The property was easy to find with plenty of free parking. Room was small, but adequate for our needs. Room was clean and tidy but painted a rather ghastly green colour. The lifts were not working which was annoying and would have been quite dangerous if we had had small children with us.

Quick overnight stay, arriving late, leaving early. Guy on reception very pleasant and welcoming. 24 hour tea & coffee in duning area. Beds firm but very comfortable. Lots of parking.

Very welcoming. Great parking and a short walk to the Hydro. Accomodation was basic but comfortable. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but free facilities by reception. Care when booking as if you dont book a double room with a double bed it ebds up as a triple withxa bunk immediately above. Would stay here again though.

Basic accommodation room was clean but carpeting in public areas was not. Pillows lumpy. No kettle or tea making facilities in room there was a machine near reception 2 pound a drink cups small. Heating in room not great and took all night before it warmed up. Free parking which was good and staff friendly and helpful. Paid extra for breakfast which was buffet and eat all you want was good and would recommend. All in all if your looking for somewhere really basic and cheap would be good.

If we’d paid budget prices, I wouldn’t have too much to say as the room was clean enough, staff pleasant and breakfast tasty and plentiful. However…. we paid £300+ for 2 nights b&b and this does not represent value for money. The hotel seems to form the upper floors of a multi story car park so it’s fairly grim and bleak. Not a very pleasant entrance - nor very easy to find your way from the car (or maybe that was just us!) Corridor carpets look filthy. Room was clean but in need of serious TLC: broken shelf under the sink, splatters of ? up the skirting and walls and badly chipped surfaces. Personally we wouldn’t stay here again unless the price WAS budget and we couldn’t get alternative accommodation near the Hydro/Ovo.

Rooms are budget but they do what the say on the tin. Comfy bed, choices of soft or hard pillows. Plenty of towels, toilet roll etc. Power points etc and well thought through design. Free parking is fantastic and there is a bus stop 3 mins from the hotel. Careful with the roller blinds though as you might be directly facing another room. Corridors are a bit musky.

The place was extremely dirty. Smell was horrible, it smelled of cigarettes….. I didn’t feel safe, there were needles by the bin, and several cards were in front of the doors on my floors, as for prostitution would be taking place. I felt extremely unsafe in my experience and didn’t got any rest at all. Very uneasy experience and I will never be coming back.

Dirty tissues left in the room, beds not made, stained sheet, missing remote. Written to complain and didn’t respond for 5 days. Obviously won’t be going here again, would avoid.

The room was tiny, barely any room to move around. The table underneath the TV hadn’t been cleaned, there was clusters of mould in the vent in the toilet cupboard and there was used tissue stuffed behind the TV. Absolutely disgusting. Will not be staying here again

The room was the basic which is what you expect really but it was a good standard. The room was clean and tidy, two single beds were comfortable.. It's a small cubbyhole for the sperate toilet and shower, the sink was in the bedroom. You need to be friendly with the person you're staying with as there is nowhere for privacy. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Great location for the OVO, took about the same time to walk back as it was for a taxi to the venue.

Good place to stay as near to OVO Hydro. Plus near quay, and other places of interest. Friendly staff. Unfortunately my room was a bit noisy. Could hear traffic, even though windows sound proofed.A hairdryer and kettle in room, would of been good as well.Pleasant stay though. Thanks.

Extremely basic but clean. A very poky room. There isn’t even a separate bathroom. There’s a sink in the room, a claustrophobic toilet and a small shower which is also in the room, so if you’re sharing the room with someone, you have to get dried and dressed in front of them. No kettle so you can’t make a drink. If you’re simply looking for somewhere basic to sleep and that’s all then it’s perfectly adequate. However, for a budget hotel, it’s too expensive for what it is. One night was plenty.

Budget hotel as described in the name , comfortable bed,room was basic.No bathroom as such ,toilet cubical and shower unit in room.no extras-no glasses for water.Room dated decor wise but clean. Staff friendly,swift check in/out . Didn't feel was worth what we paid,but there was an event at OVO so prices rise accordingly.

Although the outside of the hotel was very unappealing and quite difficult to find it did exactly what it said on the tin. It was a budget hotel just to put my head down without spending a fortune. The only problem was any time the neighbouring room flushed there loo it sounded like a bulldozer was coming through the wall which made it very difficult to sleep through. The room is small but basic and the bed was very comfortable.

We arrived early (2pm) and were able to check in with no fuss. This is our 2nd stay here and both times the room has been, clean and comfortable. Ideal for a short stay with free parking and only a 20 minute walk to the city centre.

