Quiet even by the airport. Easy to get in to Rochester and surrounding places. Easy available parking. Loved the pool, steam room and sauna….really missed the hot tub/jacuzzi as it was not working. Great variety and quality at breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Very well kept Hotel. Reception staff were very welcoming and polite. Room was good size, nice bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast Bar offered a wide range of hot and cold foods. English full breakfast was really good. Very nice pool, steam room, sauna and a small gym.

Very nice young lady checked us in. Very friendly and helpful. There is a gym, pool and spa treatments on site. Restaurants and bar available too. Food was good although limited choice if you were staying more than one night. Room we thought was a bit small by comparison to other chain hotels we've stayed in. That said it was clean and the bed was a comfy std double. The shower wasn't great! Water hot but no matter where you put the controller we couldn't get anywhere near adequate water pressure. Breakfast is a buffet style set up. There is a wide variety of breakfast fare on offer. Full English to a continental. We enjoyed ours very much - maybe a bit too much😀.

All areas clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful, however staffing levels could be reviewed. There were times when bar and catering areas could do with additional help during busy periods. Especially as this festive period progresses. Hotel was very busy at times and wait times were not great.

The room was warm, comforatble and completely clean. The cleaners were excellent. Loved the complimentary drinks in the fridge and biscuits/crips. James was exceptionally helpful when I asked about the fridge and dinner. Parking was plentiful and easy. I didn't eat there but there is a supermarket open till 10PM and a KFC a couple of minutes walk away. I would certainly stay here again. Thanks.

It wasn't clean. We changed the room, but the 2nd room wasn't really clean either. In the hotel, all the doors were dirty, the floor was sticky, even in the breakfast area. At breakfast there was cake from the day before. I always ate the same cake for breakfast for 10 days in England, also in another Holiday Inn and the cake was partly from the day before. Unfortunately, the dishes were not clean either. You always had to look at breakfast to see what kind of cup or plate you were taking. The staff is the only positive thing about this hotel. They are very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, we will never book Holiday Inn again. We booked 3 hotels of this hotel chain on our trip and all of them were not good. The hotel in Rochester was unfortunately particularly dirty. Even if it's old, it can be clean. Especially because Holiday Inn is everywhere with Cleanliness advertises and in the end it was not clean at all.

On arrival the reception was busy but no issues with booking in. When I entered my room the smell of must was very apparent So on looking the window frames were mouldy. The carpet was very dirty and dusty. As the sofa was under window I cheeked for mould to find thick dust and dirty cotton bud. Returned to reception where I was shown another room which was not much better. After a chat with hotels.com. I was able to track down hotel manager. Who was absolutely undoubtedly very helpful and cleaned out room.

The room and bathroom were not clean and had an unpleasant smell. The bed was sagging in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep. We had to sleep on the other side with our feet hanging out. This was our third stay here, and the bed has been uncomfortable all three times. Although we mentioned this issue to the receptionist during checkout, her only response was, “Oh, is that so?” and nothing was done about it. While we were happy with the staff and other aspects of our stay, the bed situation was disappointing.

I was given a ground floor room at first which overlooked a dual carriageway and was extremely noisy with traffic but after speaking to reception was given a much quieter room at the rear of the property.

Very friendly welcome and a quick and easy check in. Comfortable modern bar area. Breakfast had a great choice available and was very good. All staff very friendly. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Only fault was the shower hardly had any pressure and you barely got wet! But would highly recommend all in all.

Great overnighter. Hotel easy to find but by a very busy road which you can hear in the room if you’re on that side. Check-in was quick and easy as was check out. Room was fairly clean but some grubby bits including the table lamp and the lower part of the bathroom door. The bed was comfortable and clean. When I woke up, I went to make a cup of tea and found that the kettle was missing, just the base was there, however, I rang the front desk and explained and within 5 minutes a member of staff had brought a kettle for me which was great. All in all, I would recommend this Holiday inn and will be using again when in the area.

The first room we were given was much too small as I suffer with chlostrophobia. We went back to the reception and we’re offered a lot larger room which was so lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good.

