Meh. It was ok I suppose. Was blocked in the narrow car park. The narrow metal spiral steps to get in the building were not good if you have a bag. Inside was clean but minimal. No lift. Narrow steps on the stair cse to the second floor. Bed was hard. Even after we turned on the switch for the hot water and waited, there was no hot water for the shower. No a/c just a fan.

Really large triple/family room, could have got another bed or two in and still had space to wonder about. Comfy bed, good bathroom, breakfast didn't start til 7.30 so had to miss that as I had an early start, however, they also have a restaurant next door, had a very tasty curry. Will be back, not very much onsite parking but plenty of free street parking out front that is free 7pm til 8 am. Will be back if i'm in the area, hopefully not such an early start so I can try the breakfast, hope it's as good as the curry.

With a few improvements, this hotel could be a reasonable place to stay, but several issues need attention. The carpet throughout the building requires a thorough clean, and the hallway walls could benefit from a quick repaint as they were very dirty. Reception and the corridors were unheated, making the atmosphere feel unwelcoming and extremely cold. When we arrived in December, our room window had been left open so the room was freezing. It would’ve felt so much better walking into a warm room. There was nowhere to hang coats, no hooks and not even hangers on the clothes rail. The electric heater had a loose metal panel, which felt unsafe. The TV was very small and unwatchable due to the poor signal. The rear access spiral staircase would difficult to navigate and unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility. The area outside the reception door looked untidy, with items like an old paint can and a piece of AstroTurf left lying around. Breakfast was essentially non existent, and no information was provided about it. Would we stay again, definitely not unless the above was attended to.

The room was smaller than shown on the pictures when booking. There was dampness on the wall in the room. Stairs were steep further you went up, this place was not disable friendly at all. Furthermore when we arrived at the reception booking for breakfast they asked what time we wanted between 7 and 10. We said 7am would be perfect. In the morning however it turns out they booked it on the time we said we would be event which was 10am, there no one there to serve breakfast at the time we request. I requested for refund, since we had to go else for breakfast to be ready in time for the event. I had to argue and repeat myself until they told us we have to wait until manager comes in. They said they would call me back at 5pm yet they didn't call until 8pm even then they argue saying we must said 10am because the staff put in the system as 10am saying that he check CCTV to check and then refund if I was right.

There was no hot water in the evening or in the morning for a shower, couldn’t find a member of staff to talk to, I was told there would be a full English breakfast available in the morning from 7am, myself and another guess was waiting around from 7.15 and again no member of staff to assist, all round very disappointing

There was no towels in the bathroom. Staff knocked on the door before checkout time. On leaving, I pulled back the sheets, and there was blood and urine stains on the matress. Disgusting!!

Got the impression that the hotel had just been renovated however there were still elements of the previous state....damp on the walls, dirty and insects crawling around in the bathroom.

Very reasonably priced. Very central - near the train station. Staff couldnt do enough for us. The adjoining restaurant was lovely. Very posh and food good- especially as we were in a hurry. Shower/ loo very clean and swish. Single room warm and you could open the windo. THANK GOD! I hate the major chains who rely on aircon only as it never works all might long and it's noisy and you feel so stuffy in the morning. Brakfast was fine. I had no complaints and the staff did their upmost to accommodate my....awkward friends. Veil drawn on them, I'm afraid!

The rooms are very spacious and reception and dining area is very nice. We were however made to wait outside for a while before we could get in. In fact another resident eventually opened the door. And there was no apology nor explanation when staff came. The carpets are dirty and the room smelled musty . We slept with the window own to minimise the smell. The breakfast service was good though

Was supposed to be a soundproof room but you could hear everything outside of the room including the constant noise of traffic and people talking in the street and outside the room and the shower had only one temperature which was extremely hot and the temperature would not adjust. Other than that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable

Everything was perfectly ok for a reasonable and good value overnight stay - the room was clean and had everything needed but the mattress was very uncomfortable indeed, needs replacing. Sadly I had a poor night's sleep due to mattress being long past its use by date. A shame because everything else was ok.

Staff were great from start to finish. They accepted a very last minute booking, and were nothing but friendly. I had an issue with the tv aerial in my room and it was no trouble at all to come and pop a new one in. My room was comfortable, and actually really quite big. The shower was great. Nothing to complain about! If I ever need to come back to Chatham, I’d look to book here first. Would recommend!

Me, my partner and my 6 month old daughter stayed in the hotel, the shower was blocked and we had to ask multiple times to get it sorted so that we could shower. The shower temperature wouldn't regulate so we ended up having to keep adjusting throughout the shower, when we asked if something could be done we were ignored and they just left the room. The room was very hot and the fan was broken so we couldn't keep cool.

I didn’t stay. We arrived at 3pm and the place was empty. We rang the bell and called the hotel - knocked on doors and despite waiting for an hour, the hotel remained empty with no staff around. We had to ring round other hotels to find alternative accommodation and thankfully managed to find somewhere. At approx 10.40pm, the hotel rang me and asked if I was arriving - I explained our experience and said we would not be staying or paying for our accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel
I didn’t stay. We arrived at 3pm and the place was empty. We rang the bell and called the hotel - knocked on doors and despite waiting for an hour, the hotel remained empty with no staff around. We had to ring round other hotels to find alternative accommodation and thankfully managed to find somewhere. At approx 10.40pm, the hotel rang me and asked if I was arriving - I explained our experience and said we would not be staying or paying for our accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel

The room was smaller than shown on the pictures when booking. There was dampness on the wall in the room. Stairs were steep further you went up, this place was not disable friendly at all. Furthermore when we arrived at the reception booking for breakfast they asked what time we wanted between 7 and 10. We said 7am would be perfect. In the morning however it turns out they booked it on the time we said we would be event which was 10am, there no one there to serve breakfast at the time we request. I requested for refund, since we had to go else for breakfast to be ready in time for the event. I had to argue and repeat myself until they told us we have to wait until manager comes in. They said they would call me back at 5pm yet they didn't call until 8pm even then they argue saying we must said 10am because the staff put in the system as 10am saying that he check CCTV to check and then refund if I was right.

