The breakfast was very good and a good choice on the menu. Location of the dining room overlooking the marina was lovely. Unfortunately the rooms let this hotel down. No air conditioning, rooms unbearably hot and stuffy. Corridors upstairs could do with decorating, looked tatty and smelt a bit strange as well. The hotel appears to be very popular for drinks and food which we would go back for but wouldn't stay there again until something was done about the rooms. A gentleman on reception said they couldn't do much with the place because it was a listed building but portable air-conditioning units would be all it needs.

The room was spotless and lovely ( thank you, Hayley), but the corridors leading to it? They were airless, outdated and felt grubby. This is such a shame, as everything else was lovely. The Green emergency light in the room is very bright, but could this be sheltered, without affecting its use?

Great location and a very nice room. The room was extremely hot with a fan that was next to useless. The breakfast was ok not much left out in the dining room compared to other hotels to choose from Overall not bad at all

This is a fabulous place to stay. Breakfast was amazing. Staff helpful and friendly. Our only concern was the bedroom was above the local shop. So from 5 am until midnight we had lots of noise from horns beeping from van drivers urging the shop to open, to youths congregating outside at night. Other quite rooms are available on the opposite side of the hotel.
