It was unfortunate that the elevators were broken our whole stay but they did give us a refund for it which was kind of them and we missed breakfast one morning due to misinformation but again was refunded for it. The pool was absolutely amazing as it was so warm & a pleasure to be in. I would go back but hopefully elevator works.

The hotel is lovely, the food, dinner and breakfast was excellent, the staff were very friendly however I did have issues. First was the hotel charging me £190 for the room even though I explained that I had already paid for it through Expedia, then the jacuzzi was out of order something that we were looking forward to, then the bed was far too hard so we didn’t get a good sleep so we’re shattered in the morning

Nice hotel. Nothing wrong with our stay except the pool and sauna facilities being unavailable. Which we found out at check oit the next morning. If id known in advance these facilities wouldnt be available i would of booked sonewhere else as i was really really looking forward to having a couple hours relaxing before the journey home. I overhead a couple in the lift who where offered a free breakfast as way of apology. I was told sorry. A lttle compensation would of been nice too. But it is a nice hotel and everything else was great. I would defo stay again but i would check to make sure all the facilities that i paid for will be available on the dates!!

Great stay here - excellent to be able to use the executive lounge (although its pretty small for the number of people that have access!) & every staff member we talked to was very helpful & lovely. Lifts were a bit slow (one being renovated, so not surprising!) and some of the stairwells that we used due to this looked like they could do with a bit of refreshing, but that was the only minor negative.

Lifts under construction so long wait on lifts, especially around check out time. Had to request twice to have bed made up to two singles as booked but room very clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, freshly cooked. Breakfast waiting staff and dinner waiting staff very friendly. Bar staff (Frid night) were a bit glum! Not much chat or personality, bit strange when working behind a bar! Reception staff friendly, welcoming and polite. Easy parking and close to town centre.

The reception staff were outstanding. Mohamed was a breath of fresh air. So polite and chatting with our kids. I honestly believe after chatting to an online member telling her the reason of our stay we got a nice treat and we can honestly not thank everyone enough. Breakfast was superb. Unfortunately we had a small issue. The pool was nice but the changing rooms were appealing. Used towels everywhere, cleanliness was not great, half eaten apple left on floor. I understand guests should take there towel out but I do not think it would take much for the staff to have a walk through every so often to check and give quick clean. Sorry this sounds bad but for the Crowne plaza you don’t expect that. Everything else was superb

It was a shame our room was so close to the lifts, it was really noisy at night and in the morning with people coming and going. The lift situation was also frustrating. We ended up taking the stairs everytime. Breakfast was great, the bar was great and so was checkin/checkout.

The hotel was perfectly located for the event we attended at the Armadillo. Some aspects of our room was not very clean - a lot of dust on the shelf above the fridge for example. The room service food was cold on arrival

General service was ok, staff was mostly friendly and helpful; breakfast was ok, although I missed healthy bread options and fresh vegetables; The rooms need definitively an update. The carpets are dirty, there were stains on the bedframes and chairs. AC ist super loud and there are no other options for ventilation.

Have stayed here many times over the years but this will probably be my last. The staff are lovely, the room was clean but the smell of damp was very unpleasant. As we did not arrive till late, we accepted it and hoped we would get used to it. If anything it got worse and became nauseating by morning. The aircon may have helped but it was so loud and rattling that we had to turn it off. I believe the source was the wetroom. An all round disappointing stay. Hopefully a one off but I won’t be taking the chance again.

The staff at Crown Plaza Glasgow were absolutely amazing. It was my wife’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make the day special for her. The reception staff were helpful, friendly and had a sense of humour. There was one member of the reception staff who always had a laugh and a joke with me when he saw me (I can’t remember his name but he was young and his name started with a M). Nothing was too much trouble for them, the room was cleaned daily and the food for breakfast and dinner was just lovely. A few downsides…. There were areas of our room that were not clean, some red/orange stains on the carpet, the aircon/heating wasn’t the best and the toilet took several flushes to get rid of waste/toilet roll. but this wasn’t a big deal with the overall experience. The shower was absolutely amazing, I could have stopped in there for hours. By far one of the best experiences in a hotel in the UK.

All in all it was fine and for the money it was value. Our room had a great view, lovely bed linen and fluffy towels but decor was a bit tired. Unfortunately, it was the first one at the door from the lift and it got a bit noisy with people coming and going, especially in the morning. Breakfast was disappointing. Buffet with no trays so several trips needed to fetch food and drink back to your table meaning either your drink or meal was cold by the time you sat down. Staff did offer to help but we hadn't chosen our food at this point. Only two very slow coffee machines were working which some guests struggled to operate and they delivered not particularly nice coffee or hot chocolate. Plates for the hot food were cold and the food, although it was sitting under lamps, was a bit lukewarm. Poached eggs were like hard boiled. Also tiny pastries and not much choice for continental breakfasts, why not just full sized?

