Tom Sullivan was on reception as we checked in, he was very polite, friendly & always ready to help. He made our stay extremely special. Only wish that the swimming pool would be open as it was under maintenance. Hotel is located very central close to many places. Our room was very spacious. Cleaning was average.View was amazing from the room.Anyone visiting here I would recommend this hotel is the best.

This hotel was fantastic. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is well worth it as you need a reservation to eat at most restaurants in Scotland. And it was delicious. As we had access to the executive lounge, I had a constant supply of coffee, tea, Irn Bru and snacks at my disposal. Lovely hotel, will strongly consider it again for my next trip to Glasgow. Fair warning, the bar attached to the hotel is a “No Football Colours” bar. So no Celtic or Rangers apparel in there.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hotel. Santa’s were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast choices were excellent and plenty food! The hotel room was very spacious and clean. Only negative comment I would make was the cleanliness of the pool changing rooms and the availability of seats around the pool area.

Steam room wasn’t working. It was very noisy due to a function going on until 12 o’clock at night with loud music being played overall very disappointed. Also there was no bottled water or biscuits in the room which you would expect for a premium quality hotel.

Room was ok need a proper clean, found dust on the tv unit and on tv, under the small sink in bathroom was not clean, back hair on back of toliet pan. My bedsheet had red wine staining in this, was going to say that bight but was going out, ordered food for the room and this was cold for all 3 of us. This was the bight we had a concert at the o2 academy, so said when booking out. We paid over 500 pounds for the weekend and felt the standard should have been must better. Was going to come back but unsure if i could, i also noticed this hotel is part of Rangers club and i am disappointed with the standard as a fan myself i would have advertised this hotel to friends but now i wont.

Plenty choice of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic. The Breakfast service was lovely, plenty choice. Very clean hotel. Staff were very nice & polite, and the hotel is located just a 10 mins from the bus station- easy to find. The hotel is great for city breaks, and literally 5 mins from Sauchiehall Street. Our room was really spacious, with a walk in wardrobe, and a wet room room/ shower so no shower tray. Easily accessible room.

We stayed for 2 nights. There were two things that irked me. The floor in the breakfast dining area was sticky and filthy. Our room was not cleaned. I had to ask for it to be cleaned.

Very welcoming from the minute you walk through the front door! Very clean, lovely rooms. When we stayed we were told there was an event in the hotel later that night & it might be noisy, we didn't hear a thing, very peaceful night sleep in a lovely big comfortable clean bed! Bliss! The housekeepers do a fantastic job 👏 👍

The room was fine, spacious and had a separate bath and shower which was nice. It could definitely have been cleaner. There was also no bottled water, no bathrobe, no shower cap/tissues. The hairdryer looked promising and then I was disappointed to see it was one where I had to constantly press the button to make it work. And the kettle was attached to the tray so I had to fill mugs with water to fill it. The stay was fine but these wee things make a difference.

We had a great family stay the staff were great the only thing that wasn’t the best was the cleanliness of the pool and the changing rooms the pool was quite dirty round the tiles and the whole pool, the changing rooms after we came out the pool were covered in dirty towels and water everywhere didn’t look like it had been tidied up for a few hours . Otherwise we will be back hopefully the pools a bit cleaner next time. Thanks

This is my second time staying at Double Tree Inn. The rooms are ok. The hallways could use cleaning even the lobby could have been cleaned better. The worst was the gym. It was filthy. I mean FILTHY ! The floors were very dirty and the exercise equipment was just as dirty. Have a little pride !

The lady who checked us in was very welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The downsides are the area outside the hotel and the pool. We booked this hotel specifically for the pool which looked lovely on the photos but the reality is very different. We were turned away first because it was too busy then when we came back at the suggested time it was still busy and half the pool cordoned off (assuming for kids swimming lessons.) The water was so murky it was really unpleasant. The rest of the hotel is lovely and clean and the reception staff were welcoming.

This was the largest room we've had by far since our arrival in Scotland. The location is great for getting to pedestrian friendly shopping and dining, as well as bus, subway, and train stops. We spent three nights and were very comfortable.

