Good continental breakfast supplied. No bench space around the sink. Shower was a wrap around curtain with the water running on the floor. The steakhouse was not operating. The road had cement centre strips that made it hard to get in and out of the motel.

Our room (14) had a torn curtain, no blockout blinds. Power points on the bed side were so far out of reach as to be useless. Huge sink in the bathroom but no bench space. Advertised as 'Steak House' but no such facility was in operation. Only catering was a simple self-serve breakfast. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Prior to stayinf, we notified the motel we would be bringing dogs. We were placed in a room on the second floor. No/limited grassy areas around for my dogs to releave themselves. Permanent tenants were occasionally rowdy, especially at night. Felt a bit sketchy. The steakhouse was never opened during my stay, and hasn't been for years according to other reviews. "Breakfast included" consisted of tea, coffe, toast or cereal. No hot options. The room was alright. The only negative was it didn't have plates, bowls or any cutlery

Everything was covered in animal hair including all the bedding, floor, cups and cupboards. Breathing in animal hair while trying to sleep. beds can feel springs and bed moves Everytime you move on it. Toliet base was dirty bathroom even had animal hair through it. The lady at the reception was lovely about the only good thing about the property ***I did try to upload photos but it wouldnt allow me to***

I loved this motel, such great value for money. I felt safe, it was quiet, bottom stairs dog friendly. But what got me was the cleanliness. I was a cleaner for 4 years so I pay attention to detail…I couldn’t fault it. From top to bottom. The motel is very lucky to have such fabulous staff. Everything was so easy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

The standard of the reception area and the friendliness at checkin could be better. The room was a disgrace. The room had a terrible smell and was clearly not cleaned thoroughly between guests (with dogs for which a $40 surcharge applied). The dust mites were thick in the carpet and lots of urine stains from previous pets. The room (#9) was located in a dingy corner with no ventilation or light, adding to the musty smell. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. The shower, hand basin & toilet were however relatively new and clean. I definately would not pay $149 $40 for this standard of pet friendly room again

Not a bad motel…… however the room we stayed in smelled strongly of dog. This a a pet friendly motel, but the rooms should be cleaned better to prevent these smells. There was dog fur on the lounge and stains on the carpet, hmmm? If the owners are going to let dogs stay in the rooms then perhaps they shouldn’t rent those rooms to other non dog owners, just keep them for dog owners. Or find a better way to do a deep clean. I ended up being wheezy in the morning. The steakhouse restaurant was a bit hit and miss, out of stock with a lot of things, but our meal was very nice. We should have said something to the owner about the smell. I hope things greatly improve.

This dog friendly property could be great. It has everything required for a comfortable stay but it just needs to be cleaned properly. Lots of dog fur over floors upon arrival. I wiped bedside tables with a wipe and the wipe was black. It’s ok for a stop over but I probably would not stay again.

The room was unclean and the carpets filthy. Someone had tried to spot clean some of the many stains on the carpet and it was thoroughly wet. The bathroom was very unclean. The property is in a bad state of repair and needs a complete renovation. Will not be staying there again.

This is an old motel style, we have used several times before, and certainly will again. Rooms have been redecorated; plain, functional, spacious, easy parking. Very convenient to shopping precinct and our relatives. Lovely hot water, bathrooms very clean! We did have trouble with the tv but we are OLD!!! and eventually we found programs we liked. Beds comfortable, extra pillows, home away from home! Thanks guys!

Staff very nice- clean room Rediculously expensive at $184 for small room, very small bathroom (shr & WC) little room to wipe, sliding door did not slide hence wet floor, no bathroom basin in bathroom, shared basin/kitchen sink outside bathroom, no utensils to use for breakfast even though microwave & toaster in room and worst of all bed worn out- sloped from one side to other and dipped in middle-terrible to sleep on (more suited to a $100 a night charge)

When you sit up in bed and lean back against the headboard, the bed rolled away from the wall. The bed need locks on the castors. Why do motels have taps that you cannot fit the electric jug under? Other than those two minor things, our stay was very good.
