The Hotel Mon Repos is our “go to” location whenever staying in Geneva for events and meetings at the United Nations Palais des Nations, which is a lovely 12 minute walk… Mon Repos is directly across the street from Park Mon Repos which is located on the west shore of Lake Geneva… the Park is a showcase of trees and plants and flowering plants from around the world and contains many lovely trails and viewpoints… there is also a boarding dock in the Park for the Water Taxi to take you across Lake Geneva and to the section of Genava where Lake Geneva becomes the Rhône River… Mon Repos has a wonderful daily breakfast for guests… there are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance of Mon Repos… there is also a small but efficient business centre where printing documents can be carried out… the Hotel and rooms are very clean and exceptionally well maintained and the beds have duvet covers and provide for an excellent night’s sleep… highly recommended…

The room was lovely and warm and had a large balcony and stunning views. There was a kettle and lots of UK TV channels. The bed was comfortable and the room was modern. The staff were very polite and helpful, especially the English receptionist. Highly recommend.

Onpersoonlijke ontvangst (moest alle gegevens zelf in invoeren op een tablet….echt alle gegevens terwijl er twee mensen achter de balie stonden toe te kijken. Viel me nog mee dat ik geen account met wachtwoord aan hoefde te maken. Alsof je voor 190 euro per nacht in een formule 1 hotel incheckt).

Room had a large bathroom. Plenty of space in the room. Carts for luggage was nice. Dislike the limited menu and high prices. No continnental breakfast. Fold out bed was very uncomfortable

The are no drawers for clothing and no door to cover the closet. The quality of the furnishings and room comfort was low considering that the total cost is over $375 per night for a room with a king bed (though Geneva is an expensive city). Being in a greener part of the city and proximity to the lake means it is cooler than in the older part of town. They have a great patio in front, but as the allow smoking on the patio, it often becomes unpleasant. Smoking should not be allowed there.

I was a little upset because the only way to keep the electricity on at night was to use a card for the lights and only one outlet worked. Unfortunately everytime I tried to leave a portable charger on to charge the maid service either took the card or disconnected it. It was extremely frustrating

It's a great hotel, very clean and nicely located. Service is excellent. It would have been nice to have a small cafe around to pick up tea/coffee, snacks. My room had ants on the writing desk, which was odd. But I really enjoyed my stay there.

The hotel is excellent value for money. I had a single room which was small but perfectly formed. The location is a bit away from restaurants, etc. it is almost next to the botanical gardens which are beautiful. The public transport is excellent. The one criticism is that the light globe in my bedside lamp was flickering. Even though I reported it twice it did not get fixed. On the whole though, a strong recommend.
