No breakfast, very pet friendly lovely staff at check in rooms need updating very basic paper cups a big no no unplug to to plug kettle in !!! Heating did not work so was cold !! As duvet very thin massive bed definitely need more pillows

We zijn maar 1 nacht in het hotel geweest. Onze kamer was beneden en het was erg handig dat je de auto voor de kamer kunt zetten. Je merkt wel dat het hotel oud is, de handel om het raam op een kier te zetten werkte niet. Het ontbijt is prima, maar de tafels in de ontbijtzaal plakken. Volgens het personeel was het materiaal niet goed schoon te krijgen, maar wij kregen de indruk dat alle tafels schoongemaakt werden met hetzelfde duizenddingendoekje. Lopen naar het centrum van Gent kost wel een uur.

Just AVOID this place! I'm not sure what was worse, the fact it seems to be right next to a chemical factory that hums ALL night, or that there aren't any curtains, just metal shutters with holes in. Maybe the black mould in the bathroom? No wait - I know! It's the fact that the walls are SO THIN you can hear everything around you - EVERYTHING! People talking, in the shower - ON THE TOILET. The place needs knocking down it really does. It was so bad we checked out early and got another hotel. Just avoid!

Chambre sale, traces marrons (excréments ?) sur un mur. Sur 3 lampes placées au dessus du lit 1 seule fonctionnait. Pour allumer ou éteindre la lampe d'ambiance il était nécessaire de s'accroupir pour atteindre l'interrupteur. Il commençait à faire frais, une couverture avait été placée sur le lit (bonne idée) mais cette couverture n'était pas protégée par une housse lavable, qui avait dormi dessus précédemment ? Pas de balayette pour nettoyer la cuvette des WC.

Das Hotel sieht aus wie ein typisches Motel aus einer US-Fernsehserie, aber der äußere Anschein trügt. Der Service ist toll, sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber die Matrazen ein Traum - ich glaube ich habe noch nie in einem Hotel so gut geschlafen, wie hier (und ich bin jede Woche beruflich unterwegs...). Also: Wer in Gent übernachten will und kein Problem damit hat, ein paar Stationen mit dem Bus Linie 8 zu fahren (wird alles vom Personal sehr gut erklärt - Haltestelle ca. 1-2 Min. entfernt, Fahrschein mit EC-Karte beim Fahrer zahlbar) sollte hier übernachten. Ich komme definitiv wieder.

De kamerdeuren knallen hard dicht, waardoor we gestoord werden door de andere hotelgasten, en zij van ons. Op de badkamer hangt slechts één haakje om de handdoeken op te hangen. Er ontbreekt een stop bij het ligbad. Slecht onderhoud in het algemeen. Een koelkastje op de kamer zou geen overbodige luxe zijn.

The room was on the ground floor with no curtains only net curtains, there was a light direct outside the room , so got zero sleep, then had to drive for 13 hours the next day. The bed was uncomfortable!

Staff were really nice and very helpful. Helped sort out a takeaway as the restaurant was closed the evening of my arrival. Would thoroughly recommend, especially if going to see the local football team.. oh and the beer is good too (tripel karmeliet especially). A good base for a trip to Gent

Gutes, bewährtes Hotel mit aufmerksamem Personal, das sich um das Wohlergehen des Gastes kümmert. Die Inneneinrichtung hat sich im Laufe der Jahre abgenutzt, besonders das Bad. Umgebung ist nicht gut. Chemiewerk auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Schlechte Anbindung an ÖPNV, das in Gent ohnehin schlecht ist.

Compact, neat & comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here with a nice room & brilliant bath, which filled quickly. Breakfast was so nice with fruit & granola & much more. Would just suggest some plant based milk be added. Bus 19 goes straight to Sint St Pieterberg station from outside the hotel (8 minutes) or a 40-minute walk ….. yes, we timed it 😄 Nice place 👍

Erg klantvriendelijk personeel, maar geen airco of ventilator aanwezig, wat in de warme maanden minder fijn is. Dit zorgt er ook voor dat wanneer je in deze periode aan de achterzijde van het hotel slaapt met open raam, je waarschijnlijk wel enige geluidshinder ondervind van het personeel en de machines v.d. achter gelegen fabriek.

Too expensive for no reason. This hotel is the worst within this chain. I have stayed in many Hotel Campanile properties but this one is in serious need of refurbishing. Also you cannot boast to have a restaurant and bar only to find them shut at 5om on arrival. Clearly thats wrong information and worrying for any persons or families planning to stay here. Sadly however you offer guest the opportunity to buy alcohol from a fridge and invite them to kill themselves by drinking alcohol with no food. This makes no sense.

After being given rooms which had not been prepared or cleaned, we were moved to rooms which had been prepared. The breakfast choice was very good and plentiful and the restaurant at night offered good meals if you didn't want to travel elsewhere. Overall experience was good and staff were always helpful.

Loved the walk in shower and separate toilet. The room was very comfortable. The evening meal with robot service was excellent. The choice at breakfast was outstanding. Would recommend this hotel and if we travel that way again we would definitely stay there.