Unfortunately when there is a conference or other event hosted in the hotel, it is a bit too busy and a bit too noisy. Live music in the bar was great. The room was fine, it was comfortable but a bit cramped. Check in was pleasant. All staff were excellent and guests made to feel welcome. I especially valued the way they each engaged with my 8 yr old son. Breakfast was disorganised, over-subscribed, and chaotic. I don’t think it is acceptable to have to queue for a table at breakfast. Fresh juice urns were empty. 3 of 4 coffee machines were not working. Hot food slow to be replenished. Very limited fresh fruit offering. Pancake machine not working. The breakfast service staff were good and did well to get tables cleared and reset for the next guests.

Been to this hotel a few times over the years which have all been good. On this visit I noticed a few changes. Room was ok but there was no fridge in the room, toilet was starting to show its age although the cleanliness was good. Breakfast was ok but out of the 4 coffee machines two weren’t working, one only had hot chocolate or hot water ! There were no warm plates for the hot breakfast items, and I need to say that I’ve never had black pudding slices that small! Overall I just got the feeling that cost cutting was taking the edge off this hotel

Great central hotel with parking but be prepared for a very narrow underground car park, not for the faint hearted! Room huge, beds good, shower bath with very strong water pressure. Good choice at breakfast. Staff efficient.Only issue was room card stopped working. Overall would stay again.

The reception staff were amazing, i was travelling with a disabled client. I was asked if i had a preference to room options. We were delighted, when we were offered first floor room, with walk in shower, beautiful room with double and queen beds. And also close to the lift.

During our family long weekend stay (4 rooms) we had the best of attention from the friendly and helpful staff at all levels. They made this 90th birthday celebration a very memorable occasion for all of us. The fact that the hotel has integral parking space was a big plus.

Regrettable. We had a lovely theatre trip but chose the wrong hotel. We also complained to management as daughter had slip in the swimming changing rooms and attendant was not engaged/supportive or quick to respond to our suggestion of getting someone in to dry the place down and assess the safety. She had hit her head and there was absolutely no concern for her. I asked to complete an incident form when reporting at front desk. The gluten free breakfast was difficult to manage - there was no simple list and we had to speak with multiple staff to arrange our choices - I had asked at the desk on arrival the day before and was assured there would be a gluten free section but there was not. The server made reference to an area sometimes being there but not that day. We could not find it then was told it did not exist. Overall it was not a relaxing stay at all. At least the theatre knew how to show a fun time! I am beyond disappointed ! The hotel receptionist did a very good job and so compliments to them.

Check in was fantastic, however bar service is painfully slow, with bar staff serving people that have just arrived at the bar whilst I was stood for about 5 minutes. Woken up this morning (Sunday) at 650am to load music playing for about an hour too. Didn’t think that this hotel would allow that sort of thing to happen.

myself my daughter and grandauhgter stayed for 1 night for my daughters birthday it was a great stay untill breakfast where we were asked to sit in the bar and have it but when we went in to the breakfast area there was plenty of tables all set up and about another 29 people at least were seated in that area straight after us we got refunded a small amount but to be treated so differant from everyone else was terrible it was like the film pretty woman where julia roberts was treated like dirt in a cloths shop feeling like dirt i will never forget this bad experience and will never go back to this hotel my daughter books allot of her clients into these hilton hotels regular and is also going to rethink this as she was disgustered as well.

My only complaint is the Hotel does not tell you it is in a low emissions zone. meaning I'm going to fined for driving to the Hotel I'd booked. As a tourist I think this completely unacceptable. I 100% would not have stayed hear had they informed me prior to booking.

Lovely welcome from reception who informed us we had been upgraded to a suite. Lovely start. Suite was clean large and really great but a little dated in areas. Our suite was directly at the lift entrance to corridor which created some noise. This could easily be rectified with better sound proofing doors in the suite. Didn’t use any leisure facilities. Very wide range of nationalities staying which gave a great ambiance. Only used the bar for 1 drink after our theatre show. It was lively as some kind of corporate function was taking place in the hotel or nearby. All in all a pleasant visit with a really good breakfast inclusive in price. Would stay again.

Hotel nice, bar and restraunts had staffing issues so long wait for food and drinks! Food overpriced and not great! 1st day of breakfast not good, lots of empty food bowls on hot plate and asked for 2x fried eggs which we didnt get, waiter obviously forgot! Lovely hotel but not great service!

Limited dining ...restaurant in the hotel had a menu like a pub..the choices were pub food and the food itself was very bland and expensive for what it was. Expected much more from a Hilton that charges top prices. Would have been better eating at a witherspoons.Wont stay again.
