We had dinner in The Queen's Road restaurant . The food was excellent and our wait staff, Basanta and Darren were wonderful and very accommodating. My only complaint would be that I feel parking should be free for paying quests.

Quite spacious and kept clean. Breakfast was superb and staff were courteous. Several eateries just across the road. Car park was rather dilapidated although I did not have any incident.

Trying out a new hotel for Coventry Motorist for the team. Overall very happy, great rooms but only two members of bar staff knew how to pull a decent pint at the bar! The heads on some of the beer mean't you weren't getting a full pint, so to their frustration had to be told how to do it & remove the heads! Others tried to actively encourage a head on some pints, but thankfully as the beer had settled they couldn't. Apart from that all good. The entrance to the multi storey car park at the side was a bit grim & the car park itself a bit dark in places at night.

Stayed two nights as a couple during Sept, rooms are spacious and clean. Good service, helpful staff. Breakfast was typical continental average taste however good service. Restaurants and shops near by. Car park is convenient. Surrounding streets are not so pleasant if you are thinking of walking around.

Nice clean hotel throughout. Great service from front desk, breakfast, maintenance and housekeeping. Our room had a towel rail that was loose and a missing soap dispenser and both were resolved promptly. Pizza from restaurant was very tasty and made fresh. Plentiful of hot breakfast/continental options. I asked for an omelette which was made perfectly. The staff at the hotel were fantastic over our 3 night stay. Parking right next door in multi storey car park, charge not too high at £6.50 per day. Would highly recommend Ramada Coventry and will be staying here again next time of visiting

Upon arrival into the room, we found we did not have enough tea bags milk or sugar for two. Was horrified to find stains inside the toilet bowl where it had not been cleaned properly. After an hour we left the hotel and reported the toilet and made a specific request for some extra sugar, milk and tea. Upon our return we found the toilet had been cleaned and the bottle of toilet cleaner was left on the side in the bathroom open, which my room mate thought was hand wash and without looking at the label poured some in her hand before she realised her mistake and quickly washed it off. The shower gel in the room was not working. We were left a paper bag with 15 coffee lots of milk about 6 sugars and 6 teabags its clear our request for tea, milk and sugar was not adhered to it was a specific reasonable request. For a 4 star hotel this was not good enough. Otherwise we found the staff were really polite and helpful especially Patricia who served us at breakfast

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Staff and breakfast good, rooms were uncomfortable and smelly. Can't open windows so no fresh air, corridors are the same. Overpriced for quality of hotel

The room was nice, clean and spacious the bed was a little hard but that’s down to preference so the sleep was a little uncomfortable. However, our surroundings was quite with no noise which was nice. They was a lot of amenities around with easy access which was great. So overall stay was nice would definitely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at the Ramada several times now, each time I’ve received excellent service. The rooms are spacious for a solo traveler. Cleanliness over all, in my experience is very good. Staff overall very friendly, particularly one of the breakfast waitresses, always pleased to help and with a smile on her face, unfortunately I can’t recall her name but I’ll be sure to get it next time as I fell her friendliness is an excellent example of experience and professionalism.

WiFi didn’t work properly since I arrived. The front desk told upon arrival it wasn’t working but they were working on it. Unfortunately it didn’t work consistently for my entire six day stay, which made it very difficult to work.

The air-conditioning of my room did not work properly. I requested a change of room, but the staff refused. Instead, a fan was provided. I chose this hotel because of the availability of air-conditioning in its rooms. This is an important factor considering it is summertime. I will not stay in this hotel again.

Great stay in the Ramada. Only issue is the pillows are to hard, one pillow not enough two pillows to many. I would recommend leaving two soft pillows as spares in the wardrobe that way you can swap them round until you get the desired arrangement.

Room itself was okay but as you can’t open the windows and you’re reliant on air con, the air con wasn’t available in cool mode so it was too warm with no way to reduce the temperature. The room was clean and spacious, and bed was comfortable. It isn’t a very nice area to stay in. Service at the bar was very slow. Otherwise all good.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Room cold and air con noisy. Room large , bed on casters that moved at slightest movement. Bathroom good size , shower ok Curtain wall hid the carpark wall from view. Carpark is multi storey very narrow spaces but had room , stair wells not so good no fault of hotel but smelt

Place was clean but too much noise from rooms around mine i stayed in 1608 and rooms around that were a nightmare. Sounded like a party in one and a boyband in the other. Prices for food and drinks are extremely expensive £3.50 for a tiny coke bottle.