Very reasonably priced. Very central - near the train station. Staff couldnt do enough for us. The adjoining restaurant was lovely. Very posh and food good- especially as we were in a hurry. Shower/ loo very clean and swish. Single room warm and you could open the windo. THANK GOD! I hate the major chains who rely on aircon only as it never works all might long and it's noisy and you feel so stuffy in the morning. Brakfast was fine. I had no complaints and the staff did their upmost to accommodate my....awkward friends. Veil drawn on them, I'm afraid!

The rooms are very spacious and reception and dining area is very nice. We were however made to wait outside for a while before we could get in. In fact another resident eventually opened the door. And there was no apology nor explanation when staff came. The carpets are dirty and the room smelled musty . We slept with the window own to minimise the smell. The breakfast service was good though

Disappointed that this hotel is listed by hotels.com Having stayed at many, we were surpised to find this as poor as it was. No english-speaking night staff made communication difficult. We had two rooms, both of which smelled of the indian restaurant below. This isn't mentioned.

Staff were great from start to finish. They accepted a very last minute booking, and were nothing but friendly. I had an issue with the tv aerial in my room and it was no trouble at all to come and pop a new one in. My room was comfortable, and actually really quite big. The shower was great. Nothing to complain about! If I ever need to come back to Chatham, I’d look to book here first. Would recommend!

Was supposed to be a soundproof room but you could hear everything outside of the room including the constant noise of traffic and people talking in the street and outside the room and the shower had only one temperature which was extremely hot and the temperature would not adjust. Other than that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable

On arrival I booked a full English Breakfast so I did not have to worry about food for the day but I did not get this and was promised a refund but still not received. First day two eggs sausage hash browns toast brought to me cold. 2nd day toast eggs sausage milk out of date had to ask for orange juice fridge locked. 3rd day eggs sausage beans no toast had no bread Last day warm bread not toasted still white I paid 8 pounds a day for this I said if they sorted this out I would use them again but it hasn’t been I don’t think they have a hygiene certificate to cook breakfast vey disappointed.also bedding towels not changed had to ask on my forth day.

Really large triple/family room, could have got another bed or two in and still had space to wonder about. Comfy bed, good bathroom, breakfast didn't start til 7.30 so had to miss that as I had an early start, however, they also have a restaurant next door, had a very tasty curry. Will be back, not very much onsite parking but plenty of free street parking out front that is free 7pm til 8 am. Will be back if i'm in the area, hopefully not such an early start so I can try the breakfast, hope it's as good as the curry.

With a few improvements, this hotel could be a reasonable place to stay, but several issues need attention. The carpet throughout the building requires a thorough clean, and the hallway walls could benefit from a quick repaint as they were very dirty. It would’ve felt so much better walking into a warm room. There was nowhere to hang coats, no hooks and not even hangers on the clothes rail. The electric heater had a loose metal panel, which felt unsafe. The TV was very small and unwatchable due to the poor signal. The rear access spiral staircase would difficult to navigate and unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility. The area outside the reception door looked untidy, with items like an old paint can and a piece of AstroTurf left lying around. Breakfast was essentially non existent, and no information was provided about it. Would we stay again, definitely not unless the above was attended to.

Friendly staff ..compact but comfortable room. Apparent lots of work.been done ... some details still to go, my blind not working properly. Internet access didnt work. Breakfast like a farce..clearly not had 6 cooked breakfast orders before. Not enough cups; tea, and coffee and water not readily available. Milk for cereal seemed to be a problem. Despite this the staff were friendly they just hadnt planned how to serve.

There was no hot water in the evening or in the morning for a shower, couldn’t find a member of staff to talk to, I was told there would be a full English breakfast available in the morning from 7am, myself and another guess was waiting around from 7.15 and again no member of staff to assist, all round very disappointing

We parked on their rear carpark and as a regular business traveller, I diligently and carefully completed their paper parking form with our vehicle details - Only three weeks later to find a PNC for £100.... (it being dated as 30th June arriving on the 11th June?) I rang and spoke to three different people " The Managers not here, Someone will call you back, I can't deal with this!" the usual excuses when no one intends to do anything! Please note that the stairs from the car park to the back of the hotel are not for the faint hearted in rain! Metal circular stairs with a tight wind is not something that is fun with baggage. Similarly the stairs to my room were also quite tight with baggage. This is important for many to note. I was on the 2nd floor. But the bigger issue for me was the shower. I did not raise this with reception as it was nearly midnight at the time. The shower temperature fluctuated between scalding (highly dangerous) to very cold regardless of what I did. I managed to negotiate the time as it moved from one to the other in order to shower but as it was very weak it was not a great experience. On a positive note, the room was clean, tidy and with plenty of sockets.
