The first room I was given did not match the photos at all. It had dust and dirt throughout, and the TV was broken with a cracked screen. After requesting a move to the correct room, I had to use an alternative floor because the lift button for the 3rd floor was not working, which was inconvenient but secondary to the main issue. The second room was also unacceptable. It had large stains on multiple walls, heavy limescale on the bathroom taps, and the shower was extremely difficult to adjust without using both hands. I also found random long dark hairs on top of and in the bed, which raised serious cleanliness concerns. Given the condition of both rooms, I do not believe the accommodation met basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, or accuracy compared with what was advertised

The hotel is in a great location and the beds are so comfortable….however….shower gel dispenser was empty, the extractor fan not working, stale biscuits in the room and no decaf coffee or tea in the room yet was in the breakfast area. The continental breakfast was far from that. Stale bread, dry croissants and some ropey looking muffins. No fruit, no meats and no muesli or Greek yogurt which is what to expect for continental breakfast. As such I would not see this as bed and breakfast as you’ll end up eating elsewhere anyway. When the issue with the shower gel was raised, no resolution was given.
