I appreciated having the two storey room - ideal to have a separate space from kids for TV, and then when they go to bed. It is open to the upstairs, so you can still hear them if you're downstairs (an advantage for me). In room facilities were good, I enjoyed the spa bath and Mor products in the bathroom. The room was very clean, there were a few small signs of age but nothing too worrying. The grounds are very bare - a gravel carpark which had some temporary fencing - I must admit I was second guessing my choice when I first arrived! A few more trees around would brighten the place up, but this is a hotel you wouldn't go to for the outdoor space. Don't let it put you off - luckily the indoor space is great! I would definitely stay here again.

A great spot to stay in town, with excellent rooms, great staff and the restaurant dinners/ breakfasts are fantastic as well, a welcome change from other places you'll stay at. A few updates happening with the dug-up driveway and restaurant/entry areas being worked on, but didn't really affect our stay in any way. Will stay here next time around for sure.

Fantastic value for money and generous space given the 2 level accommodation. The bathroom is large with sides for his and hers. A great space to rest and get some work done during transits. Also, the comfortable leather armchairs are a win.

We booked last minute (without any issues) and the room was a lovely surprise! It was very well set out with a great bathroom and kitchen and a small but pleasant back patio. The trees surrounding the venue has just started blooming and you could shut out all of the outdoor noise so it was lovely and quiet. The staff were also all friendly, helpful and efficient! It really was a good stay!

The suite was perfect for our family of six, the split level with the four single beds upstairs was terrific for our children, and the lower level was spacious, providing us with everything we needed and more. The rest room facilities with the separate shower and WC allowed for several people to use the facilities privately and concurrently. The large internal window between the bath tub and the rest of the suite was a great touch.

Very disappointed that the description and photos do not show the steep stairs leading to the bedroom. I have a knee injury and getting up and down to the toilet made the trip very distressing

I paid for room at time of booking. On arrival reception insisted on my paying $150 "security deposit" because I had booked online and stated that some guests had emptied the bar and not paid. Having booked online apparently they are hard to trace. Once inside the room we found the mini bar empty. Had to return to reception to have it inspected. All a bit strange!! What if we hadnt checked straight away. Would we have been charged for using all the contents?

The staff were lovely and very helpful under trying conditions. After going back and forth with the air con, kettle and fridge not working it was discovered there was a power board problem. We reset the power board several times however just couldn’t get it to stay on and had to keep calling reception. The next day we did change rooms and then the tv didn’t work. Resetting the power did work this time!
