Pros: Property is centrally located directly along the esplanade and close to boardwalk, restaurants and shopping. It has its own dining options and bars. It’s across from the central lagoon and there is a grocery store one block away and it is 15 minutes to the airport. The beds are comfortable and it has large windows with nice views. They use Origins bath products and the showers are nice - rooms clean and comfortable. All of the staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Cons: The room lighting is ambient keeping the room dark after the sun goes down. Hard to organize and pack in a dimly lit room. Also, the bathroom lighting is terrible for doing makeup. The bathroom could have used a little more usable counter space for toiletries. I found the pool area unusual - 2 pools on different floors. One pool is clear glass so folks eating or at the bar can see you swim. Awkward. We went to the central lagoon.

Pros: stylish rooms. Super convenient location. Good facilities. Friendly staff Cons: checkin a bit chaotic and key information not given. Hotel tricky to navigate (especially if not explained at check-in) and has to wander around to find key facilities. Pool cold and limited access to sun. Pool deck area open to public access and glass bottom/sides of pool means you are ‘on display’ to those in the bar/restaurants below. Wonderful hotel it’s our go to hotel when in cairns. Right on the esplanade so no need for a car, 2 great pools and many pools on the esplanade to use. Restaurants are in walking distance and there are plenty to choose from.

Lovely! right on the Esplanade and walk everywhere. Aah, the glass sided swimming pools provide full visibility from public areas, great if you're a bikini bod looking to flaunt, less so for those of us who are more mature :)

The property is expensive for what it offers: the pools are undercover so the water is too cold- no one was in the water. The rooms are clean and tidy- however if you are facing the town you don’t stay in the room. The pictures indicate the rooms have a bath - they don’t. There is no ramp when you enter/ so you have to carry your luggage up the steps- that’s hard.

This was an incredible place! We felt like absolute royalty staying here. The only reason I haven’t given five stars is because our room had an odd smell. It smelt like there was a water leak somewhere (that mouldy damp smell). We only stayed one night and alerted staff when we left. I’d think that would be an isolated incident and you’d live your stay here.

I wish I could review the hotel (5) and the room (2) separately. The lively, resort-like hotel has lovely staff, a great breakfast, live music, and is surrounded by bars and little restaurants. It’s a minute walk to the public lagoon pool and about 8 minutes to the boat if you’re going snorkeling with Reef Magic. Room 907 in the esplanade tower looks nice, has a comfy bed and a big balcony. Unfortunately it smells horrible. Damp, musty, sweaty…nasty. Perhaps it’s seasonal? I’m here at the end of November. The balcony (nice view if you don’t look down) overlooks the roof of the night market, which has VERY loud AC units. The hotel is lovely. Room E907 is not.

Reception was perfect, & we were kindly treated with a birthday cocktail on arrival from Ricardo, thank you. room was lovely, pillow menu spot on, would loved to have seen tea cups in the room…sadly our room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days but was cleaned after we followed up with reception & they were very apologetic…we will be back. the location was perfect & walking distance to many attractions, right on the esplanade & public entertainment spaces…boardwalk social was a great space to unwind ..thank you all at Crystalbrook Flynn for a wonderful mini break stay 😊

We were only staying one night. The room was quite nice but it had a musty smell about it. I think it was the air conditioning. The amenities were basic although it’s supposedly a high-end hotel … for example no bottled water without pain 20 bucks. Checking in check out as quick and efficient as we had prepaid for everything. Our view from our ocean view,room was probably the nicest part, although the view is obstructed partially by the building next door, which was part of the complex. Would be nice if the rooms had a bath, but they don’t, however, the shower was nice and hot.

The room was wonderful with both bedrooms separated by a comfortable lounge room. The views are spectacular and the location could not be beat! Really felt like we could finally relax. The only issue we had was a light in the wardrobe that kept coming in and off during the night flickering continuously through the room.

We stayed in Crystalbrook Flynn for 3 nights in 2 rooms - a urban room at the back of the motel & two of us in a sea suite. It was clean, comfortable & had some good amenities in the room. Handy to be walking distance from wonderful restaurants & the tourist departure points for the activities we did. A few bug-bears for me was 1) no full length mirror in the two rooms we booked so it was difficult to get an idea of how clothing choices looked before going out & 2) bathroom lighting to do my make up was dismal - absolutely terrible & 3) if you book a 'Sea Suite' room (which has gorgeous views) beware of the continual noise at night that drifts up to your room from all the clubs/bars/restaurants that are directly below - loud music with deep beats/pedestrians & just noise. Even with pods in my ears I could still hear it. Overall a lovely place to stay. I also stayed in Crystalbrook Bailey for 3 nights earlier in the week (for work) & it was a short walk to everything also, but with more peace & quiet at night (still no full length mirrors/terrible lighting).