Service in the restaurant in the evening was TERRIBLE. We had to wait for 10 minutes before the waitress came out from the kitchen where she been chitchatting with the bar girl. I and the other people waiting asked if we could have a table, then she disappeared again. When we finally got the table we asked if could get a tea cause our daughter was frozen. She said that the coffee machine was broken. We said that we don’t want coffee only tea, she said that they got the tea water from that machine. We asked if she could boil som water for us in the kitchen, she said she couldn’t. We then asked if she could ask the chef to boil some water for the tea, but she couldn’t do that. Table next to us had same experience, they ordered a bottle of wine. They had to open it themselves as well as poor it. After dinnner I wanted to buy some water and snacks from the bar shop. 3 persons working behind the bar, no one notice me our other clients, they where chitchatting. I feel sorry for the owners of this hotel that they have to pay salaries to such work force. But in the breakfast the service staff was great.

There comes a time when complacency should never be a factor at a hotel but it appears if you stay too much in one place, that’s exactly what happens. The service becomes poorer, the rooms you’re given become worse and the conditions of the hotel worsen. Top that with a member of staff actually arguing at your table and the manager refusing to address that issue, means it’s time to check out and cancel your future bookings.

Room was comfortable but very basic. Took long time to check in. We ate dinner in the hotel - 2 courses for 3 people took over 3 hours! Not great food and took AGES and no one around to ask so had to go looking for staff - wouldn't advise eating dinner here but breakfast was ok!

From the moment of arrival to our departure the following day, this hotel was everything that we hoped that it would be. The staff at the reception desk, the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful and we would have no hesitation in staying there again and recommending it to friends.

We booked the rooms as we were travelling down from Yorkshire to a family funeral.I called the venue to see if there was any chance of a earlier check in as the funeral started at 1pm. Was told they would do what they could with no promises. We arrived at 11.45 and the receptionist tried everything to sort. Our rooms were made available to us which was very appreciated 5* for customer service. Thanks

Comfortable stay. Nice big room, with everything we needed. The only problem was room service. Order a dinner past 10:30 and it never arrived. Had to ask for a refund. The man on the desk explained the team don’t always look at the orders as the chef goes home at 10. So really shouldn’t be advertising as 24hour room service.

I was given a ground floor room at first which overlooked a dual carriageway and was extremely noisy with traffic but after speaking to reception was given a much quieter room at the rear of the property.

I booked the hotel as I needed a good sleep. Check-in was great. Hotel is lovely. Staff are great. Sleep I didn't get any good sleep. The room was at the front next to the main road. Traffic was constant and very annoying. Would I stay again? Definitely not.

Great overnighter. Hotel easy to find but by a very busy road which you can hear in the room if you’re on that side. Check-in was quick and easy as was check out. Room was fairly clean but some grubby bits including the table lamp and the lower part of the bathroom door. The bed was comfortable and clean. When I woke up, I went to make a cup of tea and found that the kettle was missing, just the base was there, however, I rang the front desk and explained and within 5 minutes a member of staff had brought a kettle for me which was great. All in all, I would recommend this Holiday inn and will be using again when in the area.

Room was comfortable but very basic. Took long time to check in. We ate dinner in the hotel - 2 courses for 3 people took over 3 hours! Not great food and took AGES and no one around to ask so had to go looking for staff - wouldn't advise eating dinner here but breakfast was ok!

Was amazing. Clean rooms, cozy size - perfect for me and my partner! Perfectly located for the airshow we came down to see as well and very close to other amenities like aldi and b&m! The staff were super helpful and friendly and the pool was a bonus.

A excellent hotel, situated just next to Rochester Airport. Just outside Rochester town centre. It's along the main carriageway that heads towards Rochester. Also there's a Asda Supermarket 7 mins away. It has a Gym,Conference centre, Swimming pool as well. There is bar food available and evening dinner also, Very family orientated as well.I had breakfast there as well, It was very good. Free parking, Well decorated, bright and airy. The staff are so nice and friendly, very helpful. My room on the lower ground was lovely, With two single beds, Tea/Coffee facilities, en suite, Very good wifi connection, Very clean and very quiet.
