Staff at check in wasn’t very forthcoming or helpful with suggestions of local facilities As we asked if the property had an outdoor bbq area or picnic area or an area to eat outside together with families No facilities at all pretty disappointing for the price

Nice property, rooms were large and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient. Internet was fast and not limited. Breakfast was average but as a $15 option for the 3 of us, it was good value. The Gym was a concrete slab with a few walls and no roof or equipment. Other than that, a good hassle free stay.

The location and the service are excellent and we have often stayed here because of the proximity to take away cafes. We have found the bed a little too soft for our liking but that is because we like very hard beds. Parking can be at a premium if you arrive late and you may need to park away from your unit if the motel is full.

We called the after hours and it was very unhelpful, they didn’t have any information or anything helpful before we booked. So we informed them we will be arriving at 5am in need of sleep and hopefully breakfast after. this was 23:00, So they said we can book using wotif, so we did that. at 7:30am we called the receptionist to see if we can have a late check out as we arrive at 5:am they refused. We than ask what time was the breakfast as we didn’t have that information, the said it finish at 9am and check out ten. We ask if they can refund our money they refused, so we paid $50 extra to get breakfast and didn’t end up having it, didn’t get our money back, as they wasn’t any options that was a bit ridiculous for us. Now we paid $250 in total to not sleep or eat that’s just not good customer service on us. Considering we had called and informed after hours before booking. we were expecting some kindness. Basically don’t call the after hours they are unhelpful. Second don’t bother paying for breakfast it’s a west of money and you will regret it like I do. Room was very dusty too. Overall I wouldn’t book this place again very disappointed with their lake of empathy and kindness.

Our shower screen leaked from inside to the outside of the shower, essentially flooding the bathroom. The toilet paper is horrible - not rolls of paper, squares you pull out 1 by 1. We also had red lipstick on our bathroom door, not from us. Positive was the bedding was comfy.

A wonderful place to stay if you are in Goulburn. Quiet, clean, great room temperature, comfortable bed, good bathroom, bath towel was the best 😊 Secured parking, quality bathroom usable, friendly staff, just a min to petrol station and highway exits, 4min to town. Just a wonderful experience if you need a good place to stay or even nap when passing by, we booked a standard room which had a queen bed. Enjoy the netflix, coffee & tea on the house plus reasonably priced breakfast. My room was 137 😊 seems like management keeps a good tag on hygiene. Kudos to the manager. Great job keeping the place for a wonderful service. Happy customer ✌️

Just stopped for a quick overnight stay on a drive from QLD to Victoria. The property presents like a motel in its layout and style. The room was clean with a nice decent shower however it did have a stale musky smell and amenities are very basic such as the shampoo and conditioner choice etc. the food we ordered for the kids from room service was good- couldn’t complain. Would stay here again.

I love staying here! Rooms are large, comfortable, well appointed, comfy bed with quality bedding, huge modern bathroom, plush towels, parking right outside your room. Easy check in and out with great reception staff. I’ll be back!

Well appointed and spacious room. Easy access from car parki g to room and friendly reception team. The bed was very soft and cushioned - but possibly getting old as i felt like the edges would give way and i was going to roll on to the floor. A cushion under the mattress fixed this enough to improve the comfort.

We stayed for 2 nights at Mercure Goulburn. The accommodation was easy to find, being close to the main motorway, and close to petrol stations and food options. Checking in was super easy. I appreciated the friendly staff working out my complicated booking (ended up with separate bookings for each night). The room was clean and spacious. The kitchenette had everything we needed to have a takeaway dinner in the room as well. I did find the bed too soft for my liking but that’s personal preference. The buffet breakfast was awesome! There was a decent range and some different food on offer each morning. We thoroughly enjoyed it. And the breakfast staff were absolutely lovely. If you don’t mind soft beds, then I 100% recommend staying here!

Beautiful appointed room, but the oversight of having the masterbed in the kitchen is odd. We were in room 149, close to the road, with all morning hotel traffic adding to a noisy experience. The fridge hummed loudly on and off all night. The easy fix would be to swap the single beds with the queen and move the adults into the separate room. Otherwise, all other factors were fine.

Mercure is always an amazing stay. The staff are lovely, the rooms are fabulous, the restaurant when we use it is top quality. We’ve used Mercure for over 3 years now whenever we head to Goulburn or travel to Sydney; always making Mercure our pit stop from Victoria

Arrived early and was checked in after only a short wait, which I was very grateful for as I had spent a long day travelling. The front-of-house staff were friendly and very helpful. Good choice of breakfast foods. The room was spacious and clean, albeit there was a gap in the front door that let in a draft on a cold and windy night. Would recommend this hotel and will stay again when I am in the area again.

It was entirely up to my expectations for the price we paid. Very pleased. Friendly and competent staff - always so important! Given that the dining room was closed in the evenings over the holiday period, a pamphlet explaining the various dining options could have been placed nearby. Breakfast was great.