The hotel was great. It was a little tough getting our a/c working for us as it said the room was “unoccupied” on the control so would not cool. We had to ask the desk to adjust it twice. Had to do a 2nd request for bed sheet change (due to sweaty nights) after we asked in the morning when we left and came back to not done. It the hotel was upgraded and very nice and would stay there and recommend it to others

This is a very nice hotel with easy access to downtown. The room and the view were great. Sunsets were brillant. I do have a major complaint. One evening I called to try to order room service from 6:00-7:30 pm. The line was always busy so no dinner that night. I was not able to leave the hotel for food. The next day I told the desk manager of my problem. He was not particularly concerned. I was so I ordered dinner for that night while I was standing at the desk in the morning. No problem, I was told except that “I would have to take my place in the queue”. At 10:00 am placing an order for 5:30 pm. I was the queue. The nonchalance of the staff didn’t match the quality of the hotel.

Room Tablet for requesting services like towels or declining house keeping does not work. Staff ignore the multiple submitted requests. Had to walk to front desk to get towels. House keeping still entered room even though we put in a request to cancel house keeping during our stay through the tablet. Shower is also poorly designed. Water seeps under glass panels and soaks the bathroom floor. They need to add caulking underneath the fixed shower door panel.

The design of the building and interior and views are beautiful but they were so short staffed no one ever picked up the phone when calling front desk or housekeeping. And seemed to be only 2 front desk staff helping the entire hotel doing everything. When you needed something you had to do it yourself or walk down and stand in line to receive service. They need to hire more staff to fulfill their star rating in my opinion. I saw an older woman struggling with her luggage down stairs on check out and absolutely no one there to lend a hand in the front of the hotel where many bellmen carts were.

部屋の清掃を忘れられてフロントにお願いしたが、結局待っても来なかった。雨の日に傘を借りたくてフロントに行ったが、貸出傘はないと言われた。他のホテルはもちろん貸してくれたらしい。ナイトマーケット付近なので、街中の音楽が部屋まで響き寝付けなかった。

ケアンズの中心地にほど近く、ホテルの周辺には多数の飲食店があり、ナイトマーケットも非常に近かったです。フェーリーターミナルや、キュランダセントラル駅にも徒歩10分程度で行くことができ、立地はとてもよかったです。ジムはかなり小さいです。またホテル入口からフロントまでの間に階段があり、スーツケースも階段で上げなくてはならないのはマイナスポイントでした。部屋は小綺麗で可愛らしく、好感が持てました。必要十分な広さだと思います。

ケアンズの中心地のとても便利な立地で周辺にはナイトマーケット、レストラン、レンタカー、などなんでも揃っていました。ホテルの目の前には海と観覧車もあり海側の部屋は景色も良いと思います。ホテル内の設備もひととおり揃っていて、綺麗に管理されていて不満はありませんでした。スタッフも質問や足りないものを部屋に持ってきてもらったりした時もにこやかに気持ちの良い対応をされて好感がもてました。少し残念なところはムーディな演出とも言えるのですが、部屋の照明が暗すぎて日が暮れてからはカバンの中身が見えにくかった点、スリッパを使えば問題ありませんでしたが、トイレとシャワーがカーテンで仕切られているだけだったのでシャワーの後トイレの方まで濡れてしまうことがあったという点、部屋の清掃が不十分なことがあった点くらいでしょうか。全般として滞在期間中、快適に過ごせたのでまた来る機会があれば利用させてもらいたいと思います。

Beautiful property in a great location, staff is friendly on site and the restaurant is amazing. Highly recommended it, it’s close to the night markets and shopping as well. Most of the tours pick up point is close by if not pick up from the hotel.

The taste could be better too. 😒 They left a bottle of wine out of the fridge, and we thought it was complimentary but then they told us we had to pay for it if we wanted it

The rooms were nice, stay in the Abott tower if you want it a bit quieter. The breakfast buffet was very expensive $38/pp we thought it was included in the price and were disappointed to realize that it wasn’t at check out. Be sure to confirm

Good breakfast, friendly staff. The hotel was very nice but there were a few maintenance issues in the room. The toilet holder was not fixed horizontally and the toilet roll kept on falling off. Then the protection of the light switch by the bed had fallen off, and the blue light was really disturbing in the night. I also got a letter of apology that the TV was not working. For the price of the hotel, I felt there were just too many issues with the room. I could extend my check out by 1 hour because my flight was later in the afternoon.

Fantastic location along the warf/water front. Super Friendly staff. Neat and tidy hotel. Super Nice rooms, although a bit small. Wonderful views. Overall fantastic hotel. Only negative is food and beverage service stops early at the hotel restaurant but there are tons of other locations close by that offer food. Would definitely stay here again.
