Check in was flawless. The receptionist Yazmin was wonderful. Found my old IHG Priority number and added it to my reservation. That entitled me to late check out which was great. Parking is across the street in a huge open air NCP. I was a little concerned, but it seems to have good lighting and CCTV. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Staff in general were all excellent. There was a brief moment of panic at noon when the fire alarm went off, but it was quickly silenced. Bedding was crisp and fresh. Great sized shower. All in all an excellent stay.

For a short 1 night stay it was ok. Property is outdated. Only one lift was working, took forever and was very small. Only a USB port next to the bed, no plug. And no plug or charging point on the other side of the bed.

Nice hotel and location couldn’t be better, on the Clyde and 10 min walk to Argyle street. NCP 3 min walk. Staff friendly. Breakfast was good and we will definitely stay here again.

Where do I start. We had to wait well past 3pm to check in as the room wasn’t available. Didn’t sleep much from the nosy air con unit firm the 80’s that made noises all night even when turned off. Came to leave and both lifts out of order, 5 floors up with 4 heavy suitcases. No offers of assistance or apologies from staff. My wife has hurt her neck from having to carry one of the cases down 10 flights of stairs (2 per floor) very poor. IHG you must do better.

entering, the reception area was spotless and staff were accommodating and friendly and after entering the room it was also clean and lovely, only downside was the awful water pressure in the shower. On returning at nite I was upset that I couldn't get a drink at the bar at 0030 never been in a hotel with a bar that refused a resident a drink when staying in the building as its home away from home and was not drunk. The other major issue for us was breakfast in the morning which was one of the worst situations I have encountered in a hotel. Was putting food on my plate and couldn't believe there was no bacon and when I asked I was told 5 minutes which turned into 10. When looking for a table there was none free at all, I think having to stand and either eat your breakfast or wait for a table until it goes freezing is unbelievable to be honest for such a massive hotel chain such as this, Bacon finally came out when I had finished my breakfast which was then of no use. In all, except the cleanliness of the room and reception was disappointing and what I would expect in a budget b and b an not paying for a hotel such as a holiday Inn.

Fantastic stay. Reception staff upon check in and out were very friendly and helpful. The room its self was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Comfortable bed, plenty of clean towels along with tea and coffee sachets, and iron and hair dryer also provided. Wifi very easy to access along with a TV. Parking was near the hotel, very easy ro access and great discounted rate provided by hotel. The breakfast in the morning was served during a good timeslot, very well stocked and laid out nicely, very tasty. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend.

Booked through Hotels.com and chose pay at hotel. Hotel decided to charge my card BEFORE I got there, not tell me, and charge me again. Poor hygiene: dust from AC on bed and huge dark stains on towels went unnoticed. Majority of rooms have connecting doors but this is not mentioned or made clear in photos or in description. This can be a threat to your safety like it was to mine when two people barged into my room!! Rang down to reception and had no sympathy at all, and when i rang down a second time had the phone put down. This false advertising is both dangerous and illegal but when I have approached Hotels.com, Holiday Inn's customer service and the hotel about updating this I have been told I have had a refund. I have had to go to Holiday Inn's parent company IHG to ask for a change to be made and will be taking this to the ombudsman. It was also like pulling teeth to get a refund. At first I wasnt offered a refund, then the equivalent of one free night in points (when I stayed for two!), then 50% and then full when I called the hotel back. I was told the reason I wasn't offered a refund in the first place was because I had a positive experience....

Nice comfortable stay. Room was a little cold though. The shower water was discoloured so had to run it for a while before it ran clear. Bit noisy during the night with latecomers. Good breakfast, discounted 24hr parking across the road.

Nice clean spacious room. Was quite cold when we first checked in. Rang reception who said they would sort it. After an hour it was still cold so went down to reception, was given a portable heater, thought it was a bit strange I had to take it to my room myself but anyway it heated the room up. Our room was right outside the lifts so was quite noisy through the night and early morning with people coming and going . Beds were very comfy and the room very clean. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from and staff really friendly. Would stay again but would probably ask for a room away from the lifts.

We had a family room. Which was really small. Didnt have room for our luggage after the sofa bed was opened. Sofa bed was really uncomfortable to sleep on. Didnt sleep properly at all over the 4 nights. One of the receptionists late at night was seen by my wife stroking and hugging a dog in reception. Then straight after that she went to the bar to serve customers without washing her hands.

Room was clean. Bed mattress was uneven rather than flat. Felt like I was sleeping on a hill. No fridge to keep drinks cold. Bathroom was clean. Towels big and thick. Linen lovely. Included breakfast was good. As the hotel is located at the corner of a very busy intersection, there was nowhere to drop off luggage and check in before parking the car in a parking lot.

What can I say, 'Thank you again!' Contacted he hotel to check the room type as my husband still required the sofabed to prop himself up after an operarion. Anthony arranged a change in room type with no fuss, Thank you Anthony, we appreciated your help.' The staff were polite and friendly.

Delighted with our stay! Greeted from the beginning with a friendly check-in which included great information. Breakfast was busy at times but staff worked hard and very well to ensure everything ran smoothly. Very happy with the room, air conditioning was easy to use when neeed. Bathroom was terrific with a great shower. Loved the location by the river and Glasgow Green nearby. We had a couple of requests during our time there which were acted upon with great care. Thanks to all the staff who made it a lovely stay.

Great hotel. Super conveniently located, clean and the breakfast was great. The staff deserve a special shout out, and I regret not taking their names, but I had a medical emergency during my stay and the staff were incredible. Helped me to navigate the healthcare system (we are from out of the country), directed calls to our room from the hospital, held doors for me when I arrived back from the hospital and even checked in to see how I was doing. They were also kind to my daughter amd were helpful with directions. I can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness!

Staff didn't tell us about heat/ac controls for the rooms downstairs. So when we changed the temperature to 17C and fan on high it never cooled. When we reported it thats when they told us we should have called downstairs.

The hotel inside was excellent with very respectful and efficient staff who offered a wealth of information. The breakfast was first class and well presented Unfortunately, the hotel is located in an area of Glasgow which is still being redeveloped and in serious need of improvement however, it was only a short walk to the centre and good attractions

We were 2 friends going to see Simply Red at the OVO Hydro. Hotel was clean and comfortable and very friendly staff. Only had breakfast which was lovely. Was not too far to walk to the Hydro and the price was very reasonable.

There was hammering going on from at least as early as 10am, which is just NOT good enough - people at a hotel are entitled to sleep in if they like. It's their paid privilege. Not to mention the woman next door at 8:30am shouting at her child through the paper-thin walls that he was being selfish through the night playing them music and keeping them up. Thankfully I didn't hear the music, but I certainly heard her! Finally, the hash browns at breakfast were embarrassingly stale.
