I was in room 42 for one night on my way to a job in the morning, so it was a cheaper option being a single room. But wow was it noisy. Anyone going upstairs carrying cases or bags or talking etc could be heard. It was like being a hobbit living under a house of ill reputation. The funny part was breakfast as it was absolutely gorgeous, but finding the place was like going to the toilets of a well known pub chain. I think they were actually in a different town. .

We had a good stay for 1 night. Due to the hot weather the room was rather stuffy. The fan provided did help. The dinner was excellent as was the breakfast with plenty of choice. Good value for the price paid.

Rooms size was fine, bit creaky all round, when guests went upstairs it was very noisy, you could also hear everything through the walls. Bathroom needed a good cleaning, lots of dust around the pipes and radiators, breakfast was great, food in bar not so good, this put us off trying out the restaurant.
