Ett fantastiskt fint läge vid kanalen i vackra Delft. Ingen hiss dock så trapporna var branta till översta våningen. Frukost okej med det mest basala. Lugnt läge men ändå nära intill folkvimmlet på torget och restauranger. Fantastisk marknad på helgen med konst och antikviteter utmed kanalerna i gamla delarna av centrum. Och en oemotståndlig matmarknad med allt.

Beautiful old building, nicely decorated, but without elevator... for us was excellent, for a person with difficulty to walk would not. Lovely surroundings and close to the plaza and train station. Bathroom was well supplied with lotions, shampoo, conditioner. Room was spacious

Excellent location and car park not to far to walk but extortionate price. Staff are friendly Our room was on the top floor in the attic and beware as very narrow windy stairs which could be dangerous. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were hard so overall we had 2 nights of poor sleep. Weirdly an electric socket was positioned behind the pillows!! Safety issue I think! There is a net curtain at the window but only covers half the window and you are overlooked by neighbouring building.the curtains are very thin so the light is not blocked out which again does not help with sleeping. The room is very stuffy even with the window open - and mosquitos then come in! Couple of problems in bathroom. The cabinet above sink has a shelf sticking out so if you are bending over the sink you will hit your head on it. The shower tray felt very strange as if will break through at any point - it is very flexible and you could feel the blocks under it was resting on - it was also very slippery and no grab rail in shower. Cannot comment on breakfast as did not take up the option as we considered it very expensive price when we don’t eat much. We would not choose to stay there again.

This hotel is perfectly located in a lovely historic area of Delft. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect for strolling, and just a 3-minute walk from very safe underground parking. My only caution is to request a 1st-floor room if multiple narrow and winding staircases are a concern. Above ground-floor reception are four floors of rooms. We were originally sent to the third floor, but I simply could not navigate beyond the second floor with my suitcase. Happily, the receptionist moved us immediately. A lovely spot!

This hotel is really well situated in Delft, in the centre and close to the train station. The room was spacious and well equipped with a coffee machine and toiletries. The view was pleasant over other buildings to the famous church tower. There were some steep steps as it is within an older building. I enjoyed my stay here and would return if I came back to Delft.

We had an excellent and very comfortable stay here at the Hotel Johannes Vermeer! Our room was as large and comfortable as advertised, with tons of space; the AC worked well and kept us cool even though it was quite hot when we were there. Staff were polite and helpful, and baggage storage both before we checked in and after we checked out was a breeze! The location was second to none--it was easily accessible from the train station and right on the canal. It was walkable to pretty much every main sight of old Delft (a bit farther from the windmill but that's relative) and yet it was not a loud area, at least in our experience with a room not facing the street. Close to the grocery store, shops, restaurants/food, and the market that pops up on the street nearby. Couldn't have asked for more! The room was clean with no issues, and we even used the Jacuzzi tub. The tub was less clean than anything else--there was some hair and when we used the jet (not the bubbles but stronger jets) function, they jetted out some build up/detritus, showing they aren't used much or cleaned regularly. Still, we enjoyed the Jacuzzi but would recommend an interior cleaning of the jets.

It was an easy walk from the train station to the hotel. Our room was clean and overlooked the canal. It was a little noisy but nothing extreme so if you're looking for quiet request something in the back. The bed was extremely comfortable after 2 days of exploring Delft and Leiden.

Had a great stay here! We had booked the family room and were put in a huge courtyard room with 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom and double sink. Perfect for travelling with a family of 4. We used Delft as our base to explore the Netherlands and loved it. 10 minutes walk to the train station and the town is really pretty with lots of choice for restaurants and shopping.

Hotel is in great central location. Also an easy 15 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast buffet was very good. Our room on the top (2nd) floor was small but clean. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. The room layouts vary considerably as this is an older building. With no elevator I would ask for a room on the lower level next time. Staff was very accommodating including assisting with carrying luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. Overall, glad we stayed here as the hotel does have some local charm at a reasonable cost.

Our room was spacious and easily accessible. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. We did not eat here at all so can not rate. The room was a bit drafty due to front door gap but it closed and locked and we felt safe tucked in the back corner of the hotel. Excellent walking and biking distance to all we wanted to see and do. Beds were good but could have been more comfortable and would have been nice to have a table to sit at while eating & planning our day

Lovely small hotel, very well placed for the center of Delft, including the market square and Vermeer experience. Wasn't aware of a lift. I have mobility problems so that is a small negative. These days I look for USB outlets in a room. This reduces the need to carry multiple adapters. There were none here. We were cycling but there is no secure cycle storage. We had to lock our expensive bike on the canal side but luckily just outside the front door. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel breakfast was excellent. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out and that enable us to do more in Delft that morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our night in the Johannes Vermeer. It had charm and character and the staff were excellent. The caveats above are minor compared to the overall experience.

These days I look for USB outlets in a room. This reduces the need to carry multiple adapters. There were none here. We were cycling but there is no secure cycle storage. We had to lock our expensive bike on the canal side but luckily just outside the front door. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel breakfast was excellent. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out and that enable us to do more in Delft that morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our night in the Johannes Vermeer. It had charm and character and the staff were excellent. The caveats above are minor compared to the overall experience.

Cute place. Our room was in the roof eaves, very fun. There is no elevator, but the very sweet woman who checked us in carried one of our bags up the stairs. So sweet. Morning staff - I had to track someone down anytime I needed something. (hence the lower score on staff/service). But, once I asked for help, they were very helpful. Right on the canal. Walkable to anything in town.

Hotel is sub-standard. Paint peeling off walls. windows with cracks ot open air. Beds are narrow (80cm) and not very comfortable. Room doors have self-closers that make doors slam. None of this helps with a good night's sleep. Also quite odd -- reception closes at 23:00. So if you arrive late you need to fine another hotel (Best Western) which is about 12 minutes walk away & not easy to fine. And then back, with your luggage. Many people would feel unhappy navigating this route very late at night. Also, I didn't see this info anywhere on the website. Reception lady seemed competent and kind. So the problem is clearly management.

Our room was spacious and easily accessible. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. We did not eat here at all so can not rate. The room was a bit drafty due to front door gap but it closed and locked and we felt safe tucked in the back corner of the hotel. Excellent walking and biking distance to all we wanted to see and do. Beds were good but could have been more comfortable and would have been nice to have a table to sit at while eating & planning our day

This hotel is really well situated in Delft, in the centre and close to the train station. The room was spacious and well equipped with a coffee machine and toiletries. The view was pleasant over other buildings to the famous church tower. There were some steep steps as it is within an older building. I enjoyed my stay here and would return if I came back to Delft.

Hotel is in great central location. Also an easy 15 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast buffet was very good. Our room on the top (2nd) floor was small but clean. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. The room layouts vary considerably as this is an older building. With no elevator I would ask for a room on the lower level next time. Staff was very accommodating including assisting with carrying luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. Overall, glad we stayed here as the hotel does have some local charm at a reasonable cost.

the staff (Nicolas) was friendly helpful and welcoming on my arrival to the hotel . He showed me how to access the hire bike and told me where local shops were , which were very close by. the room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of the canal . Air con was good and i watched the football match in bed . i would definitely recommend this hotel , it had a great location just a short walk from the train station and it felt like i was in the centre of Delft . i was sad to leave as i enjoyed the stay so much . i will return and stay here again .
