Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms tiny (though to be expected in a budget hotel), the real problem was the fact we had not been warned about the fact they are building a tram line outside the front of the hotel - started very early moving heavy machinery and drilling (6am).

Excellent stay, cheap and cheerful. Really small bathroom but does the job. Great location, walking distance to most sights.

Although the hotel was clean and in a great location the walls were very thin and I could constantly hear my neighbours flushing the toilet, on the phone or watching tv. Also you could not close the door quietly and other guests kept slamming the doors to shut them. I regularly stay in Ibis Hotels but I never had as little sleep as in this one.

We had a quick one night stuff over in Ghent on our way to Germany so this was a perfect place to stay and Central for a quick explore of the city. I was disappointed when I arrived to find that the road that the hotel is on was not accessible by Car due to major roadworks going on. It would have been very helpful for the hotel to have contacted us to inform us of this as it then meant that we parked in a car park about five minute walk away. The hotel staff did not seem to be well informed or particularly attentive of our need for parking, thankfully we managed to find parking ourselves.