The hotel was in a good location, but the property itself was very dated. The room was hot and ventilation poor, elevator service was bad ( although they were working on an upgrade at the time). The best part of the stay was the morning breakfast and the staff was very friendly.

Great stay for the hydro, hotel was really nice. We had a booked a river view room but had more of the carpark than the river. The beds were a little springy, one of the mattresses seemed newer than the other. Aircon was good to have however it was very noisy and we needed to keep it on during the night as we had turned it off and the room was boiling

Hotel and staff excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Problem with hairdryer not working and was replaced very quickly. Only issue was lack of information on and availability gluten free options for dinner and breakfast - this could definitely be improved eg info on menu or via code and gf cereal and bread available at breakfast with separate toaster.

The staff were awesome. They sorted out all of our issues we had with our rooms. The first rooms fridge didn’t work, so we got moved to another room. Then the aircon didn’t work in that room, but they had someone in hand to fix it right away. They even threw in some free drinks for the inconvenience.

The staff were fabulous. We were sitting in the bar and observed a large queue forming at reception. One of the waiting staff promptly arrived with a complimentary glass of wine and apologised for the wait. What a lovely touch and a great way to diffuse what could potentially be a fraught situation.

I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza on a couple of occasions now and on our recent visit the service was excellent the staff are super friendly and helpful. The room with a view was lovely, bed very comfortable but a couple of improvements required - not enough plug sockets for the kettle and using powdered scrambled egg is s big no for me too, I asked for an omelette which most 4 star hotels accommodate but this request was refused, even though chefs were walking around in chef hats.

Our stay was spoiled the moment we arrived and seeing the queue waiting to check in. We ended up waiting 35 minutes to get to the check in desk and another 15 minutes trying to check in as seemingly there was an issue with the checking in process even though the other guests around us seemed to be fine ?? At that point in steps Alan to help and told us it was what it is and we would just have to wait. He showed no interest in the fact we had already waited 50 minutes !! We were very disappointed in his overall attitude to the situation. The club lounge on the Saturday night was a joke, there was seating for 26 people which were all taken leaving another dozen or so people standing around eating their food packed in like sardines. Apart from these 2 issues the next day went a lot smoother and everything was fine.

Hotel is clean and modern throughout, ended up being quite reasonable for the kind of hotel it is. Check-in was quick even though there was a big que. Cant fault the hotel for the stay and breakfast was amazing aswell. The only negative was the meal we had in the evening, starter came almost straight away which was good, we waited 45 minutes for the main to come which never did, asked at the bar what had happened and it eventually came. Wifes meal was ok but my fish was cold and only just edible. We had a show to go and see so we didnt have time to mess about. We did get a drinks voucher each as an apology but as we were so short on time, we ended up giving it to another guest to use.

Hi overall decent stay for 23rd wedding anniversary trip spoilt by what was supposed to be a special meal ....the service in the restaurant was very poor especially a hotel the size of CP. It started at maitre'd desk who said we didnt have a reservation....we made weeks before and also checked week before over the phone and also when we checked in. Then when shown to table it took staff over 35 minutes to take a drinks order. Food service was equally slow and restaurant wasnt particularly busy. Stsfc were not attentive and had to be chivvied along. Overall really spoilt a special evening. Luckily breakfast was self service and was as expected.

Reception staff and checkinall good as was porter at lift One lift not in use one of the other two was decidedly on its way out We pre ordered drinks and snacks for after our concert Drinks were warm and food was lukewarm and felt like it had been cooked some time ago. It definitely wasn’t fresh and hadn’t retained any semblance of freshness. Left most of it. Only preordered because it had been recommended to do so at checkin. Definitely wouldn’t do that again. Breakfast was excellent as was the service at breakfast. Check out no problem and the same lovely member of staff sorry didn’t get his name but he was training checked us out. Would still stay again it’s a perfect location.

Close to the Hydro where our event was. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff were all exceptional and friendly. We loved the idea of pre-ordering post event drinks which were waiting on a reserved table for us when we returned. Excellent idea. The food we had in the bar before our event was so tasty! Excellent choice at breakfast too. I’ll be back to this hotel - worth the money

I enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza. The king size bed was two singles or two small doubles pushed together which was a bit disappointing. Also, I found the food for dinner wasn't great. The chips were very dry and the burger was ok, but nothing amazing. I'd have expected more from a 4 star hotel for food... Other than that, I had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.
