkward when next room guest were outside as well, But still highly recommend, stunning gardens, pool is amazing and the pool bar is it excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely location, pool great for families. If you’re stuck on the side next to Crystalbrook you’ll cop the loud noise that comes from their big industrial exhaust that’ll ensure your sleep is interrupted through the night. Lovely staff I have to say and can’t fault them at all there.

Great facilities, great food. Really good family resort. Rooms are a little small and marginally dated. Smallest inroom fridge I have ever seen. I would still return to this resort despite the rooms being on the less desired side.

The pool and breakfast buffet are amazing. Front reception and breakfast staff were incredible. Pool side bar was awesome. Our room however was incredibly small and the city view was so uninspiring. The double beds are seriously small and the bathroom was tiny.

Good property in the heart of cairns city. There were a couple of things that would have made our stay better. Although I requested a quiet room, we were placed right next to the elevators and they are noisy. Heard the annoying sound of the elevators throughout the night. The blinds are in adequate and did not block the outside light making sleep difficult. Other than this we enjoyed our three nights at the resort.

Hotel itself was fine. The rooms and facilities were overall very clean and nice, with an easy walk to the Esplanade and Cairns Central Shopping Center. The food was also very good. However, I don’t know if it was because we went during the off season or what, but there was NEVER anyone when you needed them. No concierge, and front desk always had a queue a mile long and people just gave up and walked away. Checking in took a ridiculous amount of time. Calls to the front desk always went unanswered and we ended up having to just manage things ourselves, from calling a taxi to fixing a malfunctioning toilet, because we couldn’t ever reach anyone. Also, I asked for a birthday surprise cake for my son, which they brought 3 days too early and with a complimentary bottle of wine, which was nice, but seeing as it was for an 8 year old (which I informed them of) he probably would’ve been happier with a coke or juice. Also, I’m not sure what housekeeping did other than make the beds and straighten the towels. Nothing was cleaned, and after the second day we just took care of it ourselves and kept the “Do not Disturb” sign on the rest of our stay. Also, a big point of contention for us was that there wasn’t a shop in the hotel where we could just go buy soft drinks, snacks, coffee etc. It either had to be through room service or you had to go down to the bar/coffee shop and hope that someone was manning the desk. I could write more but I’m out of space. Do not recommend.

We recently spent 6 days at this hotel with our families and friends. The pool was amazing, kids club activities were great too, buffet breakfast was good but not much changes during the period we stayed. The hotel is bit out dated but overall was well maintained. However the quality and level of customer service was very inconsistent. We had encountered some staff were super friendly and helpful, some were however very grumpy and impolite. Special thanks to the duty manager Becca, who was being so helpful and professional when we encountered some serious issues within our hotel room. However we had a terrible experience on our last with the bar and restaurant manager called Blaire. She had very poor attitudes and very unprofessional customer service.

While the property and facilities were of a high standard, we were extremely disappointed with the time it took to check in to the resort. We stood in a long line for 30mins waiting to be served due to limited staff. This left us somewhat frustrated with our accommodation before we had even been given a room key.

This hotel was super friendly. When our pre-paid taxi didn't turn up, we were late for check in and the receptionist gave us an upgrade to a quiet room at the end of on the 5th floor. This proved to give amazing views of the flying foxes every dusk that flew from the mountains to a roost within a few metres walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast reception every morning was wonderful. The pool bar was fun and it was super safe to let my daughter wander around. The help, support, service and cleanliness was excellent it is very well located to the night market, marina and lagoon.

The room wasn’t ready on time ( 2 pm ) . The manager didn’t care we are waiting and we have kids . I went back at 2 pm to ask when the room be ready , she responded not sure , we can’t do much . We call you when it’s ready . not even apologise for wasting our time . That’s the worst Novotel . The aircon not been serviced for very long time , very dusty. The pillow stained ( yellow )

The service at Novotel Cairns Oasis was exceptional, from the moment we walked in, to the time we left. This includes people at the front desk, wait staff, concierge, Melanie at the hotel's restaurant, and all the staff members that put on adult and children activities. I was not expecting all those extra activities that are offered at no extra cost to the guests and so well designed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to everyone with young families.

Checking in was made easy the receptionist was very pleasant and efficient. We ordered some cocktails and a snack at the Bar closest to the pool, the drinks were very nice but we felt the waitress was quite rude when without acknowledgement she slammed (and I mean slammed the food down) like we were an inconvenience. Thinking this was a one off, the following day while my husband swam I went to ask to see the wine list at the same bar and asked to purchase a bottle for my husband and I to enjoy beside the pool when he got out. The bartender said we do not have that wine here, you will have to purchase it from the other bar once it opens (why advertise it then?). Also the pool is cold even on hot days is that normal??? The housekeeping staff for our room were amazing.

This is a really great place to stay in Cairns. The Novotel Oasis is really central and it's easy to walk to loads of great dining and shopping in the town, as well as the Esplanade area. The hotel is really nice, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great, with loads of options.

It is wonderfully located, the perfect distance from the noise, but only two short blocks from the coast. Cafes, restaurants and the night markets are really close And the buffet breakfast, whilst predictably chaotic at times as there's lots of families) was wholesome and varied enough to be a great bonus.

Overall stay was good, met average standards but nothing stood out. Buffet breakfast could have been better, more fruit selection and higher quality of cooking. Plates were not cleared often and made hard to find a seat and or birds were eating. Swim up bar service was good but closed very early and missed the vibe. However bar staff were really nice and accommodating.

We thought this was a great hotel, with a lovely pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Good generally was of a very good standard and good value. Hotel was also in a good location and we would stay here again. We had a lovely five night stay with our young children in a double deluxe room. The only thing that could be added is something else for the kids during the week like a little play area.

The breakfast and the pool were both outstanding. Staff greeting the breakfasts guests were friendly (Melanie in particular) and added a good start to the day. The cleaning staff worked hard especially while guests were out. Lovely to come back to after a day in the heat. There were two minor issues which when reported, the handyman promptly fixed both issues the same day. The meals provided during the day and at night were not up to the same standard as the breakfast. We ended up going to external restaurants to eat. Outside the hotel there is accumulated garden rubbish/branches that should be removed as it lowers the look of the hotel, compared to the standard inside the Hotel.

Stayed over Christmas, awesome pool and location. Wouldn’t bother getting the breakfast or meals there again - very ordinary, over priced and few options. Pool and swim up bar the draw card for this place.

Clean room, comfy beds, great amenities. Overall great hotel for our family kids loved it. Buffet breakfast is extensive, however there’s isn’t any whole food or sourdough options. And the GF selection is dismal and disappointing. So we all had tummy aches from the food. Stick to the fruit.
