The location is phenomenal. With the name Kestrel's Perch we were hoping to see kestrels -- and did within the first hour! Their aerobatics were amazing to watch from the lovely terraced outdoor spaces. Quails visited the yard each day.The interior is nicely decorated and the furnishings are comfortable. But it's the views and outdoors that make this property special. Plus it is mere minutes to restaurants and a grocery. A unique rental.

Jeff’s place is just as wonderful as described and actually better. My only regret is we were not able to stay longer to enjoy it. Everything we needed was there and in abundance. Except for coffee that is. Haha. No keurig, which didn’t bother me at all, as I liked grinding my own. So bring your favorite coffee beans. You won’t be sorry if you decide to stay at Kestral Perch. I assure you.

Kestrel Perch was an oasis on our trip. It was super relaxing and we especially appreciated the use of non-toxic/scented soaps and cleaning products. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect getaway from our Canadian winter. Private back yard, surrounded by trees, with wonderful views of the mountains and city, and comfy seating areas. We enjoyed watching the squirrels, quails, and kestrels. Very well fenced, had no worries about our little dogs escaping and they loved the multi-levels. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our three week stay. Beds were super comfy and cozy. We loved the Boise area with so many hiking and trail areas, loads of golf courses, great restaurants, and all the other attractions, too many to list — kept us busy the whole stay. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful and made the stay even more special.