Accused and harrased by staff at the breakfast bar. Forced to produce a reciept to confirm i had paid for my breakfast the day before £8.50 for 2 rounds of toast an glass of orange juice yeah harrased because they couldnt find the payment on their system. I felt completely humiliated having to prove my payment in front of a packed breakfast room.. staff where absolutely a disgrace to the hotel

We didn’t even stay the night as the guests in the room next door were partying and smoking, I had my 2 kids with me and we got moved rooms however we could still hear the party at 10:30pm the staff didn’t want to go and break it up so we decided to go home. Not a family friendly hotel

I think the most disappointing thing was that I arrived at the hotel at 1.20. Which I had given notice earlier to IBIS. (12 to 3) But receptionist said I could check in before 3 at an extra cost.(First time I have experienced this treatment) anywhere. Also they didn't have the room I had booked available only with some assertiveness the receptionist relented. First time with IBIS could be my last!

Reception staff queried the age of my niece and whether or not she qualified for the child's breakfast. Not the meet and greet you expect when checking in. Staff not that pleasant at breakfast time when I asked re hotel food.

I’ve stayed many times and always decent the housekeeping is my only grumble there noisey as heck and don’t seem to care how noiesey they are I’ve had them walk in hours before check out before I don’t understand how they can’t find out what rooms are free to clean off there boss I had 2 girls outside my room at 1pm when I went to nip out one said to me you do realise checkouts 12pm and I had to explain I’d payed for a late check out 2pm they should know that as one of the girls was a receptionist I think they were about to chap my door very strange to open door to staff itching for you to leave

The staff seemed disinterested on arrival and asked if we had been before. Upon answering no, they gave us our room cards and said we were on the seventh floor. My husband (who is on crutches with mobility issues) and I headed back to the lift which wouldn't go up to the seventh floor. We exited the lift and asked if there was an issue as it wouldn't seem to work and she said to use the stairs and tap the key card for entry. The room was extremely basic and didn't feel particularly clean. The sink was opposite the bed and the shower was in a capsule so you had to step out to dry and get dressed in the room. The toilet was behind a door but very cramped. No tea or coffee in the room, you had to go to back to reception for this (was free of charge). We went out and upon arriving back late, we asked the security guard about the lift that still wouldn't work beyond the sixth floor and he was far more helpful and informed us that you needed to tap the key card above the buttons in the lift to access the upper floors. We really should've been told this information on arrival and again when we were pushed towards using the stairs. There are a few positives to the hotel. There are ample car parking spaces and free for over 24 hours once registered at reception. The location is good, a few restaurants nearby and easy to walk into the city centre. The checkout time (midday) was also later than most hotels.

A one night stop in Glasgow on the cheap - here you get what you pay for, a clean room, a bed and very basic breakfast. Not to be critical as it had free parking which sold me and walkable to the city core. Perhaps not in best area but again the price - I would recommend for the budget travelers.

The route into the property coming from the nearest Metro station is via some concrete stairs through an underground carpark. At night this could be intimidating as we encountered several individuals/groups in the area. I stress nothing happened but it didnt make a good impression.

This is advertised as a budget hotel and it does it very well ! It’s not the best area in Glasgow but convenient for the merchant city etc and just a 10 walk to the subway . Absolutely no issues with the place and free parking. What’s not to like

Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. There's no seating apart from a plastic stool or the bed, but this type of hotel isn't designed for long stays or for people staying in the rooms for long periods. Good shower. Breakfast is continental style and pretty reasonable with new items being brought out regularly as things get used up.

It must be remembered that this is a budget hotel and there are no frills. But it was only £42 for the night for two of us plus an extra £8.50 each for a very good continental breakfast which included baked beans, cold meat and cheese as well as fresh fr, yoghurt and cereal plus various pastries. The room very basic with only a few coat hangers for clothing and no tea or coffee but had a tv and the single beds were very comfortable. Not the sort of place to stay more than overnight as no lounge, only the breakfast area but, for what we needed it was good value for money and lots of eateries within walking distance.

Hotel fine. Decent location. Small things often decide whether I stay at a hotel again - tie-breakers, if you like, if I have more than one option. Give you two examples - no tea or coffee in the room. It's only free at the point of delivery, so I am not asking for something for nothing. Like your Belfast IBIS on the same trip, no hot-food option at breakfast. Is this an IBIS change, because your Aberdeen IBIS branch as recently as last year had a full selection?

All good, only disappointing thing was the breakfast, for £8.50 I expect some elements of a cooked breakfast, I would stay again but I wouldn't get bed and breakfast.