The cleaning staff do not remove your garbage or food tray for almost half a day after you leave it outside the door and sometimes up to 24 hours. 2. The WiFi is terrible and slow and keeping toggling ON & OFF. Despite notifying the front desk, they do nothing. Multiple rooms experienced this issue but the hotel is reluctant to act on it. Therefore any requiring internet connection, please think twice before choosing this hotel. 3. The break buffet cost between 10-15 pounds but the menu remains the same everyday. The chef does not even bother to change the way make their eggs like omelettes or scrambled. The chef also states with you observing what you are taking in your plate … don’t know what’s the logic behind it.

Great staff especially the manager nothing was any trouble, we had to move rooms because of a plumbing problem but he even helped move our bags. The area around the hotel was a bit dodgy but we only went out in day light.

Very central so convenient Room was OK They couldn't find my reservation so had to show the email to prove I had one . Trash overflowing outside the hotel, car park and debris. Charge for parking Inside quite clean . Cleaner opens the door to your room at about 08 30 this continues until about 10 30 and bangs around . do not disturb signs unavailable

Booked a twin but bad leak through bathroom ceiling so was moved to a double suite at 10.30 pm. Not ideal as two ladies together. Was not asked if everything had been fine the following morning or apologies for the hassle with previous evening

Good location- walking distance to Coventry Station and nearby retail park. Loads of dining options closeby. Delicious full English! Friendly staff! Room was upgraded which is a bonus!

Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, plenty of choice for food across the road, and a easy enough walk to the city centre. However, it is a little dated and a bit rough round the edges. It also took me a while to find the entrance (travelling by public transport) and it's not in the cleanest/safest of areas.

A really attractive hotel inside a rather starkly austere looking tower block. Really nice staff and a fantastic room with a fab view over Coventry City. Excellent value for money. And it’s near enough the main station so you can walk to it.

Room 801 heating didn't work, substitute plug in electric heater stopped working during night. 6 electricity sockets in room only 2 worked. Couldn't control shower temperature too hot or too cold. Met 2 junkies in the carpark stairwell when arriving at night. The hotel is in the same road as multiple fast food outlets expect loud music from cars and reving engines and shouting late into the evening. Read other recent reviews all complain of lack of heating in the rooms.

More breakfast options would have been good, especially properly wholemeal bread and vegetarian/vegan options. The coffee was good though. My biggest issue was the thin duvet. The first night I hardly slept, the second night I untucked the duvet and wrapped the whole thing around me to get to sleep. I don't like sleeping in warm air but had to turn the air con up to get any sleep. I didn't see any suggestion to reuse towels so my towels were replaced, together with the necessary use of air con = low marks for sustainability.

I had the business room which is excellent. Loads of space and very comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The only thing letting the hotel down is the poor quality of breakfast. Pre-booked the evening before it is just £10 which seemed a bargain. Whilst there is plenty of choice the hot food is very poor. The bacon and sausage are hardly cooked so I avoided these (I love bacon, it is my favourite food, so for me to not have any says a lot) instead opting for scrambled egg, mushrooms and beans. Everything on the plate was barely warm. I left these and made some toast to have with jam. They use one of the circular toasters so the options are either warm bread (once through toaster) or burnt toast (twice through the toaster). I don’t mind burnt toast so ate both pieces. I was still hungry so chose a pastry. This was quite stale so not particularly enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again but will go to a Greggs or similar for breakfast.

The area around this Ramada leaves a little to be desired but the hotel is friendly spacious and very clean - great efficient check in with parking advice etc. Rooms were huge great temperature and clean. Breakfast was excellent with great choice fry up freshly cooked and ladies looking after breakfast really can’t do enough for you . Thanks in particular to Patricia !!

Property from the outside looks out dated, but inside its very modern and up to date with amenities. Double large bed is considered to be a queen size bed, it definitely was not a king size bed, so description of 1large or king is not right when i booked. Cost to purchase breakfast is very expensive 15 pounds, a 10 minute walk to the city centre and you have a variety of breakfast choices for half the price , plus you can go shopping afterwards.
